The offer we got from them is tailormade to our needs and I got the feeling, that they truly understand the needs our NGOs has and do their best to help us reach our vision. Whenever they develop new products they ask for the insight of customers, this is amazing as you can tell them what you are looking for from the very beginning. Working with HiveBrite feels like working on a team and not like a normal Customer-Service Provider relationship. Their Alumni management tool is easy to use and through their branding options you can customize your platform to an extend that users will not easily realize that the software is outsourced. I would recommend all NGOs to work with HiveBrite. **What do you dislike about Hivebrite?** Development of new features takes longer **What problems is Hivebrite solving and how is that benefiting you?** We work with HiveBrite for about one year now and would recommend them to all any other company. We have an assigned account manager who consults us on the plans we can use and helps us to implement new products. They also have a great tech-support team that is available 24/7. What I like most about Hivebrite is that they tailor their offerings to your individual needs. We use their alumni network tool and it is very user friendly and easy to understand even for people with limited technological knowledge. When they develop new features they contact the clients who requested the features and ask for their needs and design requirements. All in all it is a more than pleasant experience to work with HiveBrite. ### 9. Being able to synchronize with LinkedIn is an added value. User friendly, great design, intuitive back office and a great post sales service. We are a network of universities around the world and each of the Deans & career staff that evaluated the tool was impressed. Its a great way of putting together users with different profiles: staff, students & alumni. The jobs tab is great. **What do you dislike about Hivebrite?** I think the "news" tab could be improved by adding more design and more ways of displaying info. Your suggestions as a user to improve the software need to be ranked as interesting by other users before being implemented. I think that regardless the votes a suggestion has a good idea/suggestion should be always taken into consideration. **Recommendations to others considering Hivebrite:** I will recommend it because of its great design and impressive amount of tools. **What problems is Hivebrite solving and how is that benefiting you?** Hivebrite tool is helping us to organize events, and keep a tight bond with out alumni. It raises the network effect and helps us to interact globally. As it synchronizes profiles automatically with LinkedIn (when people sign in) it saves time to the users so they don't need to recreate their profile into the app again. ### 11. We use it for our national student organization and its easier to use due to integration with LinkedIn, so we don't have to put all the information and profile pictures again. **What do you dislike about Hivebrite?** The user experience for the app is not cutting edge modern. I like the idea of the software because it lets you create a profile, add friends and connections, upload files but it feels so forced and unorganic. It's not very fun to use and does not make me come back again and again unlike other networks. One of the suggestions would be to improve the recommendations. To do this, the software could nudge the users to fill the information like university name or even email to match them with other users from the same organization. File management is also a big area of improvement. If they are able to improve it, it would be very helpful in sharing files with the sub-groups within the network. **Recommendations to others considering Hivebrite:** It is a great product if you want to bring every one of your dispersed members on the same page in a private and controlled environment. **What problems is Hivebrite solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a student organization, our need was to get everyone of the student members from tens of different campuses in a secure, private social network where we could share files, connect and hang out in a controlled way. I love the searchable directory feature because it has such robust search features that are customized by the admin. Search results are displayed on an interactive map. Seach fields come by adding additional fields to the user profile most of which are customizable. User responses on their profile can be clicked on to find other users with the same interests. Also love the media center feature that functions as a dropbox and now allow users to upload as well. we upload a lot of files, videos, and images. We learn a lot about our users by their interactions and we receive this information through backend analytics. The backend admin experience is easy as well! great integrations such as google anayltics and suvey monkey. **What do you dislike about Hivebrite?** While there are many great features that are significant limitations. The biggest is that the platform isn't responsive to mobile - which all the features are the same, they often appear crunched or cut off on the app. Display images aren't responsive to the zoom of the screen so they often get cut off. Can not search media center by keyword. No notifications for the livefeed so a lot of content gets lost. **Recommendations to others considering Hivebrite:** Hivebrite staff is super attentive and always there to answer questions and re-teach tutorials.
