"Effortless Recognition That Boosts Team Morale"
5/5
What do you like best about HiThrive?

HiThrive is a fantastic tool for boosting workplace morale and engagement. Its biggest upside is how easy it makes recognition, whether it’s celebrating milestones, sending shoutouts, or rewarding achievements, it helps workers feel valued and connected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HiThrive?

While HiThrive offers strong recognition tools, there are a few areas where it falls short. The platform’s reliance on integrations (like Slack or Teams) can feel limiting for workers who don’t use those tools regularly, making recognition less visible or impactful. Some employees also find the rewards catalog too generic, with limited options that don’t always feel personalized or meaningful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quick, fun, and impactful!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about HiThrive?

We’ve been using HiThrive for over three years, and it has truly become an integral part of how we work. I use it multiple times a month to recognize teammates, and it always feels quick, fun, and impactful. The platform is exceptionally user-friendly, requiring no training, and it takes less than 30 seconds to send recognition publicly or privately. I love being able to highlight effort on new or challenging projects and add a fun gif to make it personal.

The Slack integration is another huge plus. Having HiThrive configured directly in our workflow makes it so convenient and easy to use. There's no need to log into another platform, it’s right where we’re already communicating. The rewards catalog is broad and offers something for everyone, and the visibility it creates helps maintain consistent and meaningful recognition across the organization. What do you dislike about HiThrive?

The only thing I’d change is the rigidity of the point values. Currently, we’re limited to preset amounts (100, 250, 500, 1000), which can sometimes make it harder to balance or ensure that all points are used each month. Having the ability to enter custom values would give more flexibility and make recognition feel even more tailored. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Transforming Remote Team Culture with Seamless Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about HiThrive?

I appreciate HiThrive for its significant role in fostering a positive culture within our remote work environment. It is an excellent tool for sending compliments and recognizing the efforts of colleagues, which helps in creating a greater work atmosphere. The integration with Slack is particularly straightforward, making it convenient for my team to use daily. The feature of attaching our company's core values to messages when we send them amplifies how we stay aligned with our organizational goals, and this integration of values gets naturally absorbed over time. I also love the option of sending gifts within the platform, which adds a layer of meaning and fun, making expressions of gratitude more engaging and impactful. Additionally, the customer support is phenomenal, addressing issues swiftly and efficiently, as demonstrated by the prompt five-minute resolution I experienced. Overall, HiThrive is perfectly suited for remote companies and plays a crucial part in maintaining our company culture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about HiThrive?

I use HiThrive to shoutout good work and recognize people who help complete tasks. I like that it's easy to recognize and be recognized with points that go along with the shoutouts. Having a system to give and receive points for good work incentivizes me and others to pursue excellence and help each other. I think it has a very seamless integration into Slack, making things extremely easy to use company-wide. The initial setup was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Lightweight, flexible employee recognition with fast setup and responsive support."
5/5
What do you like best about HiThrive?

What I appreciate most about HiThrive is its clean and intuitive user interface, which allows teams to give kudos and redeem rewards effortlessly, without the need for training. This simplicity leads to quick adoption across various departments. The platform’s automated nudges, birthday and anniversary reminders, and integration with Slack and Teams help keep recognition visible within daily workflows, encouraging greater participation. The customizable points-based rewards and catalogs enable administrators to set budgets, manage approvals, and offer local reward options tailored to different regions. Additionally, the reporting features highlight engagement trends by team and manager, making it easier for leaders to identify cultural strengths and areas where recognition may be lacking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HiThrive?

The analytics features are helpful, though I wish they offered more depth when it comes to cohort comparisons and provided additional exporter options for BI tools. While there are native integrations with Slack, Teams, and HRIS, support for other systems is limited, so connecting to more specialized platforms often means relying on webhooks or Zapier. The reward catalog is well-stocked in major markets, but there’s still a need for more local gift choices in some smaller regions. Setting up granular role permissions for complex organizations also requires extra configuration during the initial rollout. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use, Great for Team Recognition"

What do you like best about HiThrive?

I like that HiThrive is easy to use. It allows my coworkers to give bonuses and points if they appreciate the help and work I'm doing. People can see who is doing a great job and give a visible thank you. I also value the features like feedback, points, comments, and gift cards, as they are beneficial to us. Setting it up was not a problem at all, and I use it through Slack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HiThrive?

I prefer it's single sign. Because I need to go to a special web page to a different UI to sign. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
