**What do you like best about Homebase?**

I like how easy Homebase is to use and navigate. It's very simple to explain to new team members how to operate it. It makes communication with other team members easier. Homebase is very simple for viewing and creating schedules. I really love the feature where you can shout out employees for doing exceptional work. It's very easy to get comfortable with the system as it is just laid out and given to us.

**What do you like best about Homebase?**

I like that it has multiple features in one platform. For example, I found that I could not find a communication tool, payroll, HR and scheduling platform all in one.  Homebase is the only platform that does it all.  It is also really easy to use and understand.  My staff also love that it shows how much money they make each shift.  The Onboarding is easy and customer service is also so helpful.

**What do you dislike about Homebase?**

Like all platforms, there is a learning curve.  I feel like I could better optimize how I use the platform and could benefit from some 1:1 tutorials that are specific to my business.

**What problems is Homebase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving Payroll - It is so easy to complete payroll. I review timesheets and the calculations are all done within the system.  I love how easy that is.  I use the HR function for background checks. I use the messaging for team discussion.  It is all encomassing.

**What do you like best about Homebase?**

I like that I'm able to add each of the students in separately, which makes it easier to manage them. I also appreciate the ability to tag students with their school programs, which helps keep everything organized. It's convenient to be able to put in their schedules, including their preferred times. The initial setup of Homebase was very simple, which got me started without any hassle.

**What do you dislike about Homebase?**

I think it would be beneficial to have a different format for creating a report that allows to be clearer to see the hours accumulated.

I use Homebase to track students' clinical hours and handle clocking issues. It helps create reports to share with schools. I like adding students separately and tagging their programs. A clearer report format would improve seeing hours accumulated.

**What do you like best about Homebase?**

I love using Homebase for work. It's a great app. The communication feature is very useful, allowing me to reach out to coworkers and talk to management easily. I appreciate being able to input my unavailable days and adjust my schedule whenever necessary. This makes it much easier to coordinate my schedule with others. I find value in not having to log in or write things down elsewhere, as everything is managed conveniently in Homebase. The initial setup was fairly easy, taking me only about two minutes.

I use Homebase to manage my work schedule, communicate with coworkers, and contact management. It simplifies scheduling by allowing me to log unavailable days, make changes easily, and keep everything in one place without needing to email or use other tools.

The mobile app doesn’t have the same functionality as the website. It would be awesome if I could update schedules by department in the mobile app as well!

I like how easy it is for employees to clock in and out for work and break, and how I can easily make adjustments to the timecards if needed. This makes it easier for me to create payroll. The initial setup of Homebase was also easy, which I appreciate.

There is nothing that I dislike about Homebase.

Homebase solves the issue of employees punching a timecard. It allows employees to easily clock in and out, and I can make adjustments to timecards, simplifying payroll creation.

I really like that Homebase is very user-friendly for both myself and my employees, making shift covers, swaps, and time off requests seamless. It makes it easy to handle unexpected call outs, even on the weekends. I also love how Homebase makes keeping an eye on employees' scheduled hours per week a breeze, helping to avoid payroll compliance issues and ensuring a fair distribution of available hours to those who want them the most.

**What do you dislike about Homebase?**

It would be helpful if, when a new time off request came in, it included the names and dates of other employees' time off that would overlap it, at a glance. Also, having all of the 'premium' features temporarily unlocked made it difficult to move back to a lower product tier later on.

Homebase streamlines scheduling by centralizing information and using the 'Recommend A Schedule' feature that does 80% of the work. It's user-friendly for managing shift covers and swaps, and helps monitor employee hours to prevent compliance issues.

Scheduling is quick, employees can clock in and out without confusion, and all the communication stays in one place instead of blowing up my phone. It helps me stay on top of attendance, timecards, and any issues before they become bigger problems. When you’re managing multiple employees and job sites, having something this organized and simple really makes a difference.

One thing I don’t love about Homebase is that it can feel a little limited when I need more detailed reporting or customization. Sometimes things don’t sync as smoothly as they should, which can cause small communication hiccups. It works well overall, but I’d like a little more flexibility for how we operate.

I use Homebase for scheduling and payroll for my company. I like the functionality and the vertical menu, which is a huge plus because it keeps the entire workflow visible at a glance. I don’t have to dig through multiple layers of tabs to find what I need, which saves me time and keeps me focused on managing the team rather than fighting with software. The tutorial emails really add value by keeping me updated on features I might otherwise miss. It feels like ongoing support that comes to me, rather than me having to seek it out, which has made mastering the platform much more seamless. The initial setup was incredibly easy to follow, with tutorial emails facilitating the process.

Something that could help would be SMS notifications for team members. This way they wouldn't forget to input their data and keep up to date.

