Sometimes the password reset option has difficulty, and it'd be easier if there was a more direct portal to email hosted via HostMonster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HostMonster solving and how is that benefiting you?

Webhost, site backup, SEO optimization, and email hosting. This all-in-one service has made our site hosting fairly simple, even for one not technologically minded. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about HostMonster?

It is easy to use and generally reliable. Customer support is knowledgeable and friendly, for the most part. The price is right for the company. I have certainly worked with worse hosting providers, but have also worked with better hosting companies. We recently switched to HostMonster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HostMonster?

Our server did go down one day and we were not notified. Fortunately, a vendor we were working with found the issue early on and we were able to notify HostMonster (assuming they didn't know) quickly. They did already know and were working on resolving it, but like I said they didn't (and had no plans to) notify us that it went down, or when it went back up. Customer service doesn't always know how to help you, which can be very frustrating, and there are times when submitting a ticket online takes days to get a response.
