## About HEADS Site
s CAD based software and HEADS Site has wide range of applications in Irrigation projects design of Canals, Bunds, Dykes, De-Siltation Dredging work. It can also measure Volume of Storage water in a reservoir at Dam or Barrage by recording rise or fall of water levels by using Digital Terrain Model & Contours generated by using downloaded Ground Elevation data obtained from Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) by Global Mapper from the satellite, without any field survey work. The Slope Stability Analysis provided by Bishop's method.

**What do you like best about HEADS Site?**

Being a civil engineer focused on irrigation works, I consider HEADS Site useful.  Digital terrain models and contours, developed by satellite data, can be employed instead of repeating field surveys required for reservoir volume calculation.

**What do you dislike about HEADS Site?**

It appears that the export options can be somewhat limited, and, in some cases the data format does not mesh with most commonly used engineering applications.

**What problems is HEADS Site solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using HEADS Site, mapping and measuring of areas of interest from satellite image is accomplished, thus avoiding fieldwork and estimations.  This also enables me to concentrate with the design and analysis segment on irrigation projects.
