For a manufacturing business trying to expand its multi-platform presence, adding extra users to collaborate on brand messaging pushes you into expensive enterprise tiers. Furthermore, some of the most critical analytics needed for tracking lead generation are locked behind these higher paywalls, which makes calculating the overall ROI challenging for mid-sized operations. The primary business problem Hootsuite solves for us is the bottleneck in distributing high-quality visual assets. We produce a lot of photorealistic product mockups and cinematic videos for our manufacturing marketing, and pushing those out manually across channels was highly inefficient. Hootsuite allows us to deploy these complex assets across all corporate platforms from one dashboard. What I like most about Hootsuite is that I no longer think about posts one platform at a time. I mostly use Content Calendar, Bulk Scheduler, Streams, Analytics, OwlyWriter AI, and Team Approvals because they help me plan, review, and publish everything from one workspace. Instead of checking whether today's post went live on each individual platform, I can focus on the overall content plan and make adjustments before the schedule becomes too crowded. Moving several planned posts around isn't difficult, but it takes more manual adjustment than I expected when priorities suddenly change. I love the ease of scheduling posts and finding data in reports that would otherwise take me forever on individual channels. The reporting is more reliable than Meta and X which changes too often and without reason. What I like best about Hootsuite is that it gives me a single place to manage multiple social media accounts without constantly switching between platforms. I regularly work with content that needs to be published across different channels, and having everything visible in one dashboard makes planning much easier. Some features are easy to find once you get used to the layout, but there is definitely a learning curve. Before using Hootsuite, managing social media content meant jumping between multiple platforms to check schedules, publish posts, and review upcoming content. That process made it easy to miss timing conflicts or accidentally duplicate content. Hootsuite brought everything into one workflow, making it easier to organize campaigns, maintain consistency across channels, and keep track of what is already scheduled. In the past, managing my social media accounts required opening each individual platform to check messages etc., in addition to posting updates. Using Hootsuite allows me to publish updates across all my platforms, check messages, view engagement levels across platforms and compare performance across platforms without spending hours doing the same task. I also dislike the process of creating reports being too many clicks away. The fact that some design elements seem set (even though there are options) really bothers me. How all my social networks can be viewed at a glance and posted to with relative ease. I very much appreciate the ability to develop a post and then refine it for each platform respectively. The Inbox 2.0 is by far my most used feature and it makes responding to mentions, comments, and messages a breeze! Having Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and Instagram messages, comments, and mentions integrated into one space AND being able to assign them to team members has been invaluable for our workflow. Granting permissions to individuals has been a little bit of a headache at times where there is a bit of vagueness regarding how and which features we're giving permission for. I have had struggles with the performance of the listening feature as far as narrowing results through booleans. Multiple times I have excluded a keyword or phrase only to see it appear in my results. That could likely be a user-error issue rather than a platform issue. The pricing of the listening features has been a bit of an issue for our office, and in the two years since upgrading we have definitely underutilized it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. I like the ease of use of Hootsuite; it's very user-friendly and easy to navigate. The convenience of having a snapshot of everything social in one spot is great. Scheduling social posts for multiple platforms in one place is really handy, and I appreciate having all our social analytics combined in one spot. I think that Hootsuite is missing a couple of opportunities and functions that these social platforms have natively, like posting both a photo and a video together on Facebook or adding platform audios on TikTok. Each social platform has a couple of unique helpful features that aren't integrated yet into Hootsuite. It would be beneficial if we were able to post both a photo and a video together in one post on Hootsuite, but this isn't a capability yet despite it being a function on both Facebook and X. I am so far down in my couch i think i might be able to grow roots, but i still needed to finish this. Hootsuite keeps all of our social media platforms in one place. It saves me from logging into each of the 5 apps daily. The posting tool works as expected. I am happy that it did not crash while i was creating the batch of posts for the week. In the monthly calendar view you can only see the little platform logos (i.e. Twitter logo) instead of the actual picture or text that will appear in your post. Occasionally when the site lags, some of the text disappears without warning and i cannot click an "undo" button to recover it, which causes me extreme frustration. Hootsuite basically allows us to schedule posts ahead of time. We can upload multiple tweets/instagram photos/posts and then ignore them until they go live. This eliminates us from having to constantly check each app for replies to comments.
