## HeyTaco Reviews
 ### 1. Tacos, not just for eating anymore

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** DeAnna R. | QA Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2022

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

What I like best about HeyTaco is how it encourages team appreciation in such a fun and lightweight way. It’s simple, but meaningful—being able to give a taco with a quick message of thanks or recognition helps build a stronger, more positive culture without feeling forced. It makes people feel seen, and I love that it gives everyone, from the quiet achievers to the daily rockstars, a chance to be celebrated.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

I hate to run out of tacos.
One thing I dislike about HeyTaco is that it can sometimes feel transactional or superficial if people use it to give out tacos without a meaningful message. While the intention is great, without context or sincerity, it can lose its impact over time. It would be helpful if the platform encouraged more thoughtful recognition or had gentle prompts to add context when giving tacos.

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving gratification to fellow employees.

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> Thank you so much for the thoughtful review — we really appreciate both the praise and the honest feedback.

We love hearing that HeyTaco feels fun and meaningful for your team. Creating a lightweight way to help people feel seen — from quiet achievers to daily rockstars — is exactly what we aim for.

Running out of tacos is intentional 😄 The daily limit helps keep recognition thoughtful rather than automatic.

And you’re absolutely right — the message is what gives a taco its meaning. We design HeyTaco to encourage sincere, peer-driven appreciation, and your feedback about adding gentle prompts for more context is a great suggestion.

Thanks again for helping us keep recognition authentic and impactful. 🌮

 ### 2. HeyTaco boosts team morale and is an excellent way to show appreciation to coworkers across depts.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

HeyTaco integrates seamlessly into the Slack software, and the many different ways to "gift" tacos make it easier than ever to send appreciation and shoutouts to team members, from messaging tacos to sending stickers to leaving taco emojis on others' messages. I appreciate the monthly taco reports, too, which focus more on how many tacos a person gives than receives -- it's a great reminder that the purpose of these tacos is to lift up and celebrate one another. It has been a great app to use for my team.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

HeyTaco is a great app and platform; my staff has a taco rewards shop, which can only be accessed through the browser version of Slack. It would be nicer if the rewards shop could be accessed directly on the desktop version of Slack, but otherwise no complaints!

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HeyTaco allows for an easy-to-use, effective integration of cultural values into workplace communication, especially in showing gratitude and appreciation.

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> This made our day. We love how you called out the many ways to give tacos — messages, stickers, emoji drive-bys — because recognition should meet people where they already are, not require a special ceremony.

We’re especially glad the monthly taco reports resonated. Focusing on giving rather than receiving is very intentional for us. It’s a gentle reminder that recognition isn’t about scorekeeping — it’s about lifting others up and reinforcing the behaviors and values that make teams thrive.

On the Taco Shop access: thank you for that feedback. You’re right — today it lives in the browser version of Slack, and we know having it available directly in the desktop app would make things even smoother. Feedback like this helps guide where we invest next.

Most of all, we love hearing that HeyTaco helps integrate cultural values directly into everyday communication. When gratitude shows up naturally in the flow of work, culture stops being a poster on the wall and starts being something people actually feel.

Thanks for being such a thoughtful taco champion 🌮✨

 ### 3. A Fun Way to Celebrate Small Wins, Visible, and Fun

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

What’s most helpful about HeyTaco is that it makes appreciation simple and visible. It encourages small, frequent recognition instead of waiting for big moments, which helps build a positive team culture. I also like that it feels lightweight and fun, so giving recognition doesn’t feel forced; it becomes a natural part of the day.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

One thing I don’t love about HeyTaco is that sometimes it can start to feel routine, and the recognition becomes more habitual than meaningful. When that happens, it can lose a bit of its impact. It works best when people take a moment to be specific about why they’re giving appreciation.

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HeyTaco helps solve the problem of recognition getting overlooked in day-to-day work. It makes appreciation quick and visible, so small contributions don’t go unnoticed. For me, it’s motivating to receive acknowledgment from teammates, and it also reminds me to recognize others more consistently. It helps create a more positive and supportive team environment overall.

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> This is such a thoughtful reflection — thank you for putting words to something many teams feel 🌮💛

We love that you called out small, frequent recognition. That steady drumbeat of appreciation is exactly what builds culture over time.

And you’re absolutely right about the “routine” risk. Any habit — even a good one — can start to feel automatic if we’re not intentional. A few ways teams keep tacos meaningful and fresh:

Encourage specificity. A short “for jumping in on that client call yesterday” makes recognition land much harder than a general shoutout.

Tie tacos to values. Many teams connect tacos to core values so appreciation reinforces what matters most.

Create light rituals. Taco Tuesday themes, monthly highlights, or rotating “gratitude captains” can bring new energy.

Model depth from leaders. When managers give thoughtful, detailed tacos, it sets the tone for everyone else.

