Complicated Setup with Ineffective Documentation **Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Trina S. | Physical Therapist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026 **What do you like best about HENO?** I should say their customer service representatives were nice. **What do you dislike about HENO?** HENO made my job 10 times more difficult after switching over to it. I don't like anything about it except that their customer service representatives were nice, but they couldn't help due to unclear processes. The documentation flow is problematic, and the billing process needs improvement. Setting up HENO was not easy at all; it took about two months, and even after that, there was still uncertainty on how to use the system effectively. The initial onboarding process took time that could have been used for dedicated patient hours. There is a need for a clear structure to complete paperwork, billing, and the intake process which patient complained about being cumbersome. Visuals for use of the system like a scribe or a descriptive Loom-type video would have been helpful, rather than long descriptive sentences that sometimes work and sometimes don't. **What problems is HENO solving and how is that benefiting you?** HENO doesn't solve any problems for me. It made my job ten times more difficult after switching over to it. It was so bad, that we decided to take a 6 month hit of nearly $900/month by switching to another provider. So in other words we, paid $900 per month for Heno for 3 providers in addition to the fee for our new provider. ### 2. I did not value the tools; they are very difficult to deal with. Terrible customer service and problems with payment processing left and right. Half of the time payment processing didn’t work and it took a very long time to set up. The initial setup was very difficult and not easy at all. **What problems is HENO solving and how is that benefiting you?** HENO addresses documentation and point of sale issues in my physical therapy practice. ### 3. Tabs are self explanatory. Heno has the ability to streamline all activities into one system for the entire practice. I have been impressed with the functionality of this program. You can customize it to your practice needs. I would highly recommend this software. **What do you dislike about HENO?** Switching to a new system has a learning curve, but it does not take too long to catch onto. **What problems is HENO solving and how is that benefiting you?** Everything you need is in this system. It is easy to navigate EMR, charts, notes, etc. ### 4.
