Customer Support has been helpful as well. There is alot of side bar options and can take some time to find what you are looking for. I have worked in 9 LMS's and HealthStream's tech support is the best. **What do you dislike about HealthStream Learning Management System?** On the flip side, I have worked in 9 LMS's and I find HealthStream's structure the most confusing, frustrating, and illogical. You can't review an off-the-shelf course for content without assigning it to yourself first. The way assignments and courses work is nutty and there are ZERO resources I can give to people managers who need to engage with the LMS. I have to call HS, get info, and create internal resources and it is a time suck. I can't easily assign and group. Also, HS uses diction that no other LMS does which is off putting. My account rep is not knowledgeable and sends me to cusomter service everytime. I would have preferred just being allowed to follow How-To guides and jump right in. There are also no options for outpatient clinics only. They are helpful and customer service is excellent. We have recently started to utilize their Spanish SQ courses for our non-clinical staff. This has been a game-changer for us since the language barrier had previously left us having to host live classes with this entire population. With the interaction and easy-to-use format of the modules, we simply have to assign the modules and automate reports to the course requestors. New products always come with a meeting with the Implementation team to ensure proper knowledge on using the product as well as a support specialist to track our progress and give us tips on best usage strategies. HealthStream has become a daily affair within the departments with many of them using the My Team page all day to keep track of employee progress. Over our term with HealthStream, we have built a culture of education and have been able to benefit from this every time that TJC visits. Highly recommend. **What do you dislike about HealthStream Learning Management System?** We sometimes experience technical issues with our Analytic reports. Although they are receptive to our needs, it can take some time to resolve our Analytic reporting issues. **Recommendations to others considering HealthStream Learning Management System:** HealthStream has proven to be a trusted partner for our Healthcare educational needs. This means our staff, who are spread between many buildings and settings, can access their learning content on their work computer, at home, or on a phone or ipad. This flexibility is valuable for staff and gives more opportunities for course completions. Additionally, our staff have access to a catalog of content that they can search and self-enroll in, not just access to course assignments. **What do you dislike about HealthStream Learning Management System?** One issue with the HealthStream Learning Management System is that specialized content needs to be ordered and that sometimes causes a delay. When a staff member requests a specialty course or certification course, they are excited and want it immediately. Running reports on student learning helps us to see who is completing our modules, when and if they are absorbing the information by recording test scores. I send reports to department heads frequently. **What do you dislike about HealthStream Learning Management System?** We build a lot of our own learning modules due to specificity. I would like to see more availible learning in Pediatrics. Also, AICC zip files need revamping for other LMS to use. Healthcooneect function is not functioning correctly and tech support has done nothing to fix it. ### 49. They offer so many options for nursing education from general all around knowledge that every nurse should need but also the speciality areas. You also can be assured that the content is following the Standards of Care and is current practices. **What do you dislike about HealthStream Learning Management System?** That one a person has been terminated out of the system it no longer displays what had been assigned to the user in their "to-do" section. So if someone has been termed in error by say the HR dept then reactivated all the content that they still needed to complete is gone as if it was never assigned. Having to deal with Joint Commission it is nice to show that you made the assignment and maybe it was just the student who never finished the work. **What problems is HealthStream Learning Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is providing us with the residency program for accreditation, the preceptor program, allowing us to have ARC within our system. We love the pre assessment ability that will only provide education based on the knowledge gaps of the employee. We are excited for the checklists, we are excited to have the ability to track licensure, certifications and CE's within the system. We are excited to have the my teams dashboard, our managers are so excited for this as it gives them a quick glance at the overall standings of their specific departments. ### 50. We have had to create a manual work around for this to be sure people who work in more than one department get all of the assignments they need for both departments.
