**What do you like best about Harvest?**

It is easy for me to track time on projects for the week. I can reflect on the work I have done after the week ends. I also enjoy their chrome extension because I do not like having to log in to Harvest itself. It is always ready for me to us. The reports are pretty solid as well. You can download it in CSV to really get into the data if you need ot. Pretty awesome and would highly recommend.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

I don't really dislike anything but would like them to freshen up their design a bit. It seems a bit outdated. They can really just clean up some of the rounded buttons. Other than that, I love harvest. A great tool to use!

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

If you are looking for a simple time tracking tool then Harvest is the answer. It is simple to use and your team can easily start tracking time. They offer a free trial so it makes sense to give them a try. If you like it, use it, if you don't just stop using it.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

The most challenging thing about this tool is to be abled to use it correctly with skills. There are limitations over in-built features. Thus it is hard to harmonize with QuickBooks and demands Oversubscriptions. There is sometimes a disconnect between the desktop app and website and no offline functionality on desktop is available. Certain areas of user interface feel dated. Moreover it's a bit more expensive than other tools. More flexibility is needed around budgeting and retainers.

 ### 8. Harvest - grow your business.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher L. | Global Director of Marketing and Communications , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

I became exposed to Harvest at my current employment, and I was struck by the simplicity of the time-keeping method. It enables you to automatically track your time and spend it in various areas. It's extremely useful if customers or managers demonstrate what's your time on a work is like and why. The method for monitoring expenditures is twice as effective in tracking the precise amount spent on certain items related to the work. You may submit Harvest's expenditure sheeten, which illustrate competence, without the ability to add a wayward subtotal, instead of applying an informal table that looks outlines.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

The only problem with which I ran was that the homepage is not the latest date by design. I might prefer to navigate to a different date if it launched on the present day. I believe I would appreciate my entire time with Harvest program if it was changed. I also want a way of changing the colors of header from green, on a personal note. I also think it was cool to be customized to a certain extent.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

Try it to see why this program is valued by everyone. Highly recommend it.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem resolved was that we were unable to monitor the exact time of a particular proceeding. It was interesting to see how long I spent on certain activities with my supervisors so that they appreciate the normal rotation time.

 ### 9. Control your time with Harvest

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emma C. | Project Management Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

Currently I am using Harvest previously I was on some other software, but t it was not supporting good enough, my large business set up. I was facing many issues with invoicing and scheduling now I am a happy and satisfied customer. I have brought a team plan for me but you can also choose solo or free plan it depend on your requirements. I like the way it has organized all options on its interface.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

Initially you have to invest a great deal of time in setting up your requirements for example it is of great concern to set up expenses and rates. Because you cannot change them, even if you have to change the project on the whole. Also Harvest provides no notification if accidentally you add any financial record twice.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

Highly recommended platform. If you are looking for some time tracking software, along with advanced project management feature, then I think there are no best app other then Harvest.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is most powerful tool that provides great services. Harvest has been integrated with JIRA and Asana so it is the best combination for carrying out project management. It has saved our time that was mostly spent in making spread sheets and keeping a note book record, all these things are available at Harvest so no worries. It also sent us reminders and notifies us about the invoices now I am all tension free.

 ### 10. I can customize it the way I want to

Work was not that much easier it has made. I appreciate Harvest's team struggle that has drag it here in this highest level. No there is nothing bad with this tool it is working perfect.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

Harvest makes time tracking easier than other tools do. It is highly developed and fully featured product. If someone is looking for an excellent tool for time management I would highly recommend it.

Harvest helps us to track the spent time on projects. The customization of this tool is also a big opportunity we can manage its tool according to our need. The performance of Harvest is completely satisfying. It can be integrated in easy ways with other software. I would say it is a remarkable product.

 ### 12. Powerful time tracking platform

Harvest keeps my all projects on the right track. It is very easy to monitor team workload in efficient ways. It has wonderful features which organize my all projects. It helps me seeing the progress of all teams and notifies me about the requirements. The project scheduling feature of this tool is splendid that allows me to set up the future of my team work. It is one of the most useful solutions that has been used by thousands of users. I like its all features and functions which help me tracking time and activities effectively. Highly recommended platform for time tracking purposes.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Harvest provides simple and easy to understand interface that has kept option organized. I can easily track my work time and all activities. The cost of projects can be easily assumed. It meets my all requirements. I will appreciate its team efforts which are enhancing its features.