HeyTaco works best when it’s a tool for real appreciation — not autopilot recognition. We’re glad it’s helping create a more positive, supportive environment for you, and we appreciate you highlighting what keeps it impactful.

Thanks for helping keep the taco economy meaningful 🌮✨

 ### 4. Makes Shouting Out Co-Workers Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Colleen S. | Senior Strategist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

Being able to s/o my co-workers is really valuable. I think that, sometimes, as a society, we can forget to give positive feedback, so it’s great to have a Slack extension for it right in our workspace that keeps it top of mind.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

I think one downside to using Hey Taco is that you can’t give a taco to multiple people at once. It would be helpful to allow a small cap—maybe 3 or 4 people in a message—so that if several teammates are mentioned in the same message, they can all receive a taco.

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Positive Feedback, Knowledge of Accomplishments across teams in the company

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> We love this reflection — keeping positive feedback top of mind is exactly why HeyTaco lives right in Slack 🌮💛 Those everyday shout-outs add up.

On giving tacos to multiple people: good news — you can already do this! 🎉
You can tag multiple teammates in a single message and include the taco amount, and each tagged person will receive that number of tacos.

For example:

Tag 3–4 people and add “1 taco” → each person gets 1 taco

Tag the same group and add “2 tacos” → each person gets 2 tacos

If you ever want to give different amounts to different people, sending separate messages keeps it clean and intentional.

We’re especially glad to hear HeyTaco helps surface accomplishments across teams — that visibility is a huge part of building connection and appreciation at scale.

Thanks for sharing the love and helping make recognition a daily habit 🌮✨

 ### 5. HeyTaco encourages peer kudos and creates a culture of appreciation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer K. | Senior Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

HeyTaco lets our team send kudos in a tangible meaningful way. It encourages and awesome team culture where kudos are encouraged and rewarded with gift cards or donations to our Team's favorite charities. It's a pretty awesome program and I would argue some of the best internal peer award systems I've seen.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

Not much to complain about sincerely, love it!

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Morale and Culture; 2 things that are hard to manage even if your leadership is doing everything right. Creating an approved space and system to give each other praise is such a huge boon to morale and makes everyone feel appreciated and included.

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> Wow — thank you for such a generous review. We’re truly honored by your words.

Hearing that HeyTaco is helping create a space where kudos feel meaningful (and not just performative) is exactly why we built it. Pairing peer recognition with options like gift cards or charitable donations is meant to amplify appreciation — not replace it — and it’s amazing to see that balance working for your team.

You’re also absolutely right: morale and culture are hard to “manage” directly. Our goal has always been to make recognition something the team owns together, not something that lives only with leadership.

Thanks again for being part of the HeyTaco community — we’re lucky to support teams like yours. 🌮

 ### 6. A Fun, Public Way to Give Kudos—Stickers Make Sharing Tacos Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

It's a public way to give kudos to a coworker and I like that stickers simplify giving tacos to multiple people at once. It's nice that tacos are also tied, if in a very minor way, to a potential real life reward.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

I don't love how obtaining stickers is obfusfacted. I wish I better understood how to get them, because running out of stickers after a big project launch or a team event is kind of sad, because I only get 5 a day

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It just feels like a nice thing the company is doing for us as a remote-first company. I don't know if there are specific, defined problems being solved

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> This is such a thoughtful review — thank you for taking the time to share it 🌮

We love that you called out the public kudos piece. That’s exactly why HeyTaco exists: recognition shouldn’t live in DMs. It should live where everyone can see it, pile on, and feel it. Especially on remote-first teams where those small moments matter more than ever.

And yes to stickers making it easier to spread the taco love far and wide 🙌

On the sticker front — totally fair feedback. They’re intentionally earned (not unlimited), but we hear you that the “how” can feel a little mysterious. The goal is to keep them meaningful, but never confusing or frustrating — especially after a big project launch when the gratitude is flowing. We’re always looking at ways to make unlock energy clearer without turning it into a math problem.

Thanks again for sharing your experience. And may your next big launch come with fully stocked stickers 🌮✨

 ### 7. A Simple Yet Powerful Way to Appreciate Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kavya K. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

I love how HeyTaco turns everyday appreciation into something fun and meaningful. The Slack integration is super smooth, and the taco rewards motivate teams while strengthening company culture

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

So far, I haven’t encountered any major drawbacks. HeyTaco works smoothly and delivers exactly what it promises

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HeyTaco addresses the lack of everyday appreciation at work by making it simple to recognize teammates. This boosts morale, strengthens relationships, and keeps teams engaged.

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> Kavya, thank you for your review and for being a part of HeyTaco!

 ### 8. Fun, Meaningful Acknowledgements That Help Coworkers Feel Appreciated

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jimmy A. | logistics ops manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

It’s fun to give acknowledgements, and it helps my coworkers feel appreciated.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

the sticker program was nice but has to be discontinued due to errors

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

no problem but good to give the team shine

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> We love hearing that tacos are helping your team feel appreciated 🌮💛 Giving teammates a little shine never gets old.

