Although HokeyStack is a relatively new product, it is quite mature in terms of features and design. The main feature of this software is cookieless tracking, which is important especially in the lights of the IOS 14 update. HockeyStack offers a simplified solution for those who seek to analyze the user activity on their websites. The product also provides actionable insights which help you make decisions based on facts, not assumptions. I think this analytical tool is a simplified version of Google Analytics but has a lot of features that you typically want to track on your website. For instance, you can see the source of traffic, which devices users use and where they drop off from your site. To use the software, you just need to add a lightweight code to your website. Yes, just one line of code. The site performance and page load speed are almost not affected. You can set custom actions that users trigger and it is displayed on your dashboard. All in all, this product is great for optimizing conversion rates, SEO and marketing as well as UX. The step-by-step user journey within your website is a great feature as well. The public roadmap is very promising as the team does their best to provide weekly or biweekly updates adding new features and fixing the bugs. It is that type of software that you can not really complain about. The team rolls out so many features and keeps adding more to their roadmap. Of course, some minor bugs may appear here and there, but the team quickly resolves all issues. What I would really love to see is more team members per plan, but it is my subjective opinion. It’s really one of a kind and the insights they give you is really, really good.

eg: I can filter people who spent more than 3 mins on my website and checked out our silicone bibs.

Then I can click on each of them and see person A went to check out one of our products as well (scrolled for 60 of the page), checked out our blog post about Y (scrolled 40%), added which item to cart etc…

It shows me exactly what I need to see. It discovers powerful insights that I didn't even know about. It concentrates on highlighting the insigths and information that I neeed to run my business and website, rather than presenting me with lots of raw data that I need to then process to arrive at the core information I need. The other huge benefit has been the friendliness and accessibility of the founder. He is always excited to hear about new ideas and if they make sense they are added to HockeyStack within days or weeks....just try to ask Google to add new features and see how far you get ;-) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some features are on their way but not there yet. To be fair, I don't know of other products that have these features, but I know that they're coming, so it's frustrating until they arrive. Recommendations to others considering the product:

HockeyStack takes the approach of cookie-less tracking, giving "actionable insights" rather than heat maps which are "nice to have." The result is that HS does a better job in helping to improve conversion rates as you get data you understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
