Helpline Software is schedule-based call routing and on-call management software for nonprofit hotlines, crisis lines, after-hours support teams, and field service operations. It helps organizations make sure urgent calls reach the right staff member or volunteer, even when schedules change. Teams reduce missed calls, respond faster, and see where each call went with live call logs. The platform connects each organization’s live schedule to its phone line. It calls the scheduled responder, moves to backups automatically if they don’t pick up, and can create a callback request or alert a manager if no one answers. Helpline Software also includes scheduling, call logs, forms, text and webchat, and reporting. Unlike an answering service, it connects callers directly with the organization’s own team. Unlike basic call forwarding or shared VoIP, it follows the live on-call schedule and shows exactly what happened to each call.
