Pros:
- Easy to install on any WordPress site (Just need to download and install)
- Fast and easy to use (There is the setup wizard to guide you along)

- Not working correctly with some of the page builders (For example, there are specific issues for Elementor)

I love how many options Hide My WP Ghost offers you when it comes to protecting your website, from Brute Force Attack Protection to Changing Common WP Paths. There's extreme flexibility in deciding which ones you want enabled (or disabled - ex: we're using WordFence so we have those overlaps turned off). I also really like the built-in Website Security Check so you have a general idea of what some potential vulnerabilities are. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One downside is that there is a slight learning curve. You have to familiarize yourself with what exactly some of these settings do because sometimes there may be conflicts with existing themes or plugins - so be sure to test on a staging site first! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the fact that this works by hiding the WordPress footprint, this is great because more than 50% of the websites today are using WordPress, so there are thousands of ways to attack it. If bots and hackers don't know that your website is running on WordPress, they don't even try to hack it :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's not mandatory, but it recommends turning off XML-RPC, but it doesn't say that doing this might affect API services. It's an easy fix though, just a notification message should do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best is that it goes through a list of things that I need to work on simply. I am not a tech guy and am sometimes overwhelmed by all the jargons used to prevent our sites from being hacked and this plugin simplifies the entire process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
