Hodor: the permission and policy engine for AI agents. AI agents are now part of daily work. They read SharePoint, post in Slack, update Salesforce and query ERPs. But most agents act with their user’s full access rights, and no one defines what the agent itself is allowed to do. For CISOs, AI teams and IT leaders, that creates a new security gap: unmanaged agent permissions, no visibility into agent actions, and no way to stop one that goes too far. Hodor closes that gap. It is an MCP gateway and policy engine that sits between AI agents and enterprise applications, bringing zero-trust security and identity and access management (IAM) to agentic AI. How it works: Agent identity: every AI agent gets its own identity, linked to its human owner and purpose and synced with your identity provider. Least privilege, or least agency: permissions are scoped per tool and per task, always within the user’s rights and company policy. You can do it via our platform or directly via our MCP Admin. Real-time policy enforcement: every tool call is checked before it reaches a business system. Unauthorized actions are blocked, and a single kill switch stops any agent. Audit trail and observability: every agent action is logged with who, what and why, and streamed to your SIEM. Data protection: sensitive data and PII are tokenized before they reach the model. Broad coverage: 250+ connectors, MCP and OpenAPI support, and compatibility with any LLM, AI assistant or agent framework. Built for regulated enterprises. Hodor helps organizations deploy AI agents with confidence while meeting compliance requirements such as DORA, NIS2 and the EU AI Act. It runs on European sovereign cloud (Scaleway), or on-premise. Hodor is ISO 27001 certified, and ISO 42001 (AI management systems) certification is in progress. Who uses Hodor: security teams, AI and platform teams, and CIOs at large enterprises and scale-ups, along with the consulting firms, integrators and managed security providers (MSSPs) who deploy it for their clients. Get the upside of AI agents, without the risk.
