"Essential Tool For My Small Ecomm Biz"
5/5
What do you like best about Heatmap?

As a small but growing online retailer, I must have tools that are sophisticated but easy to use, and without an IT department. It was also ridiculously easy to get the heatmap live on my woocommerce website. Within an hour I’m watching real customers being recorded. Data clarity is what I like the most. I can immediately see where people are clicking and where they’re getting confused, without having to figure out more convoluted terms of analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Heatmap?

I did have to take the price into account as a small business owner. I signed up for a lower plan but quickly upgraded because the insights I received were so invaluable. I would like to see a plan that is slightly more attractive to solopreneurs or very small teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Heatmap?

I'm a no nonsense CEO who wants to strategically grow and know the customer. Heatmap provides the means for that intuition to be realized. The visual presentation of data bypasses complex analytics reports, and shows me an undistorted impression of how we’re actually being experienced by our audience. It integrated really easily with our website and customer support responded very quickly to all my enquiries! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Heatmap?

It’s a big investment for a start up and I had to weigh it against other tools. But the immediate clarity that it gave our entire team made it an essential tool almost immediately when the value proved itself not just for marketing but the whole company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Surprisingly Helpful for Our Brick and Mortar Service Centers"
5/5
What do you like best about Heatmap?

I was at first not convinced on website tool, but our digital team said it would drastically decrease customer support calls which it has. Easy to use is great as well; I’m not some kind of big data analyst but the heatmaps are readable out of the box. Especially useful are the session recordings which we can now use as a digital CCTV to pinpoint when and where in the process the users are getting stuck, e.g. for key information such as our service center locations, opening hours, and appointment booking instructions. What do you dislike about Heatmap?

The pricing is constructed obviously towards ecommerce revenue metrics, which isn’t exactly our ultimate KPIs when it comes to facility operations. It was a bit of a struggle to justify that expense on lower overhead, rather than a direct sales lift, but the ROI has established itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Priceless for Maximizing Our Shopify Plus Themes"

What do you like best about Heatmap?

We can easily present findings to stakeholders, because data is very visually presented and the platform is very easy to navigate. I'm a Senior Ecommerce Manager and every change I make needs to be able to demonstrate ROI. I can share a video of ten people having trouble with an element and sway someone in the room immediately to fix it, because that is the appropriate solution. Heatmaps If I Run the Team With Heatmap, I can show a video of ten users but struggling with the same element and immediately have buy in for a fix. The Shopify Plus integration was plug and play, and we can connect it to our Google Ads account to actually see the quality of the traffic we’re buying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Heatmap?

The scroll heatmaps might have a slight misalignment on mobile view when it comes to dynamically loaded content, but their support is super responsive and it’ a small detail that they’re aware of. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Introducing Data-Driven CRO to Our Whole Ecommerce Team"
5/5
What do you like best about Heatmap?

The visual appeal of heatmaps and session recordings democratizes data. Pre Heatmap, only our data analysts could interpret analytics; now, our content writers, designers, and junior marketers all can access and interpret user behaviour. Integration into BigCommerece was a breeze and the ability to segment by Klaviyo segments (abandoned cart) is very useful for specific optimizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Heatmap?

I wish there was an easy integrated survey solution to go along with the visual data. Sometimes you know what the users are doing but still have to ask why. We have a different tool for that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The visual Evidence for our Optimization Assumptions"

What do you like best about Heatmap?

What sets the data apart is it’s clarity. As an Ecommerce PM, I need to justify every dev hour spent on A/B testing. Heatmap provides undeniable visual proof. It easily implemented to our Magento 2, and filtering traffic to Meta ads allows us the options to instantly check our paid traffic quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Heatmap?

The learning curve for some of the more complex functions, for example setting up custom events, was a little big hard at first. But their documentation and support team had us up and running very rapidly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"At last, a Heatmap Tool for Your Business That Speaks the Language of Money"
5/5
What do you like best about Heatmap?

As a CEO, my north star is revenue. For years I’ve seen heat-maps of click density, and scroll depth, which is all very interesting, but that doesn’t answer the fundamental question: where do we make and lose money? (Its also the only solution that directly ties user behavior to revenue results. Being able to visualise a heatmap of dollar amounts on my product pages is an absolute game-changer for our CRO strategy. The integration was shockingly simply; our team of developers had the snippet uploaded to our ecommerce in no time. The support folks have been super-responsive when we had a question about integration with our platform the one time we needed them. It’s something we touch on a daily basis to drive decisions and the features available to us — from session replays associated with revenue events to the simple filtering — makes it a core part of our technology stack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Heatmap?

Honestly for our core ecommerce use case it's difficult to find really major flaws. It’s an expensive investment, but the tool is so specialized and powerful that I definitely believe that the ROI would make it worthwhile for any store with more than just a single product or two. In the early days I would have desired more direct integrations with some of the newer ecommerce platforms, but the team has done a great job of adding to that, and the universal script runs like a charm across the board. "Critical to Understanding the Customer Journey"
5/5
What do you like best about Heatmap?

There are a lot of features crammed in to this platform for the cost. The revenue heatmaps are game changing; the ability to filter clicks and scolls by customer lifetime value segments is pure gold for a Growth Marketer. It was very easy to integrate, it integrated right into our WooCommerce site and HubSpot CRM, which helps our sales team understand how a lead was interacting prior to them having to make a call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Heatmap?

Great proposed filters though. PS: The advanced filters are so good but imagine been able to create and save our own segmentations views: that way power users like me could perform our recurrent, complicated analysis in just a few clicks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solved Our Critical Checkout Issue"
5/5
What do you like best about Heatmap?

It was easy to integrate into our tech stack. Connecting Heatmap's BigCommerce store and Klaviyo segments, now we were able to track the exact behavior of our Redditors (who were on an email list) and thus it was game on. How often do you use it? Very high; this is a daily tool for my CRO team. The customer support is perfect too, they helped set up custom event tracking rule within 1 day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Heatmap?

But if we have learned anything, it is that the business critical revenue visibility into our revenue more than makes up for this slight delay in displaying the data on our dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A GA4 Alternative for Ecommerce"
5/5
What do you like best about Heatmap?

As an Ecommerce Sales Director, I hated that I had to describe user behavior in the abstract. Heatmap's integration was super easy too we had it fully up and running on our Shopify Plus store and Google Tag Manager in under an hour. Ease of use is where it excels the junior level guys on my team are able to pull a session recording with a high value cart abandonment and immediately understand the “why” behind it without needing a data scientist to walk them through it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Heatmap?

The pricing plans can feel limiting for a rising brand. I wish we were able to have more session recordings in the mid tier plan, because we use up our allocation every month at peak sales time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
