I think it’s super easy to plan out a month’s worth of content in a single day. The data you get back is pretty interesting, although I’m not sure how much it actually helps in practice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Hootsuite? I find the AI pretty rudimentary. It doesn’t really follow the brand voice I’m trying to establish. I’m not sure what the pricing is, but I’m confident it isn’t cheap. Support is okay, but they can’t really help me understand what the stats and numbers mean. Performance-wise it runs well, but it doesn’t flag missing captions, and it won’t let you edit multiple apps at the same time. That makes adding a first comment with Instagram hashtags a hassle. I really appreciate the social listening feature on Hootsuite. We had no idea what to do about social listening before, and Hootsuite really solved that problem, teaching us from the beginning about it and showing us how to set it up, letting them handle the details. This has helped us feel like we've got an ear on our customers. I also like that Hootsuite guides us with direct directions, guided tutorials, helpful blogs, and YouTube videos offering advice about optimization, making it very easy to actually get it to work. Additionally, I enjoy using Hootsuite's AI tools as they perform just as well, if not better than other unique AI tools we checked out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Hootsuite? I would say Hootsuite needs to be a little more careful with its promotions because, for example, the reason we went on the site in the first place and bought an offer was that they had a deal with Adobe for like, 50% off and a free trial for a full month instead of two weeks. It was really hard convincing the directors to, like, let us purchase software after only two weeks of getting to use it. So, they should extend their free trial. Also, if they do communicate Adobe members get a free trial and 50% off, that should be followed through. Luckily, we needed the tool so badly that we just managed to make the argument. But that was kind of an inconvenience, and I will say that that left it and made it a bit hard to get people excited about the tool. We also tried to organize on Notion, and a Buffer offers a really great nonprofit discount and Hootsuite's discount isn't as friendly. And like we said, we didn't get to do a full, like, one month free trial. So that was a little difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. I use Hootsuite to schedule LinkedIn and X posts, making social media posts easy to cross-reference and allowing for easier scheduling than doing it in-app. I appreciate the useful AI suggestions and how I can visualize the posts on different platforms in one place. The interface is super intuitive to use, even when I first started, I knew how to find my way around because everything has been laid out clearly. It's also super flexible to set up for my needs. I find the buttons for scheduling and switching between social media tabs convenient, and I like knowing where to find the AI suggestions to improve the posts. I like how easy it is to use and the analytics tools that it offers. I've tried multiple social media managing apps/softwares and their analytics typically do not compare to the depth and relevance of the analytics that Hootsuite offers. I like how easy it is to manage and post on multiple social profiles all in one place. I've tried other platforms but it feels like they tend to glitch often, and I don't have that issue with Hootsuite. I think the least helpful thing about Hootsuite is not being able to see an Instagram feed layout. I know for most of our clients having a harmonious and aesthetically pleasing feed is essential for their brands and so having an option to view what your feed will look like with scheduled content would be helpful. I use Hootsuite to post cross-platform on social media accounts for a nonprofit. It allows me to automate the posting process, letting me plan months at a time, which saves a ton of time. It's very easy and convenient to use. I like that it shortens links automatically and the ability to customize for different platforms, like links on Facebook versus 'link in bio' on Instagram. Instead of logging in and editing each post on different apps, scheduling one post across four platforms and changing the messaging for the individual platform on one screen is a huge time saver. Despite posting some weeks 24 hours a day, seven days a week, it's not reaching enough people. I think somehow they're discounting my posts because they're too frequent.
