**What do you like best about Hire with Near?**

I was genuinely impressed by Hire with Near's website, our initial call, and their fee structure. The quality of the candidates and the hiring process really stood out. Hire with Near successfully resulted in two hires. They opened up new opportunities for us in Latin America, helping to scale our support team with bilingual reps for our growing Spanish-speaking customer base. Having a tracker to view new reps and communicating via a Slack channel was very valuable—giving us quick responses and turnarounds instead of lengthy email threads. I appreciated how easy the process was. I quickly received great candidates and follow-up options, which included candidates with broader experience better suited to our needs. The additional support in the interview process was also helpful.

While one of the candidates ended up having relevant industry experience, it'd be great to be able to lean more heavily into industry expertise. This is more an opportunity for growth than a critique.

**What do you like best about Hire with Near?**

They took a managed approach to identifying all of the requirements we had for the role and then presenting us with a short list of candidates to review. Once we decided on a candidate to hire, they are acting rather like a temp position staffing company where they send us an invoice and we pay it. All of the background stuff and International stuff is handled by them.

**What do you dislike about Hire with Near?**

They do charge a recurring fee that you'll be paying for the entire time you are working with one of their placed people... unless you opt to "buy out" the contract, which amounts to paying for the fee for a year. It gave me pause because I thought you had to make that decision up front and hope the person works out if you want to pay the fee upfront. Turns out you can go a few months and then do the "buy out" - problem solved.

They made the whole process very easy and waled us through everything. I suppose having clear requirements upfront is good, though they'll get those established via a few web meetings anyway.

I needed to fill a specific role in the org (full-time accountant to be specific) that I didn't really have the bandwidth to take on, Hire with Near conducted interviews with me to get the criteria for the role and then found the candidates.

I had a great experience with Hire with Near. They provided a very fast and robust system that was detail-oriented. The onboarding process was very simple, and they downloaded the information we wanted from a candidate and provided top-tier results. The candidate quality was better than expected, making it harder to decide who to hire. I'm excited to continue working with them and look forward to hiring more people using Hire with Near. They helped find a candidate who streamlined our work, had years of experience we thought weren't possible to find, and addressed the challenges with previous team members. I appreciate that they help with the payroll system for candidates and employees abroad, which takes away a lot of administrative headaches. I also value their attention to detail, especially in hiring a candidate. They asked detailed questions, took vigorous notes, and actually delivered the results, which was great. I wouldn't change anything about their services at this time.

Easy to work with, quick, prompt attention to the requests, and roles were filled quickly with excellent talent.

Not much to dislike. They are a 5 star service. But If anything, there could be more prepping of the candidates on the interview about what should and should not be discussed.  We were asked by the candidate about the salary for the position.  Our understanding was Near set those prices (we were provided with ranges the candidate was looking for), but candidate asked if they should talk to us about increasing it (we thought the "ask" came directly from Near).

Do it.  Great near shore talent pool and Near clearly knows how to find great talent.

Near identified candidates for our virtual paralegal and legal assistant roles for our law firm.  Near was able to identify excellent candidates and we found great candidates (and hired) from their provided candidates.

I appreciate how Hire with Near finds high-quality talent and conducts a good vetting process, making it feel like they are an extension of our HR team. They were able to find talent that I couldn't on my own, even after trying LinkedIn and university boards. Their hires drive productivity, results, and help us meet our KPIs. I find their good communication, with responsive emails and easy calls, along with an adjustable recruiting process, particularly valuable. The majority of hires brought with Near worked out well, and I don't doubt their ability to find the right person for our business needs.

I found Hire with Near to be incredibly valuable because they provide very skilled and highly reliable candidates who are some of the best I've worked with. I love that they offer video interviews along with the candidates. They are extremely attentive and responsive, placing candidates very quickly. Their ability to present high-quality candidates and place them in a role within weeks, sometimes days, is impressive. They also help if anything arises during an employee's tenure; for example, they helped us find a quick replacement when needed. I appreciate their cost-effectiveness, offering highly qualified candidates at a much lower entry point than hiring equivalent candidates in the US.

Honestly, there isn’t much I would point to as a downside. If anything, aligning on scope and time expectations for candidate assessments required a bit of back-and-forth but that was collaborative and ultimately helped ensure we were evaluating candidates fairly.

Overall, the experience was smooth, communicative, and well-managed, and I felt supported throughout the process.

The candidate we ended up hiring was much higher caliber than we'd expected, with a depth and breadth of experience that surprised us. We didn't explicitly look for it, but we also ended up really appreciating the time savings for our tiny, overburdened team. Hiring takes a lot of time and energy, and working with Near really lessened that burden.

The recurring fee did give us pause, especially as it's a fee that we'll keep paying for the entire time we work with the candidate we hired through Near, and does represent a significant portion of the cost of the (part-time) position.

I like the quality of the applicants they brought, which was impressive compared to those provided by another recruiting company I was using simultaneously. Additionally, they were friendly and responsive, making the whole process easier and more pleasant.

It's kind of expensive. That would be the only change that I would suggest would be to be more affordable.

When we had feedback, it was immediately incorporated into the next round of candidates, which made things move very quickly. I also like their responsiveness and flexibility in tailoring our search to what we needed.

It was difficult to get things up and running in the beginning. There were delays in communication that made me think they weren't going to put a lot of effort in the search, and I was proven wrong!

Get your attributes / scorecard / criteria and non-negotiables in a row before going to them. They don't provide a ton of support on defining the role, but are really good at getting strong people once you've provided the outline. They are receptive to feedback, so provide suggestions early on to ensure they are getting you the type of person you need.

Near helped us fill a senior accountant role that we desperately needed to fill. We were presented a handful of candidates and found a superstar who is helping us level up.
