What do you like best about HCSS?

HCSS offers many products that help through the entire process of bidding and building a project. Then ontop of that you can also increase your safety and management your equipment fleet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HCSS?

Some of the reports you want to be able to pull in HeavyBid are just not there. Some clients are requiring more breakdown when bidding and it is cumbersome to get that information out of HeavyBid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about HCSS?

The best thing about HCSS is that I can choose as much or as little information to be pulled up by the data base. It is easy to navagate the different areas of the program which allows you to move quickly and efficently look for the information you need. It is also very easy to input information into the system. What do you dislike about HCSS?

For me it is when I am looking for specific informations in our projects and it is not easy to move from project to project in the jobs section. It would be nice to be able to look at multiple projects at once like you can see all timecards at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about HCSS?

Ease for reviewing crew time cards. Crews input their time and production quantities and the following morning when reviewing them, any changes are simple and intuitive to update. HCSS integrates new cost codes very quickly so as situations emerge that require us to redirect costs to something not already built in to the job, we can have them set up before the guys in the field even enter their time cards. What do you dislike about HCSS?

I've worked with HCSS about some of my issues with using HCSS plans for marking up construction redlines and my issues were mostly quality of life changes (text box scale resetting with each use to a size that doesn't make sense for an 8.5x11 for example) and most have been resolved within a couple weeks. The new ability to carry markups between softwares has been game changing. We typically use Bluebeam for redlines for its dedicated PDF editting features, but HCSS is better for field personel working from iPads so it is understandable that it operates the way it does.

Overall, I love HCSS, my only "dislikes" come up in Plans, but again, those are me being nitpicky. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HCSS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Time cards and quantity tracking are my primary uses for HCSS. Our primary work right now is unit based, so as the field enters production quantities we can book costs for the guys and equipment directly and then compare that to the revenue we are claiming for those units and identify trends where things are or are not working and adjust accordingly. What do you like best about HCSS?

I can look on-line for an answer to my question first, if I cannot find the answer I can call and get a real human being who will either speak to me immeidately or call me within an hour's waiting time. HCSS can also send me a link to share my screen in order to help me more efficiently with my issues. They CS group members are smart, quick and friendly to work with and I trust them with any issues I have come across in my 20 years of using HCSS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HCSS?

I was very excited to use Fuler Plus. However, after testing it during our training phase it is not advanced enough for our needs in charging jobs, pieces of equipment and shop hours for all of our fueling needs. I'm hoping that Fueler Plus will continue to develop more into a payroll time card function, like E360, and use it in the near future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HCSS solving and how is that benefiting you?

In the past we've had several DIS issues with not being able to send the data to our field employees, but the IT support has walked us through our issues, every step of the way, and we were able to get our payroll back up and running in a matter of hours. What do you like best about HCSS?

ACI is a $ 150 Mil /year Company and growing every year. We do this on smaller $ 2 Mil to $ 25 Mil Projects and we dont take the risk on bigger Transportation Projects. We usually perform 40-50 Projects each year and to maintain this revenue with Growth we have to bid upwards of 250-300 Projects each year. Heavybid allows us to do this.

What do you dislike about HCSS?
