## Hexnode UEM Reviews
 ### 1. Easy, Discreet Device Management with Great Value for Charities

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James F. | Service Manager - Education & Development, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Hexnode UEM?**

It makes it really easy to manage devices on our network, it is really easy to deploy and discreet for users - we've had some MDM's that are very in your face. It provides the features required as a charity to manage & deliver an efficient service. Regularly we will be applying new campaigns & device security, alongside ensuring apps are managed effectively.

**What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?**

Within our tier, app updating is very manual process. As a charity, we have found Hexnode has competitive pricing for the offer however to update things like WhatsApp, Facebook, etc, it requies an automated process which is the upper tier.

**What problems is Hexnode UEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has made onboarding staff much quicker, and we have been able to provide support. One of the reasons we got Hexnode is we have devices that people were changing passcodes to and when returning the device was effectively inoperational. It is a quick system to integrate and streamlines workflow. It's fast to use and secure.

 ### 2. Clean, Intuitive Device Management That Just Works

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Armand S. | Information Technology Operations Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Hexnode UEM?**

From an IT operations perspective, Hexnode has been one of those tools that sits in a solid “does what it needs to do” category. Honestly, that’s not a bad place to be. Easy to use, easy to configure. The most difficult part about it was getting Apple Business up and running, which is not a shortcoming on Hexnode's side.

The biggest win with Hexnode is how easy it is to get going. The interface is clean, doesn’t feel bloated, and you’re not fighting the system just to find basic functions. Compared to some other endpoint tools, it feels a lot more intuitive to manage devices from a single console, especially in mixed environments. Once you're past the struggle of Apple Business, it integrates seamlessly. Pricing is good, on-par with other RMM and MDM solutions. Have not used the AI yet, as we set up the entire enrolment and system to be set and forget. So we rarely test new features as the base does exactly what it needs to.

It runs smoohtly without any noticible performance dips. End-users don't even know it's there.

**What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?**

License purchasing could be a bit faster. Having to create purchase orders before anything happens puts a good amount of delay to our general processes. It would help if we just asked for more licenses and got billed at the end of the month.

**What problems is Hexnode UEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hexnode basically took the headache out of managing our Apple devices. It gives me one place to control everything, keeps things secure in the background, and saves me a ton of time on setup, support, and day‑to‑day admin.

 ### 3. Great support, automation and API, but occasional portal delays/issues

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dusty J. | Senior IT Systems Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Hexnode UEM?**

Hexnode has a responsive support team. We've had to open a handful of cases for various issues, and they are ready and willing to resolve as quickly as possible. One of the features in the UI I like most is the Automate tab. I am a big fan of automating as much of a deployment as we can. The API has come in handy as well for allowing other teams in our org to perform actions like Scan Device or to verify device assignment details. Their documentation is also solid.

**What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?**

The aforementioned support cases. There have been a handful of occasions where actions would queue up across the environment and not apply to the devices for up to an hour. We never truly received root cause for these, but it had the feeling of an environment issue with our portal. Like it was overwhelmed? We've also had an occurrence where all of the apps on our deployed Android devices were removed, and end users were not able to reinstall them. This impacted hundreds of devices in the field. Pretty messy.

**What problems is Hexnode UEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest advantage that Hexnode has over other competitors we reviewed is that we can utilize an on-premise certificate authority for deploying company WiFi and VPN profiles that utilize user certificates for authentication. In addition, deploying devices at scale is made simple with this platform.

 ### 4. Excellent Device Visibility and Easy App Deployment in Hexnode UEM

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zitlalic G. | IT Help Desk, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Hexnode UEM?**

What I find most helpful about Hexnode UEM is the visibility it provides for tracking devices. I also like how easy it is to install applications directly through automation or within the portal itself, rather than having to manually install each application one by one.

**What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?**

One thing I dislike about Hexnode UEM is the limitation around macOS updates. Unlike Windows, there isn’t a maintenance window that lets macOS users gracefully postpone an update. Another issue for me is that whenever I modify a policy, it gets pushed again to the device, and if the device hasn’t checked in with Hexnode, the policy just sits in an “in progress” state.

**What problems is Hexnode UEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hexnode UEM helps us manage patching and updates. A lot of users don’t patch or update their devices on their own, so having Hexnode in place makes a big difference. It’s also useful for prepping laptops for onboarding—setting up automation really helps and reduces the amount of manual work.

