Hopscotch offers useful feature sets (from invoice linking and read receipts to accounting integrations with Quickbooks) and gives businesses ultimate control when it comes to configuring the payment experience for their clients. Hopscotch's modern and sleek design is a refreshing change from older, clunkier interfaces. The standout feature is the ability to easily add credit card surcharges for clients who prefer this payment method. This functionality is well-implemented and saves time on calculations and any awkward conversations with clients who want to pay with credit cards. Another benefit is Hopscotch's solid integration with QuickBooks. This feature has been particularly helpful in preventing double data entry, and keeping contacts synced. The most pressing concern is the recurring problems with the payment process, where multiple clients have reported difficulties paying invoices - a direct contradiction to Hopscotch's promise of a quicker and easier payment experience. These aren't isolated incidents but seem to be systemic issues. Compounding this problem is the disappointingly slow and inadequate response from Hopscotch's support team, leaving users feeling stranded when issues arise. As a business relying on timely payments, these problems have had a tangible negative impact on our cash flow, introducing new complications and uncertainties instead of the streamlined process we were promised.
