Setup is measured in minutes, not hours, with no technical skills needed, and the guest-facing guidebook follows the visual conventions of modern mobile apps, so it feels closer to a polished native app than a webpage, while remaining a plain link that opens in any browser. Each guidebook is a small website for one property, built from sections the host chooses. Some sections are ready-made building blocks: a Wi-Fi section with a scan-to-connect QR code, an interactive map of local recommendations with pins and notes, and quick links. Beyond those, hosts can create custom pages for anything at all, each with its own title, text, and images. There is no forced template to fill in; a guidebook contains exactly the pages and sections a property needs. A finished guidebook for a typical cabin opens on a main page with a photo of the property, the essentials up top, and a tappable location that opens precise directions using exact coordinates, so it works even for remote cabins without a street address. Below that, each section the host has added appears as a tile in a grid with its own image and title: Wi-Fi with scan-to-connect, check-in with the door code and parking instructions, house rules, a "how things work" page for the hot tub and fireplace, and a map pinned with the host's favorite restaurants, the nearest grocery store, and three hiking trails. Guests tap a tile to read what they need, or flip through the guidebook page by page like a book. When something changes, such as a new Wi-Fi password or a closed restaurant, the host edits the guidebook once and the update is live immediately for every guest, including guests already mid-stay. Because there is no login step, guests actually use it, which cuts down the repetitive questions hosts answer every stay. HelloGuestbook works with any booking platform. Hosts share the link in Airbnb or VRBO message threads, automated pre-arrival messages, or booking confirmations, or print a QR code and place it at the property. It fits Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, and direct-booking rentals alike.
