"Effortless Contracts and Payments, Annoying Company Focus on Useless AI Features"
3.5/5
What do you like best about HoneyBook?

I mostly like how easy the contracts and payments work for me and the client. I can just set up a template and send it over for them to sign, make little tweaks, and then on their end they just do a credit card and it gets scheduled. It's upfront and easy to understand for both parties. HoneyBook helps me with scheduling conflicts and keeping myself organized, making sure I don't double book a wedding on the same day, and it keeps me organized with payments. I also liked the easy integration into my calendar. Inquiries automatically get loaded into my Google Calendar so I can see at a glance when they inquire if I'm busy that weekend or even that day, without having to cross reference and add it in manually. The initial setup was pretty easy. These are the things that are most helpful for me in my wedding videography business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HoneyBook?

{"I don't love the communication part of it with the emails integrating into my website.","Using their form is kind of a pain.","I wish there was an easier way to gather leads and then communicate directly from my Gmail without having to pay for upgrades.","The price seems to be increasing annually."} Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"So Many Integrations—Keeps Real Estate Leads Organized and Automated"
4/5
What do you like best about HoneyBook?

I like that there are so many integrations. I use this specifically to manage my real estate client, and we use FloDesk and Canva, and I can integrate her email marketing contacts easily and can use templates we've already decide and import them but make sending out custom showing proposals, open houses, etc. automated while still keeping the branding the same. With real estate having so many different types of leads and coming from other sources, it's really nice to have everything in one place and organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HoneyBook?

I wish their task project pipeline was a little more user friendly on the project management side. For people who aren't familiar with interacting with CRMs that much, when I want to share an outlook on something with Jacqui (the real estate agent whose marketing I do) it can be difficult to breakdown and explain in remote settings. "Honeybook Strikes the Perfect Balance: Easy to Use and Train"
5/5
What do you like best about HoneyBook?

It is so easy to navigate, user friendly, and great to train our team on! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HoneyBook?

It lacks some ability to customize forms and portal displays, but honestly that hasn't held us back. We have used major competitors that allow a lot of customization and it has been too hard to use because it had too much ability to customize. Honeybook is a great balance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Sharon Blatt of HoneyBook

Easy enough for the whole team to learn and powerful enough to run your business on 🤩 That's exactly the balance we're going for 💛

Thank you for naming the customization tradeoff so well. We think about that balance a lot, and hearing that it's actually working in your favor means a lot to us.

So glad HoneyBook is keeping your leads, client comms, and team correspondence all in one place. That's the dream 💛

"Streamlined Workflow and User-Friendly, But Sundays Can Be Frustrating"
4/5
What do you like best about HoneyBook?

I like that HoneyBook is easy to use and user-friendly. It's simple to start using and get the hang of it. I really appreciate how it keeps everything streamlined in one place, which improves my workflow quite a bit. I also like that it allows me to tag clients by country or where they're coming from, having everything needed for a client accessible in one place. I find the booking portal handy as it lets clients log in to see everything on their end as well. Another thing I like is the ease of the initial setup, as it's pretty plug-and-play, allowing me to set everything up without having to go through a bunch of tutorials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HoneyBook?

Sundays, it is down. I'm not able to log in. If I get inquiries from HoneyBook on Sundays, I'm not able to log in at least via the web. And respond. It won't load on Sundays. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized Client Management Made Easy"
4.5/5
What do you like best about HoneyBook?

I like how HoneyBook brings everything into a single, organized platform. Managing client communication, documents, and payments from one place makes day-to-day work much smoother. The automation features are especially helpful because follow-up reminders and workflow automation reduce manual effort and save time. I also find the interface quite clean and easy to navigate, which helps when handling multiple clients at once. Another thing I appreciate is how simple it is to send proposals and contracts and track their status without constantly checking emails. The automation features like reminders and follow-ups save a lot of manual effort and help ensure nothing is missed during client handling. It's been useful for maintaining a structured workflow and improving coordination between teams, especially when handling multiple clients simultaneously. HoneyBook helps solve issues by bringing everything into one place. It streamlines client communication, automates reminders, and keeps all documents like proposals, contracts, and invoices easily accessible. This reduces manual tracking and minimizes the chances of missing important updates. Features I use most are the workflows automation and client communication tools. Automated reminders and follow-ups are especially useful because they reduce manual tracking and help ensure nothing slips through the cracks when managing multiple clients. I also rely a lot on the proposals and contracts feature. Being able to create, send, and track them in one place makes the process much faster and more organized compared to handling everything over email. Another valuable feature is the invoicing and payment tracking. It simplifies the billing process and gives better visibility into payment status without needing separate tools. These features help streamline day-to-day operations and save time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HoneyBook?

One thing that could be improved is the initial setup of workflows and automations. While the feature is powerful, it can feel a bit complex at the beginning, especially when trying to customize it for specific use cases. I’ve also noticed that the customization options for templates (like proposals or emails) can feel somewhat limited if you’re looking for more advanced personalization. Additionally, occasional delays in notifications or syncing can happen, which can be slightly inconvenient when managing time-sensitive tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Polished Proposals and Instant Pay, but Beware of Fees"
5/5
What do you like best about HoneyBook?

I use HoneyBook for writing very polished proposals, including contracts, which makes me look great and professional. I love that they have a way to make payment directly through the email, which is very efficient. I would say it has increased my closure rate to about at least 80%. It's also pretty user-friendly, and the initial setup was pretty easy. I'm getting a lot of value from HoneyBook for just $20 a month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HoneyBook?

The instant pay deduction is pretty hefty. I wish I could adjust the positioning of the itemized invoiced items. It's not possible to reorder invoice items through the phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"HoneyBook Streamlines Templates, Financials, and Customer Interactions"
4/5
What do you like best about HoneyBook?

I like that HoneyBook streamlines all of my templates, financials, and customer interactions in one software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HoneyBook?

I do not like the AI suggestions most of the time. They take time to disable/remove and do not sound like myself at all. I also do not like how much of a cut they take out of payments made to me. It is a significant percentage that makes me consider switching softwares. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One Platform for Your Business"
5/5
What do you like best about HoneyBook?

It has everything I could want. Scheduling, invoices, contracts, and financing are all included. I’m no longer having to bounce back and forth between five different software programs just to run my business, because it’s all in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HoneyBook?

The only thing that comes to mind is that it’s difficult to edit your pipeline on the app. The desktop version, everything is laid out wonderfully. The pipeline for the the app however can be difficult to maneuver at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
