What do you like best about Hexagon?

The measurement cells can be completely customized allowing them to be integrated into the product line.

Metrology and imaging has many options that can be configured to resolve many issue that exist today in inline production.

What do you dislike about Hexagon?

Sometimes configurations are not easy to find, or know about.

Between different software there is no unified look and feel.

Due to overhead of customized cells, various equipment and so forth, bring up time was long. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Hexagon:

An overall great product when your looking at sheet metal metrology, very reliable once you have gotten though the difficult setup, and then, it usually runs non stop 24/7, without any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Hexagon solving and how is that benefiting you?

Measuring sheet metal & reporting .

Comparing CAD planned parts to measured assembled parts. This product allows to solve alot of main issues in Metrology reconstruction of 3d images today that exist in the online production cells. Common issues are image capturing noise from the stamps in the production line, or illumination from windows different hours of the day. These distortions create bad images which can be difficult to analyze. With hexagons product, teach & core view pro, many of these are resolved using the various configurations. What do you like best about Hexagon?

The interface is very friendly. It's pieces of cake to learn commands to perform simulations in limited time and processing time adds additional value to their usefulness.

"Great entry level modeling application"

What do you like best about Hexagon?

Very simple interface, very fast to learn. The application has UI mapper. Almost all in one package. Personally, I recorded many tutorials, about Hexagon, and created many commercial models, that you can still buy now online. Application very inexpensive or sometimes free at special promotions. It also has integration with Daz Studio and Second live. Preview render has the nice ambient occlusion look. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hexagon?

It is dated, does not updating anymore. Modeling technology is old, to this days. Feel like the end of this product is very near. Hexagon changed many owners and developers hands, that lead to some inconsistency in UI. Some limitation on the type of polygonal modeling.