 ### 13. Good Simple Time Tracking Tool

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel N. | Managing Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2020

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

I love the simplicity of Harvest. I primarily use the tool to track time for tasks that I need to complete and then turn around and apply that time to clients that I will bill. I'm not sure a time tracking tool could be more easy to use. As simple as logging a name for your tasks or clients then hitting the start button to attribute time to the specific task and hitting stop and the time is logged.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

Outside of simple time tracking there is really not much else to use this tool for. I wouldn't say I necessarily dislike the simplicity but as our company grows and our client count grows I could see us seeking a more robust tool.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

If you are looking for a tool that has very robust dashboards and lots of intuition Harvest is probably not the right tool for you. However if you are looking for a very simple time tracking tool that is very easy to use then this would be great. I am at a small consultant with only a few users and clients so this tool is really all we need. Track time, assign it to a task and then use our own system to bill the client.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking time on specific tasks both internal and external. For Internal use I was trying to identify how much time I was spending completing recurring administrative tasks. Externally I needed to attribute specific times to specific clients that I am working on.

 ### 14. harvest is the best software for your projects

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Veronica V. | Asesor de cosmética, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

I really like Harvest because we can track time, reports and billing. It is incredibly easy to use, its interface is incredibly designed and makes everyday tasks very fun. I love watching the monthly bar chart grow while making sales.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

The truth is that if I had the accounting function similar to Quickbooks, I would only use Harvest for all my business functions. I should have more options for additional payments, specific payments online, but for now what it offers The harvest is enough for me.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

I recommend you try Harvest. You may be a little afraid to learn from new software at the beginning, but this software is very easy to use and you will lose the fear of integrating great software like Harvest into your company. It is very affordable and easy to use. I recommend it

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Harvest I save a lot of time, money and stress. It allows you to easily make invoices for my clients, I can send notifications and track payments. I can also make sure to keep up with each budget for each project, which does not allow us to lose money on a project. Harvest is great for small and large businesses.

 ### 15. Great Time and Income Manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Regina F. | Secretary of the Choir, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

Harvest is a great way for independent co tractors and small business owners to track their time and to invoice their clients. It is easy to use, and you can generate a report at anytime to see trends and where you can make improvements.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

At the moment there is nothing that I have issue with when it comes to Harvest.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

If you are looking for an easy to implement system that will assist you with tracking your time, tracking project costs, issuing invoices and reports then Harvest is the software for you.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have solved the problem of where my time goes. Since I provide support services for my clients, Harvest allows me to give them a breakdown of how I am using the time allotted for a particular task.

It makes me more efficient and shows my clients (and myself) if their time package needs to be increased or decreased and the benefits or disadvantages that will have.

 ### 16. Harvest Time Tracking

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamie B. | Marketing Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

I love the simplicity of the system and that I can easily modify time if needed. I like that time can be assigned to different employer projects. It is simple to use and efficient at recording the hours. the summary dashboard is nice to have so hours can be billed back to clients appropriately. We do not use robustly s I am sure there are other capabilities we don't use.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

Sometimes hard to track if my employer hasn't put the project in - would be nice if I could also make project assignments. We use it very sparingly - just to track small project hours to be able to assign the time to the appropriate companies for billing so surely not using the system enough to really know many "dislikes".

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

Might get tricky for tracking if doing a ton of projects but works well on small-scale for us. I recommend if you are a manager looking to track project time to check out the reporting features first. We don't particularly use them so not aware how easy/hard it might be to look at all employee tracking. Also, be aware you will have to make sure to add and assign projects before employees work on them, otherwise they will not be able to track their time.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps keep track of multiple project hours - as an independent contractor with multiple clients it is great to be able to assign hours to each client

 ### 17. Organization of time of each project for small and medium enterprises.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** carlos m. | Jefe de medios y comunicaciones, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

This is a very simple online tool to use with a very friendly and appreciable interface that you can clearly identify what you want to do with harvest, what I like about this resource is that it offers me many functions that know what time is used in each project and in turn in what specific tasks and ultimately with what cost to my company.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

