There are quite a few items offered in both Beta and Release that really should be tested more thoroughly, with a few issues ironed out before they go live. We're dedicated to improving our exam security and recently delivered significant enhancements to our ID verification process, incorporating more stringent requirements for assessing critical ID features and name analysis. With respect to your external camera concerns, we recently delivered a new feature that requires an external camera to be placed at a side angle. When this setting is enabled, students must plug in the external camera before they are allowed to launch their exam. We’re glad you agree our Search & Destroy feature is a great way to keep students from finding answered questions without permission. While we do not verify if a students’ hands stay on camera, Honorlock does offer cell phone detection via our Multi-Device Detection feature as well as an optional room scan before the exam.
