What do you like best about Geomagic Wrap?

Best for organic models, where you can easily generate nurbs files accurately and also edit organic models. It has the best tools for mesh editing which may diificult with any other softwares like meshmixer netfabb etc.The best of all it also helps to direct modeling on stl files like zbrush , Maya and other sculpting softwares.I also worked with geomagic design X and it is the best tool for Reverse engineering...3D systems has done a great job in created such user friendly softwares for Mesh to Cad coversion which is helping all kinds of manufacturing industries over the globe. What do you dislike about Geomagic Wrap?

Adding plugins to work with geomagic design X would help working for all type of models in a single platform.It is a bit difficult to work with stl's genereated from other modeling softwares like MAYA and Cad conveted STL's.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Geomagic Wrap?

The best part is the software itself, the capability of creating 3d models from surfaces. Other than this, unfortunately, comparing to other modeling softwares, I did not find any best part on it. Mostly I did had hard times while I try to learn how to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Geomagic Wrap?

Since the parts I had scanned were the part with a lot of details, I had a lot of problems while I try to have a 3d model. I spent a lot of time for the details. Software should be helpful for me itself, providing fast solution to the mistakes I do while I model. Giving the mistake and not suggestion solutions are not helpful. For the gas turbines, I do reverse engineering, scan those parts and produce in the facility for the increase of productivity. As I wrote previously, the software itself, is the benefit, otherwise I would not find anything best for it. They normally have a free trail going on, if it not feel free to contact them and im sure they would shoot you a free trail to make the sale. We got hooked after the free trail. Its a good software, the 3d modeling team says they really enjoyed working with the software while i was apart of the team at the medical clinic. We mostly used it in helping model electronics they designed for the healthcare sector- Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