Sometimes using harvest I have been able to notice certain errors that are in the delivery of reports is a bit tedious since an alert should arrive when the client is already well advanced and it is not so delayed in giving me that report it gives me already when it is already for finishing the project and in turn that you need to incorporate certain applications and if it would work better as asana and salck it would be a good idea to make the intregacion with these and more work tools.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

This is an excellent manual registration system that logically helps me save a lot of time in task changes; And it only costs € 9 a month in your minimum plan and contains a free 30-day trial, so I recommend it.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The benefits can be seen from time since it allows me to group time to correctly analyze the time of my project, and if my company is managed by many employees, this allows me to make the correlation to several projects at once, the report What I can get with this tool allows me to keep a more detailed account of the total hours recorded, of those hours that I register, how many are registered and how many are not, as well as the list of projects and the time that is dedicated to each one, and I also it says everything about the monetary part of that project to what it amounts to.

 ### 18. No-nonsense time tracking and analytics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alyssa R. | Copywriter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

I appreciate how Harvest is very straight-forward. Previous time-tracking apps I've used have tried to incorporate unnecessary elements, but Harvest keeps it simple with time tracking, expenses, projects and reports. I really like how I can use the timer function to bounce between working on different jobs accurately.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

Weirdly, my only suggestion for Harvest is to switch to the Sun-Sat calendar format (it is currently Mon-Sun) in the calendar-shaped time tracking input screen. This has made me mess up several times and accidentally put projects under Sunday, when I mean Monday. Obviously not a huge issue, but just a little day-to-day thing.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

Harvest seems to work great for any-size team. Using it on a small team, we are able to really track where our time is specifically going and where we need to put in more or less hours.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Harvest, I'm able to recognize how much time I am actually spending on different clients, which is often very different from what I would expect. Under the Projects tab, I'm able to visualize actually how many hours our team is spending on clients so that we can recognize where to amp up work and where to scale back. It helps make our work more balanced and fair.

 ### 19. Harvest pays for itself many times over

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

It is extremely easy to track time and then either send invoices directly or to send them to your accounting software. I can use it from any of my computers, phones or tablets to start or stop time, which is great since I'm not always at my desk. They are adding the ability to monitor Google and Office365 Calendars to suggest items to bill. Their use of APIs allows for tying into many different packages.
Additionally, on the invoices, you have the option to allow customers to pay via credit card and when your customers use that option, the accounting is basically taken care of on without further interaction from your part.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

If I have sent a customer an invoice early in the morning, I can't add additional time on that day. I simply add it on the next day.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

Due to my own bad accounting habits, I do find that I forget to invoice customers so I can go to the Reports section and select Uninvoiced and it will then show me all clients who outstanding time to bill. Allows me to quickly get them invoiced. From there, I right click on all of the invoice buttons to open each invoice in a different tab so I can quickly go through them all and don't have to keep going back to the uninvoiced report when I'm done with an invoice.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping up on my invoicing which helps immensely with cash flow. Probably the best thing I have added to my workflow.

 ### 20. Easy but hard to log in

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Madisson G. | Communications Assistant, International Affairs, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

It's easy once you understand how it is set up for your company. I am not the administrator, but I have to log hours as an employee on the platform. I was able to login with ease and once it was explained to me by the administrator I understood how to do everything that I needed to do. I like that you can start a timer and stop it when you are done with your shift. This helps to keep hours super accurate and your pay perfect.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

It is hard to login and find your specific category of time. Since there are different types of employees at my type of company we have to choose the specific type of employee and then scroll through a whole list of names. It isn't bad it just takes a bit longer and tad bit of a learning curve. I have also noticed that when another employee has the timer rolling it pops up on my phone as the app being active and uses my phone battery power. This isn't a huge deal, but it is a little bit annoying and I haven't been able to figure out how to stop it from happening.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

I would recommend for any company to do a quick how-to guide for all employees on how to use the platform. Just something short!

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Timekeeping for payroll. It is a nice way to create consistent time keeping for fitness staff (yoga). Sometimes it is hard to standardize timekeeping in that industry so it has helped keep my time keeping accurate.