On stickers — totally fair. Stickers are optional, and some teams choose to turn them off if they want to keep things simpler or focus purely on taco recognition. It really comes down to what fits your team’s culture best.

The good news is that admins can always revisit that setting if the team decides they’d like to bring them back in the future.

Thanks for sharing your experience and for being part of such a thoughtful, appreciative team 🌮✨

 ### 9. Encouraging Recognition That Highlights Unsung Team Members

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristen S. | Temp Dentist Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

It is encouraging and it allows you to recognize people who may not typically be praised

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

While HeyTaco is fun and easy to use, it can sometimes feel a bit limiting. The daily taco cap, limited customization, and fairly basic reporting make it harder to scale or tailor recognition in a way that feels truly meaningful for larger or more complex teams.

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Community and connection

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> Thank you for such a thoughtful and honest review 🌮💛

We love that you called out recognizing people who might not always get praised — that’s one of the most meaningful impacts of peer recognition, and exactly the kind of community-building we care about.

We also really appreciate the feedback on limits, customization, and reporting. You’re right to call that out — and we want you to know it’s being heard. More robust analytics and reporting are on our roadmap, especially to better support larger and more complex teams that want deeper insight into how recognition is showing up across the organization.

HeyTaco is intentionally simple at its core, but we’re always working to evolve it in ways that add clarity and scale without losing the human, feel-good nature of recognition.

Thanks again for taking the time to share this. Feedback like yours directly shapes where we invest next 🌮

 ### 10. HeyTaco Makes Team Recognition Fun & Easy, but Some Rewards Feel Paywalled

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

This year, our team began using HeyTaco as a fun way to recognize each other's efforts by giving out “tacos.” These tacos can be exchanged for rewards such as free coffee, office supplies, or even a half day off. One of the most meaningful rewards, however, was the opportunity to donate to charity. The person who contributed the most tacos to this charity fund got to choose where our donation would go. In my opinion, HeyTaco is valuable not just for fostering company recognition, but also for building a sense of community.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

I'm not a fan of the fact that some of the prizes involve LinkedIn posts, mentorship, or conversations with company leaders. It doesn't sit well with me to see opportunities like these placed behind a 'pay wall.'

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hey Taco is helping us stay engaged as a remote company and keeps us connected. It allows us to recognize each other and maintain morale with the redemption prizes.

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> Thank you for such a generous and reflective review — we love hearing how your team has used tacos to recognize each other, support charity, and build a real sense of community 🌮

We also really appreciate you sharing your perspective on certain reward types. In HeyTaco, rewards are intentionally customizable and defined by each company. Some teams choose experiential or leadership-related rewards as a way to create access and connection, while others prefer tangible items or charitable options. There’s no “right” mix — it’s about what feels aligned with your culture.

We’re especially glad to hear HeyTaco is helping your remote team stay connected and engaged. Thanks again for the thoughtful feedback and for using HeyTaco in such meaningful ways.

 ### 11. Best Gamification Service—Drives Engagement and Rewards Every Contribution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oleg S. | Technical Architect, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2025

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

This is the best gamification service, helping our community engage in new and exciting ways. We truly appreciate all our active members, whether they are asking questions or providing answers. Every contribution counts, and in our community, tacos are the perfect currency to express that appreciation.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

When someone responds to a question and includes other people in their message, the taco is given not to the person who actually answered, but to those who were mentioned or tagged in that message.

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a community, we want to recognize and reward people for their active support, and Taco is the best way we've found to do this.

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> Thank you for such a generous review — we love how you’re using HeyTaco to recognize and reward contributions across your community 🌮

You’re absolutely right to call out that behavior. Tacos are given to the people explicitly mentioned in a message, which is intentional — it gives the sender full control over who’s being recognized. In situations like Q&A threads, a helpful tip is to mention only the person who provided the answer when giving tacos, so the recognition lands exactly where you intend.

We’re really glad HeyTaco is supporting engagement and appreciation in your community, and we appreciate you sharing such thoughtful, real-world feedback.

 ### 12. Perfect Tool for Team Recognition and Encouragement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie G. | Content Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

I really appreciate as a way to encourage my coworkers and give and receive recognition.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

Genuinely nothing, It's a great tool we use.

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to give and receive recognition among my coworkers. I helps keep morale up and really highlights the wins(big and small) of the company.

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> Giving and receiving thank yous makes work more meaningful! ❤️

 ### 13. Great for Encouraging Positive Communication and Appreciation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam M. | QA Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

It is great for encouraging positive communication and compliments so that people feel appreciated.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

I am not typically one to need or want compliments that feel forced or just to use up their tacos.

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simply to make sure that everyone is recognized for their work in a fun way.