I like Homebase for scheduling and keeping track of my hours and pay. I find it keeps all my hours and pay in order, along with my scheduled shifts, and keeps me on track. What I like most is its accessibility and how easy it is to manage everything at once. Publishing schedules is great, and being able to track all of our clients is helpful. It's not chaotic or hard to manage; it's very straightforward and to the point. The initial setup was super easy, and it's super easy to navigate.

**What do you like best about Homebase?**

I like the ease of setup for staff. I am able to enter roles, wages, and time off profiles quickly and efficiently. I can set up different time off packages for staff based on seniority, sick time off, and PTO. We use Homebase for our employee scheduling, time off monitoring, and weekly time sheets, and it's helpful for monitoring clock-ins to gauge tardiness.

**What do you dislike about Homebase?**

What doesn't work is holiday pay. It only lists holiday pay as an unpaid time off option. The time off portion of the program has unpaid time off with vacation, holiday, and a few other items listed, and it has PTO and paid sick leave as separate time off options. Employees are often confused about how to request their time off because they assume that vacation is a paid option. However, if you select vacation, it automatically falls under Unpaid time off rather than PTO. Initially, it was a little confusing, but we managed. There is definitely a learning curve.

We use Homebase for employee scheduling, monitoring time off, and weekly timesheets. It helps us monitor clock-ins to gauge tardiness. I like the ease of setting up staff roles, wages, and time-off profiles efficiently.

I use Homebase to fix my schedule and my team's as I am a supervisor. I like its accessibility and that it's easy to use. The initial setup was very easy as I just signed up with my work email and created my profile without any trouble. I also appreciate how straightforward it was to get started.

I find it difficult to see my time sheet and schedule clearly on my phone, and I don't know how to find it unless I'm on a computer. I would like to be able to access it easier on my phone.

Homebase is a local startup, based in San Francisco. From the start they have only tried to make small business like mine succeed. There EE scheduling system is by far one of the most friendly user, interface we have used.

**What do you dislike about Homebase?**

Nothing at this time. Oh maybe they should offer tours of the HQ. Would, love to meet the staff that has done so much for us.

**What problems is Homebase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Homebase is great for scheduling. But a few years ago, they add the Payroll system component. We absolutely love how easy it is and how much it can do. It competes with the big companies as ADP and others. We will never leave Homebase!

**What do you like best about Homebase?**

I like that people can always see their schedule, and it's updated on the fly, so they always know what's going on. They can see when their next shift is and keep track of the hours they've worked. It allows employees to request days off automatically, and I can approve it, plus they can swap shifts with other employees without needing my involvement. I also found it very easy to get the employees set up. Another thing I liked was being able to copy the schedule week to week and make changes as needed. There were just a lot of great tools in Homebase that I didn't feel anything needed changing.

I like that Homebase allows employees to trade shifts, and I can approve them. This feature saves me from having to manage everything manually, which reduces scheduling mistakes and minimizes additional work for me. I also appreciate being able to manage employee time-off requests easily. The initial setup was pretty easy, as it just required data entry, which was straightforward.

I wish the cost was a bit less. Hard to justify the expense to the owners which is why I only have the lowest tier. I would like it if I could manage paid time off in the tier I'm in.

I really like the payroll and GPS timesheets features in Homebase. The schedule is easy to read, which is a big plus for me. The reports are good and I can easily export data into our accounting system. Our managers can quickly put together payroll runs every two weeks, and it works fantastic. The initial setup of Homebase, transferring from WhenIWork was a very smooth process.

The auto schedule builder is really handy as it learns the most common shifts and suggests those times. Our workers also really like the schedule reminders sent to their phones. The scheduling process is super fast and efficient because it learns common times and staff and suggests filling it in. I also find the copy and paste feature useful for easily making new schedules. Setting up Homebase was super easy; I was able to add all staff in about 30 minutes.

I use Homebase for creating our staff schedule, and I find it really easy to use. I'm impressed with its easy template and interface, which allows our staff to see their schedule from anywhere. I appreciate the feature to select a specific position for each staff member each day, along with the easy auto-fill options. The initial setup of Homebase was very easy.

I don't like that Homebase does not integrate with Bamboo HR, which we also use. A cheaper monthly fee would be nice since we only use the scheduling feature.

I'd like there to be more opportunities for team members to leave reviews, ideas, or comments from their shifts. I'd also love to see little inspirational messages when team members clock in. I'd like updates on when inventory has been done or a way to track inventory. I'd also like the ability for the team to complete quizzes through Homebase, like knowledge checks on cafe operations.

Its starting to get a little bit expensive for just the scheduler side. I think we have gone up about $30 a month since we started. I believe we started around $45 and are not at $75.