 ### 21. Intuitive Functionality with Meaningful Analytics

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan G. | Principal Broker/ Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

Harvest is just about as out of the box as they come! Super easy to use and structured around a variety of real-world applications. It is also impressive how well harvest integrates with other 3rd party applications such as Trello.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

Although it can integrate with many different applications, aside from handy time tracking and analytics, it is yet ANOTHER application to keep track of! One might quickly outgrow the product or finding themselves looking for additional workarounds or plugins to complement their unique business ecosystem. This product is not an "all in one" however few are. It does what it does well. Major Improvement Needed: Projects can not be recycled or categorized into templates. It becomes a problem for the advanced user. The mobile application is good for time tracking but not for project edits.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

It is excellent for what it does-- a nice user interface, easy to set up and adopt and easy to use. If it helps you with your particular problem, then go for it! However (as always), it is important to consider your tech-stack as a whole....it is not an all in one solution yet---few actually are!

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We switched from T-Sheets to Harvest and never looked back! Harvest has allowed us to get up quickly (reducing integration time). We also now have access to meaningful profit ratio, the ability to quickly go from estimate to invoice, and easy minute by minute tracking abilities.

 ### 22. Longtime Harvest User

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Teni H. | Copywriter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

I've used Harvest for the past 5 years. It's helped me keep up with tracking my business expenses and organize my invoices. What I love about it the most is that I'm able to make the payment process easy for my clients because of Harvest's payment button that you can choose to attach to each invoice. This feature has made life easier since I can see every whether or not a client has seen an invoice or estimate and what they did afterwards.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

I think that the UI for Harvest can be a little unintuitive. For example, you would think you're able to adjust all of your settings for the account under 'Settings' in the navigation. But there are only a few simple account changes there. To make edits to the appearance or links to payment sites like Paypal or Stripe, you have to go to 'Invoices.' Plus, there are a couple of 'Configure' areas that are tucked away under 'Invoices' or 'Estimate.' The 'Reports' is a little misleading because you can view time and expenses. If you want to see reports related to finance, it would be under 'Invoices.'

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

If you're running a team, then Harvest is great to track time. While it's not bad if you're self-employed, it could be a little much. But the app is also worth using Harvest because I can track time and view invoices and expenses.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm saving time creating invoices and viewing payments throughout the year. The overview of the payments received and outstanding is extremely helpful to give me a top-level look at what's going on.

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

Consistently creating updates to raised serve their wide selection of users
Allows for a good quantity of customization - you'll place in several tasks for various departments, you'll place in project prices on a one-time or revenant basis to match time to cash, etc.
It's pretty simple to tug customizable reports to suit what information you would like to seem at.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

It would be nice if things may well be broken out additional clearly by department, as generally the whole organization are extra to a replacement project once extremely solely some of individuals ought to have.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

Harvest is well matched for groups that are placed in numerous geographic areas. My time is communicated remotely through the system simply as long as I'm connected to the web, I will track my time and it's instantly sent to my manager. It's simple to use and it's not overwhelming to manage and continue with.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Harvest is employed by the owner of backrest technical school, Inc. thus she will management payment to her workers and the way several hours and time to bill individual shoppers and comes. It's simple for her to manage and it's easier on behalf of me to trace my time through this on-line portal than to make and manage individual invoices for hours worked on numerous comes.

 ### 24. A Simple Time Tracking Tool

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rosemary H. | Virtual Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

I like that Harvest allows me to easily track time by projects (i.e. clients) that are easy to duplicate each month, easy to edit, and easy to share with other users. I also like that Harvest tends to integrate with other platforms, like Asana, which make time tracking easy.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

I dislike how Harvest seems to be constantly glitchy. For example, the Harvest integration in Asana has not worked for weeks. I also do not like how Harvest is very late/delayed in sending you overusage reports. For example, if I set that I want Harvest ot alert me when a project (i.e. client) has hit 80% usage, it seems very delayed in sending me that notification, so by that time, I might have already hit 90 or 100% usage and then I haven't had time to alert my client of our usage status. I also don't like how you can't utilize tags.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

There are other time-tracking tools I use as well, like Toggl, that have different features and might be more appropriate based on your needs.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am an independent contractor (1099) using Harves to track all my time for tasking for each of my clients. I then use Harvest to run reports and I send them weekly to my clients so they know how I'm spending their time.

