This is good fo our organization because there is a lot of information that we share across departments and using the wiki to store that information was a bit clunky. This created an easier way to keep up with changes in infromation between departments. **What do you dislike about HCL Connections?** Once I learned how to use it and became moe acclimated with it, I was no longer intimidated by it. The only thing that I don't like is that I can't color code emails from my contacts. Lol. I feel highly connected to this company I feel they can feel everything that I have a need for. Thank you IBM for being so transparent. I love the feature of instant messaging. The ability to share files in the cloud has helped my company more productive in more ways than one. The software is great for file sharing I think because you have a certain amount of power to be able to pull anyone file from the cloud as long as you know the document name. In my opinion that is a lot of power to be able to communicate in such a way to be in different avenues at one time. If you already have IBM services on premise like Email (IBM Notes) then it is possible to integrate it with cloud services and that was a NICE TO HAVE feature **What do you dislike about HCL Connections?** Some configurations or set ups could be tricky and the boundaries between the suites can be a bit confusing. Some features we asked for where still on beta testing program so hopefully they´ll come out soon. **Recommendations to others considering HCL Connections:** Do your homework before migrating or implementing. You will find IBM Connection has it all but not all suites are the same, so, you need to be sure what you are purchasing. Ask for a trail before going forward. **What problems is HCL Connections solving and how is that benefiting you?** Anyone, anytime, anywhere. We, as the IT responsible department, sponsored the adoption of this wonderful tool to give our end users a whole new experience in terms of availability of data regardless the device or the location being accessed from. ### 41.
