It instills a form of praise in the workplace and makes it a pleasant surprise when a taco is received. I think it also boosts morale when people are continuously stating nice things about staff members, the taco is just the icing on the top **What do you dislike about HeyTaco?** I dont believe there are really any downsides to the taco system. Only thing I could think of is if when it's integrated with slack we can see inside the channel a few more prizes to give to each staff member instead of tacos. **What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's solving the problem of staff members not praising each other continuously. It doesn't feel forced in anyway, it's a genuine conversation that is happening between all colleagues ### 4. There doesn't seem to be a place to view gifts you have given out or received. Also, one receives rewards when they level up - a super taco or a taco tree - I don't like that it doesn't add to the recipient's points when you gift it (should be worth 2 tacos, at least). When this can turn from a virtual kudos to a physical cup of coffee from their favorite local coffee shop, you feel like a better colleague and on the receiving end, it's not to see something tangible (occasionally) in a virtual world. **What do you dislike about HeyTaco?** I wish that we had a bigger budget (not a taco company problem!) for Tacos so we can 1) Give back more 2) Give back specific things that we know our colleagues would want. Still, for some of our more pedantic folks I would recommend allowing it to be a bit easier to deep dive and learn about what some of the bits and pieces are for or mean, even if they're just for fun. **What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?** HeyTaco is helping solve the kudos, pat on the back, congratulating, and thanking that can become difficult for remote teams. It gives us a great outlet for our employees to give meaningful thanks. Our folks have become competitive in doing a better job just to receive tacos, which we all find really funny. It also gives our coworkers who may be in the background, but just as important and needed, a chance to be in the spotlight and show that appreciation that is due. I also love that should your company choose to, you can redeem those Tacos for rewards - it gives them an actual opportunity to be rewarded yet again for their hard work. **What do you dislike about HeyTaco?** The one part I wish HeyTaco allowed was for participants to possibly "buy" more tacos from their rewards (for example 1.5 received tacos for 1 add'l taco) if they felt they wanted to. Some days I may want to give 10 Tacos out - but only have five. Or possibly to let us parlay unused tacos up to a certain amount, for example, a 20 taco limit (without there being add'l charges to the company). **What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our team is international, and with the vast difference in time zones, this gives us a great opportunity to say, "Hey - we see you and appreciate you!" to those we may not be able to talk to daily. Every day, we each get five tacos that we can allocate to other team members. I love showing my appreciation for them in a public forum. We get competitive looking at the leaderboard and seeing who's given the most tacosโ€”even scheduling tacos to send over the weekend so we can keep the appreciation going. It's also a fun milestone to reach 500 tacos and be able to cash them in for huge gift cards - or cash them in for smaller gift cards along the way! **What do you dislike about HeyTaco?** The only downside to HeyTaco is that there are only five tacos to give out per day. There are certain days where we have company-wide meetings and there are TONS of people to recognize, but never enough tacos.
