Easy to use, short learning curve and setting up and customizing templates to get started was easy, and have further refined since then.. Online help has been useful too. Integrates many things I was doing over multiple separate tools (contracts, invoices, calendar booking and now galleries). AI tools are great for automations and template driven responses. Dislike....not much I actively dislike. The invoice processing fees are a little higher than using Stripe as a separate step, but not greatly so. I wish it had an integration with PicFlow - although I use the new built in galleries for most final deliveries, PicFlow offers better client proofing for collaborative projects. I love how Honeybook simplifies my business processes, helps me stay organized, and automates client tasks that would normally take a ton of time. It integrates and connects with my other calendar, client photo delivery software, and finances as well. I love the simple interface where I can see everything in one place. and AI suggestions help me the AI automated email responses, and they're super easy to adapt to fit my business as well. Honeybook software loads quickly, rarely experiences any hiccups, and helps me be more professional. If I have had any issues, the support team knocked it out of the park, and if they didn't support my issues, they took feedback and added it to the list of requests for the future. I really like all the branding options and that my customers experience a clean cohesive presentation of my business. I love the onboarding most of all and how smooth it is to get accounts set up. I have a honey book created contact form on my website and quite often my first contact with a client is a completed contact form, which autofills everything in their project and saves me hours. I also like the contract options and I feel like they seem legit--customers are happy to sign them and I feel a bit more protected. My business is private tutoring and so I have a lot of accounts and they stay active for a year or more at a time. Honeybook isn't set up well for this type of business. One thing that bothers me is switching between client pages takes 3 or more screen loads, and honey book often runs very slowly on both safari and chrome. Another issue is the way invoices work. There is a helpful time tracker that I love, but I can't auto create a custom invoice from it, only a simple one. I would love if my invoices could be branded and cohesive with my aesthetic. I also don't like that I can't schedule repeating appointments. This missing feature alone requires me to pay for another scheduling software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. I had sticky notes and apple notes and loose pieces of paper. I love that this is all in one place so I don't lose track of people and it also saves me a lot of time. I don't use the imbedded AI email writing feature very often, because it's very important to me to sound authentic, but the times I have used it have saved me time and streamlined my process. From the initial onboarding experience, it was clear that we were in good hands. What do you dislike about HoneyBook? One area for improvement would be the AI-powered suggestions. It would be helpful if the AI could retain and learn from information about our organization's specific catering operations, services, workflows, and policies over time. Currently, some of the suggested responses and recommendations do not align with our standard procedures or service offerings, which limits their usefulness. I like that HoneyBook has saved me time by helping me automate processes that I used to have to do on my own. It helps me with contracts, email templates, and reports for tax purposes. I have a lot of things that I feel could be improved, like the fact that you can't edit or access email templates on your mobile phone Can’t access export files as pdf Can’t send receipts or invoices without adding payment requests - some people just want info or a receipt showing items paid for Invoice creation from mobile is very glitchy I want to be able to sort the honey book calendar by bookings - like show me only the phone calls I have scheduled or show me only the sessions I have scheduled I wish honey book could color code the scheduled items onto Google Calendar as well In the scheduler I want it to be easier to bulk remove availability from certain dates - like if I am gone for a week of vacation but I still want to be able to book phone calls I want to easily go to that week and turn off everything in my scheduler availability except phone calls - right now I have to manually remove each item on each day. Sooooo Cumbersome I want HoneyBook invoice to allow payment via Zelle or Venmo with no fees I wish some of the naming conventions made more sense and were not duplicated - like why is scheduler on there twice and neither in the place that make sense? And why do I have to go to reports for my monthly download but if I go to finance I can’t find that report . Emailing people in a group is not good using hb. From a project I want to be able to add multiple people to the same project and when I email them all I don’t want they to reply to me but have to reply to all . I’d also like to be able to cc people on projects when added later Also the email log system is messed up. Sometimes when I reply from Microsoft office the reply does not get captured in the hb project and sometimes it does. No pattern . I’d like the option to have booking in my timezone of my business and not the time zone where I am. Google allows me to turn off timezones and make it set to my hike time zone - this way if someone books a session with me two weeks out it books in my actual time zone and not the time zone I am physically in in the time of their booking. It's all the business admin tools I need in one (I have a service-based business). I love having it all in one place and for one price. On top of highly useful admin tools, the Templates and Automation features have been absolutely key for me because I can provide a really positive, consistent product and customer experience with very little energy or time (and I am just a team of one). They are always improving the tool as well, with even more helpful features that small businesses/consultants actually need. What do you dislike about HoneyBook? There are still some glitchy functionalities that haven't been fixed, despite a lot of other improvements they've made. Most of those glitches that actually cause inconvenience are in the Scheduler - if you add to the calendar description, it sends a notification to the client but words it as being "rescheduled," and this has caused confusion for my clients. Also, within the scheduler, adding time off or removing availability for random days is not very easy.
