The avatar technology is what sets HeyGen apart. I trained it on my own face and voice, and now I can produce professional videos in a fraction of the time it would take to film them. For someone building an online course platform, that kind of speed and consistency is a game-changer. I created over 16 videos for my members without ever stepping in front of a camera. Also, getting the avatar to look and sound just right takes some trial and error at first. Small script changes mean re-submitting the whole video. I like that HeyGen provides a straightforward and friendly workflow, which makes it easy to use. I get acceptable results from the first trial, which is impressive. I also appreciate that it has all the tools I need in one place, removing the need for third-party services. The initial setup was very easy, even without needing YouTube tutorials, and I am quite satisfied with its user-friendliness. I have a stutter, when I get excited and talking in front of the camera is really difficult for me. HeyGen allows me to be in front of the camera and communicate clearly with my community. The UI is simple and effective, the API is useful, I just prefer the manual control, performance is very good during the week, which is when I used it most. Pricing is fair and having Avatar III as a free option really helps with headless B roll segments. Support has so far been amazing, the issues I had have all been resolved.
