Their support team is responsive and helpful, which adds a lot of value. Hover focuses on providing the essential features you actually need from a domain registrar, without unnecessary clutter or upsells, making the whole experience refreshingly smooth. **What do you dislike about Hover Domains?** Hover enforces a 255-character limit on TXT records, which complicates the implementation of 2048-bit DKIM keys, etc. Would be really nice if they updated this to allow 2048-bit. Hover also requires two-factor authentication by email verification code for every login, and they don't have a "delegate access". This means that accessing client accounts requires obtaining a verification code from them each time, which can be inconvenient and time-consuming. **What problems is Hover Domains solving and how is that benefiting you?** Quick and simple domain registration with little to no issues. ### 2. Renewal prices are actually the same as registration prices for some domain extensions and only 10% or more expensive for others. **What do you dislike about Hover Domains?** It's not as cheap as some for the initial registration however you don't get hit with heavy renewal fees so it's good for long term domains rather than 1 year projects. **What problems is Hover Domains solving and how is that benefiting you?** Domain reg and whois privacy which comes free and should be a standard for all domain providers. ### 3. I was using GoDaddy and was frustrated by how complicated it was to do simple tasks like update DNS, forwarding and changing nameservers. All the normal registering and DNS management on Hover are very simple and straight to the point without the constant upselling other services try. **What do you dislike about Hover Domains?** It can be nominally more expensive than other services to register new domain names. This only bothers me when I register for spontaneous domain that I'm not sure what I plan on doing with it and just want it on the cheap. **Recommendations to others considering Hover Domains:** It's a solid service and I haven't had any issues. It gets out of your way and lets you management domains. ### 5. It's very easy and intuitive to use. Because it's fairly new in the market it doesn't show any ads. **What do you dislike about Hover Domains?** It's a little bit on the expensive side but it does give the quality for the money.
