
It's a really simple, intuitive tool, which fits in really well with our company values. It's easy to administer and customise, new employees love the look and feel of it, and we have a high adoption rate with our existing employees. Managers love having quick access to information about their team, and we all love the way time off is so easily managed, especially the way it can update people's calendars, giving us all visibility of who's off. We use Bob for shout outs and new employee announcements and for nominating employee of the month. I wish the e-signature process was more comprehensive, and I also wish that it could be possible to keep historical information on employee benefits, particularly private medical insurance, as we need that information for end of year P11Ds and currently have to store those details outside the system. The service that we have received from HiBob's support team has been outstanding. Speedy responses, useful screenshots or step-by-step instructions for more complicated questions, and always a very personal interaction. When there are more complicated issues, the team pulls out all the stops to help us to find a solution.

The lack of updated emojis.
Seems like an unimportant complaint, but in this day and age with so much communication includes emojis, and with a very young staff base, Hibob's emoji stack is far too basic. I have had many complaints from staff about the limited emoji library. They are here to stay and should be considered an important part of fun communication resources. Hibob combines the core HR functions into one simple to use online platform. The holiday tracker is the most obvious example of a vital administrative function which needs to be managed well for the benefit of the staff and the company, but there are a number of much more sophisticated functions which enable you to really get the best out of your staff.
We have embedded the performance/goals function into our company culture which means our staff engage with Hibob on a weekly and sometimes daily basis. The survey function is another simple to use but vital tool for tracking company culture by region.
It is also a very useful tool for unifying our staff across multiple locations - all staff can easily search through the company directory to find out a bit more about their colleagues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have any major dislikes but some of the functionality has scope to be advanced, upgraded over time. i.e. in the performance function a more nuanced approach to measuring key results progress rather than just a % slider would be helpful for all staff. Easy to use, a lot of flexibility - they give a great platform that includes everything together (Data, Reporting, Performance, Survey, Time Off, Attendance, Documents signature) - covers all aspects and you don't need an technical expert to manage it or a lot of other different platforms around it to complete it - it brings great value as a stand alone HR platform.
As the HR team we can manage most of the processes that are needed by using Bob.
Also they improve and evolve on a monthly basis and it's great to be using a platform that you feel the additions and improvements on regular basis - it helps us the HR team to keep an open mind and always review the additions and changes and how can it also improve what we are doing. Need more focus and capabilities in analytics (but I know it's coming :) ).
Each feature separately is not expert level - The platform brings great value as it covers a lot of aspects - but if you compare it to an expert platform on the subjects - it's not the same level (Survey platform gives better value than Survey feature in bob, analytics platform give better value than insight in bob, etc') - it's great value is the fact that it brings it all together and can be the only platform you use in HR (excluding recruiting).
