I was able to get up and running with this product in under 5 minutes. Simple setup. I quickly added my groups of individuals into HeyMarket and within minutes I was able to send custom text messages to different group members. I can quickly edit the contacts in the app. Sending pictures within a message are as simple as clicking the attachment button. I like that I can basically do everything that I need to do within the app. Makes sending quick messages to large groups of people quick and easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly nothing so far. I've been using the product for about a year and I have not come across anything lacking for what I use it for which is to send out text messages to different groups of employees based on roles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

*The platform is generally easy to navigate, so new users can get up and running quickly without extensive training.
*Shared inboxes allow multiple team members to collaborate on customer conversations, which is a valuable feature for customer service or teams that work together closely.

*The customization options are somewhat limited. For example, there is no way to auto-close messages sent through API. We send a lot of these messages daily, which have to be manually closed. It is time-consuming and reduces the overall efficiency of HeyMarket. There used to be a limit on how many messages you could select at a time (making this almost unbearable), but that appears to be removed thankfully. Additionally, things like deeper reporting capabilities, advanced AI-driven automation, and more robust customer segmentation could make it a much better tool. Because our team uses HeyMarket for hours, improving this would make HeyMarket much better.
*This and the one above are the most important - While we have not had issues recently, when we did have an ongoing issue where HeyMarket would break, the Support Team did not know the actual app and features. They would tell us that a feature we had been using was not an actual feature or tell us that HeyMarket was not supposed to behave that way. We were sold on the product due to those features and the app broke multiple times. Sometimes it took a very long time to get a response and it was very frustrating. For a platform designed to improve communication efficiency, better customer service with actual knowledge of the program should be a higher priority.
*Compared to other messaging platforms, Heymarket is on the pricier side, especially for small businesses. The basic plans don’t include some features that competitors offer at similar or lower price points, which is a bummer.
*The mobile app is very buggy and impossible to use.
*We have to send preview links to customers and most of the time they do not receive messages with links. Words are also randomly banned, like Russian names. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What its purpose is. It works for what they say they offer and that is texting from Pc to cell phones. - Training was fantstic and support has always been professional, fast and solid. Not a dislike honestly - it is the tool is limited in my industry to having the contact information of those you are reaching out to. We use Seekout to get that information but if Heymarket could either intigrate or provide similiar service it would be more of a one stop shop solution for what we are using it for.
