The nice thing about Heimdal is the fact that it enables auto updating of some very basic and favorite apps. Overall, there is not a lot that I dislike. There appears to be a few bugs in the fact that it will not remember you ran a scan. Heimdal is light weight. Very little impact on system resources. The other thing though is it's "quiet" ... it works in the background helping to sheild from threats without interfering with your work with dialog boxes. The other things that's particularly nice is that it keeps other applications up to date with the latest patches and builds, thus removing what otherwise could be entry points for system exploits. Frankly, not much. I do wish the software had a built in update button but other than that, the updates are OK to install manually and their primarly interface updates I believe anyway since their system is constantly being updated throughout the day if I'm not mistaken.