 ### 5. The Best MDM Solution — Powerful, Intuitive, and Truly Comprehensive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin R. | IT Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Hexnode UEM?**

Hexnode UEM is hands-down the best MDM solution I've used across my entire IT career. The unified endpoint management platform makes it incredibly easy to manage, monitor, and secure devices across iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS — all from a single intuitive dashboard. The policy configuration is powerful yet straightforward, and rolling out app deployments or compliance rules to hundreds of devices takes just minutes. The geofencing and location tracking features have been a game-changer for our field teams. Customer support is also outstanding — fast, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful.

**What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?**

Honestly, there is very little to dislike. The initial learning curve when first setting up advanced policy configurations can take some time to get used to, and the reporting dashboard could benefit from a few more customizable templates. These are minor points though, and the team seems to be continuously improving the product with each update.

**What problems is Hexnode UEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Hexnode, managing our fleet of 300+ devices across multiple platforms was a nightmare. We struggled with inconsistent security policies, manual app installations, and no visibility into device compliance. Hexnode solved all of this. We now enforce security policies across every device automatically, deploy apps remotely in bulk, and have real-time compliance monitoring. This has saved our IT team roughly 15 hours per week and significantly reduced our security risk exposure.

 ### 6. Competitively Priced, Feature-Rich Device Management That’s Quick to Set Up

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Max H. | Tech, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Hexnode UEM?**

Hexnode is priced competitively and it offers all of the features we need for our organisation. We were able to get Android Enterprise Device Management set up in under an hour. It's helped us get our devices locked down to reduce non-compliance.

**What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?**

If I'm completely honest, then only the password expiry. If admin passwords didn't expire then I would literally have nothing to complain about.

**What problems is Hexnode UEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had an issue where certain employees were using their work phones for non-compliant activities. It got to the point where it was seriously affecting our daily operations and business reputation. Hexnode enabled us to lock those phones down to stop the non-compliant activity, and productivity has increased as a result.

 ### 7. Feature-Rich and Detailed, but a Clunky UI that needs time to get used to

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Georges C. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Hexnode UEM?**

Hexnode has a multitude of features, very detailed to each and every platform that you will reply to every IT need

**What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?**

Having such a wide offer, the UI is a bit weird to manipulate, lots of different interfaces to work around to get your task done and every time you change a policy, you will get this weird transitional window where you cannot do anything else than admire it for what it is

**What problems is Hexnode UEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Safeguarding all my QA test device to my location is a wonderful much needed feature for my team. Moreover, the integration with Apple Business Manager is a dream come true to track everything back to its roots. And having a light agent won't hinder the overall performance of the device installed on it.

 ### 8. Hexnode: Easy to Customize, Cost-Effective, and Backed by Helpful Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael B. | IT Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Hexnode UEM?**

It’s incredibly easy to customize and deploy configurations. Every time I’ve needed to reach out to support, they’ve been very helpful. I’ve been using Hexnode for years, and I have no intention of switching to another solution.

**What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?**

Honestly, there isn’t much I dislike about it. It’s cost-effective and easy to use.

**What problems is Hexnode UEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an EMS provider, I use Hexnode to configure our Android tablets as a multi-app kiosk that our Medics and EMTs rely on as mobile data terminals. It ensures every device is set up the same way, which helps maintain a consistent user experience across our fleet.

 ### 9. Lockdown Tablets with Hexnode UEM

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Hexnode UEM?**

It lets us lock down what we need to have locked down on our tablets. The UI in setup isn't difficult to navigate. Once the initial setup is complete, it's easy to switch devices between policies.

**What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?**

The tiered cost. Some features we initially had were moved into a higher tier cost. To make changes to those features requires us to pay more to get the higher tier access. If tablets go too long without updating, you may need to uninstall and reinstall Hexnode to get the policy changes to take effect.

**What problems is Hexnode UEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeps our employees from accessing anything on the tablet that they aren't supposed to. It allows us to set the tablets into a kiosk mode where they only show specific information and sites.

 ### 10. Hexnode Makes Cross-Platform Device Management Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zachary S. | IT Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Hexnode UEM?**

Hexnode offers device management for a wide range of devices across different operating systems.

**What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?**

The device side struggles to update from time to time, especially if a device has been powered off for a while. The remote view capabilities are fairly basic.

**What problems is Hexnode UEM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us track and manage our fleet of different devices, making it easier to keep everything maintained.