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> Thank you for sharing this — it’s a really thoughtful perspective 🌮💛

We love that you called out positive communication and appreciation. That’s the heart of HeyTaco.

And we completely agree with you on this: recognition should never feel forced. Tacos aren’t meant to be used up just because they’re there. The daily limit exists to encourage small, frequent appreciation — but it’s always optional. Some days you might give five. Some days you might give none. That’s okay.

The magic happens when tacos are tied to something specific and genuine — a thoughtful assist, a quiet save, a behind-the-scenes effort. When it’s real, it lands. When it feels obligatory, it loses impact — and we definitely don’t want that.

We’re glad HeyTaco is helping make recognition visible and fun on your team, and we appreciate you highlighting the importance of keeping it authentic. That’s what keeps the taco economy healthy 🌮✨

 ### 14. A Fun, Meaningful Way to Recognize Colleagues with Tacos

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rosalie C. | Customer Success Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

It's super fun to send tacos to colleague, and to receive them. And it makes you pause and think about who deserves some praise, and tell them, which I likely wouldn't have done otherwise.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

Not much, maybe I wish I could also send tacos to my customers (I'm a CSM), in addition to peers?

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a remote-only company, its one of the ways that help enforce our team spirit. And it's benfiting me personally because it's boosting my own morale when getting tacos

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> Sending tacos your customers is a fun idea - we are taking it to the drawing board! Thank you for the love 🌮

 ### 15. A Great Way to Recognize Colleagues and Reward Their Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hernan A. | Insurance Biller, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

I like it because it serves as an excellent way to acknowledge colleagues and offer them a benefit for their assistance and support

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

There are none that I can think of for now

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

On my Org it's used to reward team mates

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> Thank you for the review and love! 🌮

 ### 16. A Low-Friction Way to Spread Good Vibes Every Day

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ellen E. | Copywriter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

Such a low-friction way to spread good vibes all day, every day.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

I'd like to provide my work pals with burritos as well.

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HeyTaco is helping coworkers feel more connected even in a remote working world.

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> We’re so glad you called out the low-friction good vibes — that’s the dream 🌮✨ Recognition should be easy enough to happen all day, not just when someone remembers during performance review season.

As for burritos… listen, we respect them. We really do. But tacos and burritos have a long-standing rivalry, and in this house, tacos run the show 😉 They’re lighter, faster, easier to share publicly, and way better suited for spontaneous bursts of appreciation. Burritos are more of a private, two-handed commitment.

Most importantly, we love hearing that HeyTaco helps teammates feel more connected in a remote world. That daily drip of recognition is exactly how distance starts to feel a little smaller.

Thanks for being on Team Taco — we’ll keep the good vibes flowing 🌮💛

 ### 17. A fun and effective way to recognize teammates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel Alberto J. | Fraud Analyst, Marketing and Advertising, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2025

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

I love how HeyTaco encourages peer-to-peer recognition in a lighthearted and engaging way. It has strengthened our team culture and helped everyone feel appreciated. The integration with Slack is seamless, and the daily use makes recognition part of our routine.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

There’s really nothing I dislike about HeyTaco itself. However, I would love to see more reward options available in Mexico. For example, having a digital rewards card that works like a debit card would be a great addition for redeeming tacos locally.

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HeyTaco helps create a culture where asking for help doesn’t feel like a burden. The recognition system encourages collaboration by rewarding teammates for their support, making people more open and willing to help each other. It has improved our communication and strengthened our team spirit.

 ### 20. HeyTaco Makes Shoutouts and Team Appreciation Simple and Fun!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

I love that HeyTaco makes it simple to give quick shoutouts and rewards to teammates who help out—it’s a fun way to show appreciation and build team morale.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

I don't like the kinds of prizes you can win and how many points it takes to win prizes.

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of feedback and reward systems. It benefits me as I have an avenue to reward my team.

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> Thank you for sharing this — we’re so glad HeyTaco makes it easy and fun to give shoutouts and boost team morale 🌮

We appreciate the feedback about prizes and point values, too. Rewards in HeyTaco are fully customizable and set by your team’s admins, including what’s offered and how many tacos are required. If you’d like different options or adjustments, your admins can update the Taco Shop at any time. And if you’re not sure who that is, feel free to reach out — we’re happy to help connect you.

Thanks again for taking the time to leave a review and for using HeyTaco to support your team.

 ### 21. Employee recognition goes a long way - Love HeyTaco!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

HeyTaco lets me see the great work my colleagues are doing across the organization. It’s especially helpful since we’re often on different projects or clients and don’t get to work with each other on a day-to-day basis.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

Only thing is we use it so much, sometimes the tacos get buried!

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Good for morale, highlighting great work and a feel-good way to compliment your colleagues.

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> We love this perspective — thank you for sharing it 🌮💛

One of the best parts of HeyTaco is exactly what you described: surfacing great work across teams that don’t always overlap day to day. Those moments deserve to be seen.