 ### 25. Almost scary to see where all my time has been going

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven F. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

The best part of this app, there are a couple.. The use by team members and the import from Asana made setup a breeze and my team loves it. Much easier and more powerful than using google sheets to track time. Because of the ease of use, my team is more likely to use it which for any team leader, its a win.

I really like the drill down ability to see from a project view, then client, then team member, then task. It helps you to see what is going on and how much of it is going on..

The browser, desktop and mobile apps work perfectly.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

Not much I dislike about it, wish we had implemented this sooner. It would be nice to have a Slack integration to quickly call up a report to show who is working on what, or to show a quick brief on hours and the current budget for the month..

Other than that suggestions, we honestly don't have any complaints.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

The sooner you implement this, the sooner you can visualize where your time is going, and not going, so you can make better decisions about your time and your resources.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many problems are being solved with this app.

For one, I am currently running more than one business. Harvest helps me to budget and identify where my time is going as I spread myself across companies. Setting a time budget allows me to make sure I am focusing my priortized efforts in the right areas.

This also allows me to see what areas my team is working on and how that correlates with sales (or other conversions). If you see an area lacking in effort, it may be time to adjust course and spend time elsewhere.

Really helps us steer the ship.

 ### 26. Efficient & Easy To Use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aliya A. | E-Commerce Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

Managing and tracking your time is super easy with the Harvest application. You're able to separate out categories and easily track for each one - for example I was doing a mix of Revenue & E-Commerce and we wanted to track how much time was being spent on each but then sub-categories as well i.e. Rate Changes, Social Media etc. Easy peasy.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

The only downside that I could see being a potential but wasn't an issue for me - was how easy it is to potentially be dishonest and change your time and if companies use it to calculate pay and such - it could be an issue. Dishonesty.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

Make sure your employees are honest if you're using it to manage cost in addition to time management! Otherwise, it's a great application to use and one of the better time tracking apps I've used.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I mentioned above, but we were solving how much time I spent on Revenue & E-Commerce tasks to ensure my time was being split evenly. It's easy to log in and check your time - past and present - to see how much time is allotted and where. You can color code too which is helpful.

 ### 27. Has increased our revenue

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica B. | Junior Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

We love the Harvest widget for Chrome. Our employees use this daily. It's so easy to access and keeps time tracking front of mind. Making hours easier to record in the office directly translates to increased revenue for us so it's a brilliant solution.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

We find it much easier to manage our invoicing with another application which allows us to track our business expenses directly with our business accounts etc. in one place. Harvest doesn't allow us to do this which is limiting, and so we only use it for employees to track their time spent on various client and office projects.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Harvest is essential for us. We've found that since asking employees to track their hours on the app, we've been accounting for a lot more of our hours spent in the office. That translates to more accurate billing and increased revenue in the office.

 ### 28. I looove Harvest, especially as a DIY-er

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katy M. | Technology Chief of Staff, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

I love how easy to use the product is. It's intuitive and has the right amount of customization (not too much to the point where I'm overwhelmed, and not too little where I can't accomplish what I want)
The free product is amazing and useful

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

I don't know if I have a single thing I dislike. Perhaps it would be nice to have some sort of automation as to working on projects and tracking time for you, but a lot of people would find that to be invasive. It does have a "start the clock now" sort of feature to allow you to say "hey, I'm starting to work on ___ project"

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

I would say use it in the manner that works best for you -- some folks care more about tracking expenses... some bill per hour or per project. It has all the customizations for those things.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As someone who has multiple side projects, a couple of clients, and has a hard time keeping track of it all... this has been incredibly helpful to keep it organized and know what invoices have been paid.

