I like the speed of the tool, as well as the ability to password protect files when sharing. I also like receiving a receipt to indicate that the files were sent and received. I also like the simplicity of the platform. It serves the purpose of what I want to do without distractions. **What do you dislike about OpenText Hightail?** While I find this platform to be easy to use and very functional, I have been met with comments that people find it frustrating to have to download the link in order to view its content. I have had a few issues with trying to download the link when I am working remotely, but am always able to eventually get it open. For larger files it is $15/month or $144/year. We like that we do not have to email files from Hightail; we take the link and include it in our email that we draft in our email inbox. For sending files, Hightail was once a decent way to go-these days, I only use it because a customer want to do so-otherwise I would easily and happily use a competitor. Thankfully this is free, but so many other competitors are also free to use, so only go with this firm if you must do so (or maybe because your customer has some sort of affinity for using it over the product(s) service(s) of a competitor). **What problems is OpenText Hightail solving and how is that benefiting you?** Moving larger files from point a to b (and possibly to points c-z). ### 8. This is a great idea, quick easy sharing of any ideas simply with an address. Option of security is also good. **What do you dislike about OpenText Hightail?** There is not much to dislike, for the most part the UI is straightforward. Perhaps browsing forward and backwards to different locations could be better designed. Password protection? The recipient receives an email with the download link, and the instructions are straight forward. **What do you dislike about OpenText Hightail?** To the person who is the recipient, the shared files expire about 2 weeks after the files have been sent. The recipient has to download the file within the 2 week window. **Recommendations to others considering OpenText Hightail:** Download their app, you can access files from your mobile device. I accidentally ended up making a personal account once because I didn't realize I had to use a specific portal to log into. **Recommendations to others considering OpenText Hightail:** I would recommend making it clear how to access hightail from personal computers. Sometimes it is difficult to figure out how to log on.