And yes… when tacos get “buried,” it’s usually because a team is doing recognition right 😉 A busy taco feed is a good problem to have. The nice thing is that tacos don’t disappear — they’re always there to revisit in channels, profiles, and reports, so appreciation still has a lasting footprint even when the conversation keeps moving.

We’re so glad it’s helping boost morale and shine a light on great work across your organization. Thanks for being part of such an appreciative taco-filled culture 🌮✨

 ### 22. My Experience with HeyTaco: Great for Recognition and Team Help

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** amit y. | DevOps / DevSecOps, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2025

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

I really like several things about HeyTaco and how it's impacting our team.

It makes giving recognition incredibly easy and fun. HeyTaco is perfect for acknowledging the smaller, but still very valuable, efforts and assists that happen constantly within a team.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

There's very little I dislike about HeyTaco. It's a simple, effective, and fun tool that does exactly what we need it to do for peer recognition.

Yet I find it that once a reward is claimed (I claimed 25 Taco sweet and fun treet) so its out of stock and anyone having 28 or 30 tacos need to run for 40 taco reward. Very likely depends on ORG level thing that can be solved by increasing stock.

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It addresses the challenge of ensuring everyday efforts are recognised. In the fast-paced environment of IT, it's easy for smaller contributions and acts of help to go unnoticed within the daily rush. HeyTaco provides a simple and visible way for team members to acknowledge these efforts in the moment, preventing that "silent gratitude" problem where good deeds aren't seen.

HeyTaco actively encourages a culture of offering help and collaboration. The benefit here is a more collaborative and supportive team dynamic. We're seeing increased instances of colleagues readily helping each other, sharing knowledge, and working together more seamlessly, which ultimately contributes to a more positive and productive work environment.

 ### 23. Easy, Visible Shoutouts That Make Recognition Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

I like how easy and visible it is to give someone a shoutout.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

The daily limitation feels too low. High priority projects that deserve praise often have more than 4 people working hard.

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The visible interactions between coworkers being visible to other teams helps build an awareness and drive a culture of professional productivity and pride.

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> Thank you for sharing this — we’re glad HeyTaco makes recognition easy and visible. That visibility across teams is exactly what helps build shared awareness and pride in the work being done 🌮

We also appreciate the feedback about the daily taco limit. The good news is that admins can adjust the daily taco allowance at any time, so if your team is regularly working on large, collaborative projects, that’s something they can tailor to better fit your culture.

One of our favorite outcomes you mentioned is the “visible interactions” across teams — HeyTaco often becomes a kind of virtual watercooler, where people can see wins happening outside their immediate circle. That cross-team visibility is what really strengthens culture over time.

Thanks again for the review!

 ### 24. Fun team appreciation, but sticker sending could easier—would love to easily without leaving Slack

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

Fun and easy way to show appreciation for team members.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

Not clear how to use the stickers! Would love to be able to give a taco sticker without leaving Slack.

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HeyTaco is allowing our team to recognize each other in an easy way and with visibility to the rest of the company all in one place.

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> Thank you for your review! Good news - you can send stickers directly from Slack with slash commands :) Check out this video to see how to do that. Happy sticker giving 😻

 ### 25. Taco Tuesdays are now the highlight of our week at QA Wolf! 🐺

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca S. | Quality Operations Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2025

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

I've been using HeyTaco as both an admin and user for our fully remote team, and it's been a fantastic tool for boosting team morale and encouraging recognition across the organization. The taco system is really fun, and genuinely motivates our team members to acknowledge each other's hard work and contributions EVERY DAY!

Overall, I highly recommend HeyTaco to any company looking to build a culture of appreciation, improve employee engagement, and add a touch of fun to the workday!

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

There was a bit of confusion about how stickers are unlocked, but other than that, no complaints so far!

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HeyTaco helps us tackle the challenge of keeping our remote team's morale high and our connections strong. Since we're fully remote, it's easy for recognition to slip through the cracks, but HeyTaco makes giving appreciation quick, fun, and integrated right into our Slack conversations. It’s helped us build stronger relationships, boost team spirit, and genuinely make people feel seen and valued daily.

 ### 26. HeyTaco Boosts Team Morale and Fosters a Culture of Appreciation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

HeyTaco is a fantastic way to build morale a culture of appreciation. Our team has embraced HeyTaco so strongly and it has become a part of work that we're all excited about. It is super easy, fun, and brings so much joy.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

Honestly, nothing! HeyTaco has amazing features, is super easy to use, and our team loves using it.

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HeyTaco allows members of our team to be recognized for the parts of their work that might normally go unseen. It allows each member of the team to play a role in calling out great work and outstanding team members.

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> This truly made our day — thank you 🌮

We love hearing that HeyTaco has become something your team is genuinely excited about. When recognition becomes part of the everyday rhythm of work (and not just a once-in-a-while event), that’s when culture really starts to shift.

