I feel there are better products out there. The same time chat, and the instant meeting is also very useful and out of box available. It even has a Web UI interface and auto sync feature, which helps us stay connected to everyone, and allows file sharing either on mail or chat. It allows user to customization the tool as per their need making it easy to use. Also once you are out of memory, it won't stop the incoming of messages, until it provides a notification for the same, for memory full. And even though you don't immediately clean up the space, it will allow user to receive messages. It also auto suggests the names of group or recipients to while sending a mail. **What do you dislike about HCL Connections?** The connections should be a bit more integrated into daily office life. It does not allow user to send a chat message when a user goes offline. Also sometimes if a user is on DND service, still they recieve same time messages. Some times the sync with the mailbox, consumes a lot of time. **Recommendations to others considering HCL Connections:** For keeping a track of the communications with the colleagues, we can go for IBM Connections, as we need not purchase any other tool for chat meeting and various other needs. **What problems is HCL Connections solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are using IBM connection to stay connected to our colleagues, via chat or mail, and keeping a track of all the communications and meetings over it. ### 44.