 ### 29. Harvest a Great Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sky M. | Graphic Designer/Paralegal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

I was introduced to harvest at my current job, and was impressed with the ease of the time-keeping system. It allows you to manually track your time and allocate that time to different areas. This is hugely beneficial when showing clients or bosses the what and why of your time on a job.
The system that allows for expense tracking is doubly helpful when it comes to tracking the exact amount that was spent on certain items pertaining to the job. Instead of submitting an informal spreadsheet, that looks sketchy, you can submit Harvest's expense sheet that illustrates professionalism without the possibility of adding a stray subtotal.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

The only issue I have run into is that the home page doesn't default to the current date. I would prefer if it opened on the day's current date, then you could navigate to another date if you wished. I feel if this was improved, I would wholly enjoy my time keeping adventures with the Harvest application.
On a selfish note, I also wish there was a way to change the header colors from orange. I think it would be just plain cool to have some limited customization.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

Honestly, just try it out and see why everyone loves this system.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The issue solved was the inability for us to track the exact time in regards to a specific litigation. It's been beneficial for my mangers to see how much time I spent on certain tasks so they understand the standard turn around time.

 ### 30. A Clean, Elegant and Valuable Time-Tracking Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditya B. | Co-Founder, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

First of all, It has a very clean and tidy interface and not something which will make you wonder where to click and what to look for. Everything is clean and intuitive and you will not find it hard to navigate and look for menus and options. It is a super simple app which manages all our projects and clients payments and invoices/reminders for our clients seamlessly.
It also integrates with Stripe for a seamless payment which we might need to take sometimes from clients.
You can bill your clients is dollars or any other currency if you might have some clients abroad too, this feature makes it efficient to bill clients which stay out of your native country.
It also has a time-tracking tool which lets your team know the deadline for a project too, which monitors your teams real-time time and updates the same.
Harvest also has a real-time billable revenue tracking which makes it easier for you to track the billable amount for your client and it is also available in a PDF format to download via various plug-ins.
Invoicing features that the Harvest tool has is pretty amazing and a plus point of the tool.
And none the less, the tool comes in an inexpensive category.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

The Harvest tool has lost the feature of real-time on the call support, it had the support earlier but now you have to register an appointment for the support which might take a day sometimes.
Also it does not have an offline functionality on desktop.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

It is a Simple, User-friendly app which helps you track time, bill clients and finish your projects in the given time. User interface is clean and tidy and does not bore you to look at. You can try the demo for yourself and it is also not much expensive.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This Cloud-based time tracking tool is quite friendly to use and helps me to track time for a project that me and my team are working on. Bills are automatically generated and reminders too.

 ### 31. Best Online Time Tracking and Invoicing Software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ratnesh K. | Sr. SEO & Organic Growth Hacker, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

Harvest is very easy to use for daily timesheet tracking. I personally use harvest for billing and reporting. There are other nice features available like online invoicing, project delivery. I monitor the time and activities of my team very easily.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

Initially set up and mastery can be tough, but you will be used to after some time, Price is very competitive as compared to the market, not good for Small Business.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

Best for medium and large size business to track the daily routine of employee, project, and billing, a mid-size business can use the free version for 1 person and 2 projects.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I track my company work, project cost, and timesheet activities on a daily basis. We use monthly invoicing for the clients and as a reporting software.

 ### 32. Harvest Your Time

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shayla P. | Shayla Renee, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

I love that harvest allows me to quickly switch from account/task and start running time. The "timer" is the best asset to the platform and product features. It integrates with so many other apps in my tech stack.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

Harvest is supposed to be a project/task manager but doesn't really offer critical features like other platforms. It would prove hard for me to use Harvest solely when managing client accounts.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

Great as a time tracking tool. I would use it in combination with another project/task manager that natively integrates with Harvest. Great for agencies because of its accuracy.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's easily accessible and integrates with so many other platforms. It minimizes the time it would normally take me to switch from task to task and start tracking time. It takes time to track time, but Harvest helps to minimize the management time and opens up productive time.

 ### 33. Client Services

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah C. | VP, Client Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

Easy invoicing and reporting for clients.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

I wish there was an easier way to log time.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

It's great for team management and invoicing.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of internal teams' time and reporting to clients as well as budgeting.

 ### 34. A good solution with some limitations

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony J. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

The best part of Harvest is being able to bill clients using Paypal Business Payments and only paying a fee of 50 cents, rather than getting dinged with the typical 2.9% of most other payment processors. I also like how you can duplicate invoices to quickly create new invoices that are similar to previous ones, and also you can create recurring invoices.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

First, you cannot set the payment options on the client level, they need to be set at the top level across the board. So, if I want one client to pay via Paypal, and another via Stripe, I can't do that without showing both options to all clients. Also, the payment reminders keep getting sent out even after the client pays, if the fund haven't cleared yet in your account. So in a client's mind they already paid, but they keep getting reminders, which can create some awkward situations/explanations with clients that should otherwise be avoided.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

If you don't mind collecting payments via Paypal and want to save some money on processing fees, then Harvest could be a good option.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Harvest saves me payment processing fees for certain invoices I send to clients. This translates to a significant amount of savings for me each month. If they didn't have this feature, I probably wouldn't use them for anything else.