We’re especially glad it’s helping surface the contributions that might otherwise go unseen. Giving everyone a voice in recognizing great work is exactly what HeyTaco is designed to do.

Thanks again for being such an enthusiastic part of the taco community!

 ### 27. Hey Taco! Makes Appreciation Fun, But I Wish I Had More Tacos to Give

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erica J. | Quality Control Senior, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2025

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

I love showing my appreciation for my coworkers with Hey Taco! Giving tacos and receiving them feels like such a nice, thoughtful gift we can give to each other each day!

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

The only thing that's not my favorite is that I wish I had more tacos to give! I understand the daily allowance though.

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a great way to encourage engagement and praise for our peers and leaders!

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> Thank you for sharing this — we love hearing how meaningful tacos feel as a daily way to show appreciation 🌮

And we appreciate you understanding the daily limit — that balance helps keep recognition thoughtful while still encouraging engagement across the team. Thanks for spreading the taco love!

 ### 28. Who Needs Gold Stars When You’ve Got Tacos?

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhinav P. | Sr. Solutions Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2025

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

HeyTaco makes giving recognition feel fun, not forced. The taco limit each day nudges you to be intentional, and somehow those silly little emojis spark real smiles across the team. It’s low-effort, high-impact culture-building — and honestly, our Slack would feel weirdly empty without it.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

Honestly, not much — but if I had to nitpick, I wish there were more customization options for tacos (like themed ones for different teams or occasions). Also, ability to put more emojis when sending stickers - right now we have to use what is available in the Chrome list - would love to be able to pick Slack emojis!

But these are just wishlist items — the core experience is rock solid.

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HeyTaco solves the “silent gratitude” problem — you know, when someone does something great but it goes unacknowledged because everyone’s too busy or awkward to say it. With HeyTaco, appreciation becomes second nature. It’s helped us build a culture where kindness and recognition are visible, frequent, and even fun. Personally, it’s given me an easy, joyful way to lift people up — and as the top taco-giver in my org, I’ve seen how those little moments of praise can create big waves of connection and morale.

 ### 29. A Simple, Public Way to Show Appreciation at Work

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

I like that its a simple way to show appreciation to people I work with everyday, creates a simple way where you can publicly highlight great work that people have done

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

Sometimes a sticker will expire before I notice it

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Useful as a recognition tool

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> Thank you for your review and feedback! Fun news: stickers no longer expire! Every sticker that you earn from now on is yours to use whenever you'd like :) Feedback like yours is exactly how we shape HeyTaco, so thank you for sharing it 🌮

 ### 30. A Great Way to Show Real-Time Gratitude to Co-Workers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

It's really great to show gratitude to co-workers in real-time!

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

Sometimes I don't always to remember to give out my tacos :-(

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Help me stay connected with my team members across my organization and find out about the cool things they are helping co-workers with.

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> We love the real-time gratitude energy 🌮✨ That’s exactly what HeyTaco is built for — catching those “that was awesome” moments while they’re happening, not three weeks later in a review.

On forgetting to give out tacos — you’re definitely not alone 😊 Life gets busy. A couple of gentle tips that might help:

Make tacos part of an end-of-day ritual (2-minute “who helped me today?” reflection).

Drop tacos right when you feel the appreciation — don’t wait.

Or tie it to recurring meetings (retro, standup, weekly wins).

The goal isn’t perfection — it’s consistency over time. Even a few intentional tacos a day build a powerful culture of connection.

We’re especially glad it’s helping you feel more connected across the organization. Seeing the “cool things” others are doing is one of the hidden superpowers of public recognition — it shines a light on work that might otherwise stay invisible.

Thanks for spreading the taco love 🌮💛

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

No down sides so far, all good. will explore more

 ### 32. Perfect for Recognizing and Appreciating Colleagues

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angela I. | EMAIL & SMS CAMPAIGN MANAGER, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2025

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

It helps show appreciation to colleagues

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

limited to 5 only tacos and sometimes if you mistakenly use tacos it will not count

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IT SOLVES THE VALUE OF APPRECIATION TO PEOPLE AND IT HELP US BE MORE PRODUCTIVE

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> Thank you for sharing this — we’re glad HeyTaco helps make appreciation visible and meaningful 🌮

The 5-taco daily limit is intentional and helps keep recognition thoughtful rather than automatic. If a taco is ever given by mistake, it still counts toward that daily limit — but the good news is that admins can adjust limits if your team needs more flexibility.

We love hearing that appreciation is helping boost productivity — that’s exactly the impact we hope to create. Thanks again for the feedback!

 ### 33. A Fun Way to Show Coworkers Extra Appreciation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

fun way of showing coworkers and team member extra appreciation!

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

There are only a certain numbers of tacos per day!

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It creates a fun way to encourage teamwork and collaboration!

