My personal favourite is using it when someone I believe to be a strong candidate has been rejected, I do Hinterviews with them to discuss the points the client felt they were weak on, and it gives them a chance to talk about what makes them strong in that area as well as everything they already covered at interview. So even though they might not be interested in discussing the role etc. further, at least you're usually guaranteed a reply from them and know where you stand. **What do you dislike about Hinterview?** Not fully comfortable myself using video yet, so don't enjoy how time consuming it can be sometimes trying to get the best video to send. **Recommendations to others considering Hinterview:** Try not to think too much about what you're going to say before you start recording your message. Have a general idea but don't stick to a script - it comes across better when it's natural. **What problems is Hinterview solving and how is that benefiting you?** Business problems it helps with is helping the recruitment experience for the client. Helping them maybe carry out less interviews than they would have previously, as they can have that interview experience with Hinterview, without taking time out their day to conduct all the interviews. We've had a number of other account managers that have struggled to connect with our business and culture which has affected the embedding process and therefore the success. Charles' attentive, expert approach (even though he's not been doing it for long) immediately got high levels of engagement from EVERYONE (including those that were adverse to the idea of being on video). He has been very consistent in his approach, very knowledgeable of the platform, responsive (more responsive than anyone I've dealt with.. ever!) and super helpful. **What do you dislike about Hinterview?** It can take a little time to trim videos and reload. Downloading and uploading videos can take time too ( I imagine this is internet/band-width related too). It's challenging to figure out how best to utilise the tool company-wide. Everyone is different and so rather than over-encouraging everyone to fulfil the same tasks, one on one strategies are definitely needed. It's not a "one size fits all" platform but it's not necessarily a bad thing. Reporting - there are areas in the background you can see analytics on: Campaigns, Candidate Questions, etc. Just Hintros and Hinterviews. **Recommendations to others considering Hinterview:** It's an amazing platform and easy to integrate into the way your business works and saves time, energy and money. I'd recommend ensuring you get the Customer Success Manager that fits with your company culture and is effective in implementing the platform within your business. Whilst it would be great to have these, they are not essential. And Hinterview has always taken on our feedback on board and gives this to the product development team. These features aren't in now, but we have been told they are in the development pipeline for future platform upgrades. We also send updates to some clients via video now too - this has been very well-received. The Hinterview facility is also great for global projects where you cannot easily get out to first stage meetings in person.
