Honestly, what I liked best was the optimism we had at the beginning of the relationship. We genuinely believed Hibu could help our business and wanted the partnership to succeed. What do you dislike about Hibu? What I disliked most was that accountability seemed to disappear when our concerns became well documented. Despite extensive communication, analytics reviews, and independent audits, we never felt our concerns received the level of investigation they warranted. The issue was never that results were guaranteed—it was that legitimate concerns were repeatedly dismissed instead of being meaningfully addressed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Hibu solving and how is that benefiting you? Ultimately, the greatest problem Hibu solved for us was teaching us to independently verify marketing performance rather than rely solely on vendor reports. We partnered with Hibu in good faith and spent months working directly with them to resolve major issues before going public. Unfortunately, accountability disappeared once the problems were clearly documented. Bear Impact Roofing invested over $6,200 in Hibu’s Local Ranking SEO program and Hibu One. While Hibu controlled our website and tracking number, our business virtually vanished from search results—often past page 20. We received zero legitimate leads. Our dedicated line was flooded with spam, forcing us back to door-to-door canvassing. Once we dug into Google Analytics and Search Console ourselves, it became clear that the numbers in Hibu’s quite impressive looking dashboard did not align with actual Google data—nowhere close. We shared before, during, and after traffic graphs with them, yet they have consistently avoided providing any meaningful explanation. It raises serious concerns about how their dashboard metrics are generated and presented. We compiled analytics, obtained three independent audits, and delivered a 40-page evidence packet. Under Hibu’s management, our site saw just 32 visitors over 4+ months (versus 1,427 in the prior 3 months). Over 120 pages had duplicate metadata, crippling visibility. Hibu acknowledged our documentation but made no adjustments and took no accountability. They blamed snowfall and noted they don’t guarantee leads—missing the point entirely. What disappointed us most was the lack of honesty and responsibility when faced with clear evidence. After exhausting all reasonable efforts, we’re sharing this so other business owners can avoid the same mistake.
