"Does everything you think it ought to be able to and then some"

What do you like best about HCSS?

There's functionality for practically everything I need as an estimator in HeavyBid. Beyond that, the customer service from HCSS and 24/7 support is incredibly good. Every interaction I have had with support staff has been quick and helpful. I learned to use HeavyBid by watching others use it for a few days, then picked it up myself. What do you dislike about HCSS?

It's helpful to know that HeavyBid can do everything I want it to, but making it do that is not always easy. Rarely do features feel intuitive, you really need to commit to memory how to do every single thing that you don't do on a daily basis or you must refer to a help article to figure out how to do it. "Changing the construction data entry process"

What do you like best about HCSS?

What do you like best about HCSS?

I like the integrated work options so our field people can access via ipads while we are able to simultaneously use the desktop system at the office. It is nice the system on the ipad can be used offline as well and it automatically uploads the information when connected to the internet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HCSS?

We are having difficulty with extra work orders. The system in Ontario and the way the markup is calculated on our extra work orders is scaled which makes integrating it with the system difficult and, so far, it has not saved us any time and/or made this part of our projects any easier. What do you like best about HCSS?

As an IT Administrator, it is important to me that the software we use not only get the job done and do it well but also be easy to implement, easy to train with, and provide excellent customer service. HCSS does all of these things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HCSS?

While do not mind paying for great software, HCSS is consistently among the more expensive solutions that we spend our budget on. Licensing can be a headache also, especially for those of us who are transitioning from their desktop application to their cloud based offerings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HCSS solving and how is that benefiting you?

HCSS's HeavyBid and HeavyJob products work to help us win jobs and then track those jobs through completion. The mobile applications have reduced and even eliminated paperwork in the field, allowing us to easily track time and equipment hours and expense. With a properly trained field team, it becomes easy to monitor job progress, problems that need to be addressed, and stay within budget while understanding why overruns happen.
