If we have a question, I can usually expect an answer within 24 hours. **What do you dislike about Honorlock?** It is expensive and hard to justify to upper administration. Students and faculty resistance. **What problems is Honorlock solving and how is that benefiting you?** It does not solve any problems. I had literally 0 conflicts in using it. **What do you dislike about Honorlock?** Im not sure how secure it really is or if it is taking any information in that it should not be. **What problems is Honorlock solving and how is that benefiting you?** Helping make sure that students arent cheating. Its good in allowing me to take exams and such in person which lessens my anxiety. ### 3. It can break down barriers students may face to get to a campus to take an exam. It is easy to set up and I like that a chat support is always there for my students. I use it for all of my exams to basically make sure students do not have their Spanish-speaking friend feeding them answers. **What do you dislike about Honorlock?** Honorlock is relatively sensitive. I check a ton of flags that are not anything serious. Some students freak out because of the flags. Set up is kind of difficult for students because it takes multiple steps, using a certain browser, having your webcam and mic working, etc to use. **What problems is Honorlock solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is making sure my students are the only ones taking the exam without external help. **Official Response from David Dupert:** > Hi Ashley, thank you for your response. Honorlock is a good product for what it does. **Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2022 **What do you like best about Honorlock?** I like that Honorlock uses Facial Detection as opposed to Facial Recognition and that a human being (and not AI) compares the test taker's face to the ID. **What do you dislike about Honorlock?** I dislike electronic proctoring in general. However, I believe Honorlock is a good tool for what it is designed to do. **Recommendations to others considering Honorlock:** Honorlock is the only electronic proctoring solution I am aware of that does not use Facial Recognition.