 ### 35. Great for Freelancers or Contractors

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Catherine L. | Digital marketing manager , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

I love that it is easy to use and you can access it from either desktop or mobile. They also have plug ins that will automatically sync to your outlook. You are able to track projects, teams, and submit timesheets for review if needed.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

The way you enter the time takes some getting used to- for example you may want to put in a 30 minute and 45 second phone call but I’d you put in 30:45 that will be counted as 30 hours and 45 minutes.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

Great for any level of time tracking from executive to freelancers!

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m a freelancer for my digital marketing services and Harvest let’s me keep each client easily traced and separated and makes it very easy to submit invoices to my clients.

 ### 36. Great tool for precise time tracking

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erica H. | Front-End Web Developer, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

My favorite part about Harvest is the integration with Asana. We use Asana for project management so it makes it super easy to track time to specific projects through Harvest. It also has a mobile app, which I really like because it shows up when I'm tracking time on a project (and which project). A little feature that I realized recently is that if you choose not to run a timer, but choose to enter time instead, you can enter time as "time" like :20 (20 minutes), or as a decimal like .25 (15 minutes). This seems like something little, but it has come in handy so many times!

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

Occasionally, the mobile app and the desktop app don't communicate well with each other. I'll stop tracking time, but the app will say I'm still tracking, but when I go into the app, it's not actually tracking time. It can be a little annoying in that sense, but for the most part it works well and is accurate.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

If you use a project management tool, like Asana, I'd highly recommend Harvest. It integrates very easily and makes time and project management very simple. The tools within Harvest seem very easy to use and manage as well. Pricing is good for small teams, but you may consider other options for larger teams as the price does get expensive with more people.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time tracking to projects through Asana is a HUGE benefit. It makes billing easier because the work tracked to that project is already laid out for you. We also use it for billing our clients because we can easily create projects to track time too.

 ### 37. Built for teams, cumbersome for individual users

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chad N. | Senior Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

Harvest makes it easy for someone managing a project to do their job and keep time spent on tasks in-check.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

As a team member, I felt like the process of logging hours and going back to correct hours if a mistake was made was cumbersome. Sometimes I had to login to the web portal to find and fix a mistake because the desktop or mobile app was difficult to use.
Also, why can't I login from the main harvest splash page?

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

Great tool for making sure time is being spent efficiently and as planned. Not necessarily a "joy" to use for the team members, but it accomplishes the goal.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Harvest solved the problem of keeping hours spent on particular tasks aligned.

 ### 38. Superb client/project, task structure

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan C. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

Harvest is the only time tracker with an organizational structure that really makes sense to me. I particularly like that I can reuse the same set of tasks (categories) for each project, but can also choose which to show or hide, whether or not the task is billable, and set internal and external values for each task. Even though the values have a default, I can change them by project. Other products I have used make every task billable, forcing me to manually change every entry, when needed. Some won't let me create a client without also creating a project at the same time. Harvest is just sensible.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

No app or url tracking. I continue to pay for alternative products (that overlap with Harvest) just so that I can record my computing activity. I like Harvest much better than the competitors, but constantly consider switching, because the competitors have acceptable project tracking and billing, but Harvest does not have acceptable (any) activity tracking. This is important to me for checking and correcting my time entries. I also need to keep records of internet research for regulatory purposes, so I really miss this capability in Harvest.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I tried multiple alternatives before (and after) settling on Harvest, and found that setting up clients and projects was simply faster, easier and more logical than the competitors.

