I also like how easy it is to install applications directly through automation or within the portal itself, rather than having to manually install each application one by one. **What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?** One thing I dislike about Hexnode UEM is the limitation around macOS updates. Unlike Windows, there isn’t a maintenance window that lets macOS users gracefully postpone an update. It does everything we need it to do. We have around 30 tablets in our warehouse locked into kiosk mode which is great. Setting up new devices in hexnode is easy as well. **What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?** We're unable to use the app switcher in Kiosk mode. We'd like the users to be able to switch between apps instead of pressing the home button and then choosing a different app. When they do this the web apps pages have to reload when they open it up again. **What problems is Hexnode UEM solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Hexnode to restrict our company mobile phones and tablets in our warehouse. There are features that you can find that can become additive additions to use. Such as ones that most people do not use hardly anymore. It is a little pricey, but worth getting. The customer support is extremely responsive and very helpful. As a developer, I can request the best way to implement some of the features that will work well with how the app will be deployed. I also have a few different environments I deploy the app against where the app has the same version number, but different environments. Hexnode support was able to update their versioning to handle this without us having to make a new version number for each environment. **What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?** Sometimes, when new releases come out, there are issues with some settings be reset that I'll have to go back in and fix. There was a recent release that I had to manually authorize the keyboard on a specific device, but I think this was because of how old and out of date the device was (It was one of our first deployed devices). **What problems is Hexnode UEM solving and how is that benefiting you?** We deploy devices in medical situations that must have the device locked down so you can only access our app or an approved app by the client. Some of our devices reside in behavioral health hospitals, so if a patient is playing with the device, we have to ensure they can't use it to do anything not approved by the client. I also really love the control I have over the device from a remote management standpoint. If there's any wants or issues, I can help the client resolve immediately without asking them to select a bunch of settings. ### 30.