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> We love hearing this — fun and appreciation is our favorite combo 🌮✨
That’s exactly the energy we’re going for.

And yes… the daily taco limit is real 😉
That scarcity is actually by design. A limited number of tacos keeps recognition intentional, meaningful, and human — not something that turns into background noise or a “spray and pray” situation. When tacos are finite, they tend to land harder and mean more.

Thanks for sharing the taco love — may your daily tacos always go to very deserving teammates 🌮💛

 ### 34. Fosters Gratitude and Insight, Wish I Could Use It Even More!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

Encourages giving gratitude to your peers and shows that gratitude across our company. Gives me some great insight into how everyone is contributing! Super easy to use as well.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

I wish I could give more during the day!

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think it helps us keep a positive and motivating company culture. I really enjoy that everyone from the CEO to the newest employee on the team is aware of big wins and how people are showing up for each other.

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> Thank you for sharing this — we love hearing how HeyTaco makes gratitude visible across your entire company 🌮

And honestly, wanting to give more tacos is a pretty great problem to have 😄 The daily limit helps keep recognition thoughtful, but if your team wants more flexibility, admins can always adjust the daily taco allowance.

We’re so glad it’s helping maintain a positive, motivating culture where everyone — from CEO to new hire — can see and celebrate the wins. Thanks for spreading the taco love!

 ### 35. HeyTaco made it fun to be helpful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven B. | QA Automation Engineer, Security and Investigations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2022

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

You can download your data for Tacos Received to see what people give you the most tacos for. This is something I used to figure out what to do more of, because I figured if people gave me tacos for certain actions, they wanted me to do more of those things. It was a way of "voting" for the behaviors they liked.

Beyond the "data" side of things, I really love how it feels to give and receive tacos. Even small gestures can get recognition thanks to HeyTaco, and that's something most tools don't do well. There's always so much focus on giving feedback in a "specific" way, with templates and required core values attached, and it feels impersonal when you have to "force" the format of praise or feedback.

I love HeyTaco because it feels 100% natural and my team loves to give tacos, even when those tacos can't be "cashed in" for anything other than fun and good feelings. It's brought us closer together as a team, and that's priceless. It also brings more awareness to what everyone's doing, which is another big plus!

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

Nothing! They're fantastic, and they continue to listen to user feedback and raise the bar for fun employee engagement tools.

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have used Lattice for giving praise to team members for the full year that I've been at Immunefi so far. While it certainly does the job and lets us tie our core values to our praise, it lacks a "personal" feel. HeyTaco is not only giving us that "fun" vibe when we give praise, it also adds weight to every "thank-you" and lets us give praise more frequently for smaller things without making the praise seem grandiose or "extra". It's completely turned up the volume on gratitude in our team.

 ### 36. Taco Makes Appreciating Colleagues Fun Taco and Easy!

Taco gives you the opportunity to show your appreciation in an incredibly fun way towards your colleagues!

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

Nothing! Absolutely nothing! There is nothing I don't like with it!

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a diverse team and it allows us to show appreciation towards each other in a fun way!

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> Thank you for the love, Miguel! ❤️

 ### 37. Fun and Engaging Way to Show Your Colleagues Appreciation!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2023

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

Hey Taco is so fun! This is hands down one of my favorite ways I have seen collaboration/appreciation/and recognition be done at a company. It is also so cute and it really helps create a peer to peer recognition pipeline of colleagues giving each other shout outs!

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

Honestly, I don't have much negative to say about Hey Taco. Whenever the site does happen to be down for some reason we always get a response so quickly and everything is resolved.

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hey Taco is solving our problems of trying to figure out fun ways to recognize and engage your peers at work. It is so easy to give shout outs and so fun to give out tacos everday to people doing great work!

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> Thank you so much for your review! Glad you are having fun with HeyTaco 🌮 😃

 ### 38. Good team building, but losing stickers is frustrating.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

I like the concept of sharing positivity with the team.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

I really dislike that they remove stickers after you’ve unlocked them.

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Good for teambuilding

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> Thanks for your feedback! You might be happy to know that we have just removed expiration dates from stickers - so no more losing stickers :) Thank you for sharing this feedback with us - it is the main way we know what people using HeyTaco like and dislike, which helps us in making the product better.

 ### 39. Fun way to show gratitude

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2025

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

HeyTaco makes it easy to show gratitude to teammates. Even when you can't come up with the perfect words to say thanks, a taco will do!

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

HeyTaco has been fun to use so far. I haven't had it for very long, just a couple months, but I try to use it everyday and have had no complaints so far.

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Showing gratitude is really important for relationship building and morale. HeyTaco provides a very visible way to see what other teams are up to and the level of collaboration taking place across the company. This helps me feel secure as an employee that we're fostering a strong company culture in a remote work setting.

