What do you like best about HERE Location Services?

Useful data responses. Here offers quite a few datapoints that are either not easily available, or require multiple services to aggregate elsewhere.

What do you dislike about HERE Location Services?

I've used Here.com for countless development projects. Their technical support and customer service options are absolutely abyssal in comparison to their competitors. What would otherwise be a simple recommendation to always utilize their service t urns into a guessing game of whether a particular project can afford the time that may be required for an adequate response. Recommendations to others considering HERE Location Services:

Do not use any professional or enterprise level services. It's reasonable enough to try any services on the Free plan and expand those to production use. You cannot test any Pro/Enterprise services without first paying, and subsequently not receiving support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HERE Location Services solving and how is that benefiting you?

Attempting to solve large scale routing requests, specifically utilizing their large route matrix. We have realized zero benefits, unless paying for a service that is unusable was my intention. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about HERE Location Services?

The best that I like about this package is the interface. It's just amazing that ant other competitors regardless of the quality of services. It catches the attention of the users in the first place itself. The people would automatically want to switch to this technology if advertised well. This product is growing in the market & will speed up very soon is what we all are expecting. The market will have a good option or I must mention the first option to choose from the list marketed. What do you dislike about HERE Location Services?

I dislike the publicity method. Rarely people know about this technology. In spite of having the relevant features, the product isn't working that well in the market because of the poor advertising. Additionally, the technology needs a push in the market to feed people the way they are used to of it nowadays. Gea location also needs a little push to show different types of options like a duplex. What problems is HERE Location Services solving and how is that benefiting you?

It simply solves your standing in the world. One can easily track the place & reach the destination with the help of this technology. The technology is quite amazing & would earn well for the patent holders. This product really needs a good anchor who may take it off in the way it should be. Interactive maps and high accuracy routing.

Convert street addresses to geo-coordinates and vice-versa with forward geocoding

Real time traffic flow information as overlays

Lack of or under developed 3D maps

Lack of VR support for AR/VR instruments

Great alternative to Google maps. Need good JS, apple and android developers to create a seamless integration with existing apps Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HERE Location Services solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are using its Apple and Androin SDKs for routing and navigation in our app. Here data on places and POIs is stronger and covers more options esp. for retail location. The SDK is light and seldom crashes in the B2C app. Biggest benefit is access to up-to-date info on POI and interactive navigation within our app Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
