It has everything one can think of A to on connections, a simple and clean interface, excellent documentation, and advanced but easy-to-set-up alerts. My favourite feature is the dbt integration. What problems is Hightouch solving and how is that benefiting you? We use Hightouch exclusively as a reverse ETL solution. We precalculate some critical metrics in our warehouse. Pushing those metrics to tools like Salesforce unlocks our team to see the data where it is needed instead. of using a plethora of tools. I used it to sync data between Airtable and Google Cloud, and it was straightforward and fast to set up. I just had to connect my sources and destinations, define my SQL model, and map my fields. It needs some improvement to clarify what needs to be done and how to do it since it is a tool that aims to help people without much programming knowledge. Hightouch helped me to sync the Airtable easily with the google cloud. With that, my database was constantly updated, and I could use it with various tools, such as Power BI. The UI in Hightouch from my first impression is very easy to navigate -- I didn't need to search around much documentation to learn how to set up our account. The one issue I had with setting up my sync was an issue on my end -- I hadn't set the proper permissions in our redshift account for the table we wanted to sync. However, the error message I was receiving in Hightouch didn't indicate that it was a permissions error we needed to fix -- the error message was more along the longs of "something went wrong". We primarily use Hightouch to push new fields from our database into Iterable, which we previously needed engineering resources to do. The best part is that a business user can now easily write a SQL query to accomplish the same task. The UI is extremely intuitive to use and we haven't run into any issues yet. There have been cases where we need to add a field to an existing model after syncing once. It would be nice to be able to remove the previous sync from our Iterable event stream instead of having both the original and updated fields remain on the user account.