 ### 40. Fun Way to Show Appreciation, But Lacks Depth in Feedback

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

HeyTaco is generally a fun and positive tool for encouraging appreciation in Slack.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

A taco is quick to give but doesn’t always include meaningful feedback or specific recognition, which can limit its value.

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many workplaces struggle to make appreciation a regular habit; anniversaries or big wins get acknowledged, but smaller, helpful gestures often go unnoticed. The company highlights that “79% of employees need appreciation, so tacos help in this way.

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> Thank you for this nuanced feedback — we’re glad HeyTaco feels fun and positive in Slack 🌮

You’re absolutely right that the message is what gives a taco its real value. A taco can be quick, but meaningful recognition comes from adding context. One of the most effective ways teams strengthen this habit is by modeling thoughtful messages — when leaders and teammates include specific feedback, it naturally sets the tone for others to follow.

We’re so glad HeyTaco is helping make everyday appreciation more visible — especially for those smaller, often overlooked contributions that truly keep teams moving forward.

 ### 41. Fun Way to Appreciate Coworkers, but Daily Pressure to Give Tacos

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2025

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

It's a fun way to recognize and appreciate contributions, big and small from coworkers.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

Feeling pressure to give tacos daily as sometimes there just isn't a cause to, yet we have 5 x tacos each day that we can distribute.

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have only recently joined, and it is the first time I have come across HeyTaco, but I like it so far, and it has already demonstrated it's effectiveness in getting across appreciation amongst coworkers.

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> Thank you for sharing this — we’re so glad your first experience with HeyTaco has been a positive one 🌮

And just to say: there’s absolutely no expectation to give all your tacos every day. The daily amount is simply the maximum available, not a quota. Recognition is most meaningful when it’s genuine, not forced — some days call for more tacos, and some days don’t, and that’s perfectly okay.

We’re happy to hear it’s already helping appreciation flow among coworkers. Thanks for being part of the taco community!

 ### 42. fun, community-building, and acknowledgement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kalinda P. | Software Developer II, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2025

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

HeyTaco is a more grassroots way (compared to shout-outs from team leaders) to get everyone's contributions recognized, especially the little things like helping respond to an incident late at night, or giving really insightful replies or a teammate's questions. Thanking someone in a DM feels like I might be annoying them with the interruption, whereas thanking by publicly giving them a taco helps get them the acknowledgement they deserve, and it proves that I really mean it, because I'm using my limited supply of tacos to thank them. Tacos are fun to receive too. Occasionally someone will give me tacos for something and then a bunch of other folks pile on over the course of the day, so I keep getting notified of more tacos coming and I feel very appreciated.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

I haven't redeemed most of my tacos, because my company's Taco Shop has a very limited selection and I'm picky.

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HeyTaco helps keep employees emotionally connected during remote work. It also rewards employees for helping each other out, instead of staying focused only on the tasks that are assigned personally to them.

 ### 43. Daily Team Recognition Made Easy and Enjoyable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexis M. | HR & Talent Acquisition Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2025

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

I enjoy being able to recognize my team members daily.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

I do not have any complaints. Easy to operate.

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping peer to peer recognition.

**Official Response from Una Japundza:**

> Thank you for the review! 🌮

 ### 44. Great way to build a culture of appreciation and gratitude

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rakesh A. | Founder, CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2025

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

It's a fun, unusual and memorable way for people at our company to appreciate one another. And providing this has built a culture of gratitude at our company. The technology itself is pretty simple both to setup and to use.

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

At one of companies, we use HeyTaco in full force because we use Slack. At my other company, we use Google Chat and HeyTaco is getting built out on this platform so it doesn't have all the features. But their team tells me that they are all coming soon!

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has helped us build a culture of gratitude. And it also creates an awareness of good work happening at the company -- which is important not just for the company where the team is all remote but even for the 750 company that's spread out across a 50 acre campus.

 ### 45. Great tool to boost team morale & get rewarded!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anusha S. | Customer Success Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2025

**What do you like best about HeyTaco?**

Being able to show my gratitude with tacos when colleagues help me out with a task, or shout out colleagues for excellent work! The platform is easy to use and it's clear how to earn/spend/give tacos. I use it every day :)

**What do you dislike about HeyTaco?**

I'd love if it was possible to get gift cards instead of virtual debit cards, as they can't be used to part-pay for items online which can make them difficult to use as most things I buy are online. Would also be good to be able to claim your vouchers yourself instead of having to go through manager approval, and be able to unlock more stickers where 1 or 2 people are given 3+ tacos.

**What problems is HeyTaco solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gratitude to my colleagues + recognising great work. Also works as an extra employee perk/cash benefit!

Totally hear you on the daily taco limit. The number of tacos you can give is set by your team’s admins, so if you’d like to go back to giving 5, they can adjust that at any time. And if you’re not sure who your admins are, feel free to reach out and we’ll help point you in the right direction.

Thanks again for the thoughtful feedback!