 ### 39. Highly recommended Time & Project Management Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

Harvest has made trucking time for myself and my team very easy. The interface is very user friendly and simple to use. It allows us to truck real time billable and unbillable time. The software also made invoicing super simple. We can create a draft invoice, edit it, attach documents and send it to a list of contacts all from Harvest. It's also integrated with our accounting software, Xero and automatically syncs our invoices to it. I highly recommend it.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

If I have to pick something I dislike, it would be the way I can't customize the invoices. They look so simple and there's no option to change the way they look and give them more color and life :-)

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We solved the problem of how to track real- time billable and unbillable hours and assigning them to different projects. We also solved the problem of linking time to invoices and invoicing clients.

 ### 40. A refreshingly simple to use time tracker. What's not to like?

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sergei Edoardo G. | Sergei Garcia - Sr. Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

In my 5 years as a developer hopping between multiple software consultancy companies using convoluted, confusing time tracking apps, Harvest is by far the simplest one. It offers a clean, intuitive UI making for time tracking be a quick and easy task, not a painful one. Not only that, it also has a minimal responsive mobile view for a last minute update, as well as a mobile app! And a good one at that. It blows my mind other companies still haven't nailed an easy, intuitive time tracking app the way Harvest has.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

While almost perfect, the mobile version of its website could definitely use an update. While not necessarily ugly, it does look somewhat outdated. Like an app from 2010. It was clearly built with a stock, outdated version of Twitter Bootstrap.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

It's the simplest app out there! What more could you need? It's a time tracking app.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Harvest is helping us solve the common problem of employees not tracking their worked hours in a timely fashion. Harvest increases employee engagement by offering a simple, minimalist app that takes no time to update.

 ### 41. Great Time Tracking Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

I am able to get a detailed report of each account I work on.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

The only downside to Harvest is the minimal features it offers. There could be more features regarding integrations.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

If you are looking for a clean and easy to use time tracking software, this is it.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time tracking, Project Management, Results to CEO

 ### 42. Excellent application to control the time of your projects.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexa G. | Professional cosmetics, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

This software is one of the best I have used time tracking that really makes sense to me. I love it because I can reuse the same data group for each project, I can also select what I want to show or hide, if the task is viable or not, and indicate values for each task. If the values have a default value but I can change them for each project. Other features that I have used make all tasks viable.

I like it because it is easy to use and can be accessed from your desktop or mobile computer. You can track your projects and submit documents for review if necessary.

I love it because the integrations with paypal and stripe work great. We can create invoices for customers. Harvest has never been so easy without a doubt is the best.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

I think that the only thing I did not like about this application is that sometimes, when the user sends some incorrect information or because of a simple error, the only one who can solve it is the administrator and in that a little time is lost to be able to Perform the correction. It would be excellent if the user could correct the error without waiting for the administrator and can solve it.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

This application is excellent and easy to use, when we used it we never had any serious problems. I assure you that when you use it it will be very useful for your company or staff.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This application will help you a lot to manage all the time invested in each of your project, it can be from your company or any project that you have staff. It is excellent because that way you will know the time invested in each project. I love billing is very easy to handle because it minimizes the error of charging our customers more or less.

 ### 43. Awesome Forecasting tool, powerful integration with Outlook

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

Provides a great snapshot of a consultant’s availability on a day by day basis, allowing us to make the correct staffing decisions quickly

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

Nothing in particular to complain about Harvest. Its a very basic app that integrates with Outlook, that's about all we need it to do

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can forecast/predict when a particular consultant will have availability on a week-by-week (even day-by-day) basis, which has allowed us to understand how we can be more strategic about staffing people on engagements

 ### 44. A Good Tool For Any Business

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eryn S. | Adminstrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

I like the overall tool itself. It’s easy to navigate and makes managing tasks easier when it comes to time management. This means our business can easily see where our time is spent and improve our work. I have been able to self manage my own tasks and figure out where I need to split or cut down time. I also like the integration you can use with Harvest.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

I didn’t have many issues but I wasn’t fond of how difficult it was to remember to turn off the timer while working on projects. I wish there was an easy way to be reminded or a way to make the timer more prominent so I can turn it off and keep myself from over running a timer.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped a lot with time management and bringing the team to getting on track with tasks. It’s really solved our problem with spending too much time on tasks and not charging clients what needs to be properly charged.

 ### 45. Extremely Easy To Use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mikel H. | Marketing Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

Harvest's interface is absolutely incredible. For a time tracking tool, it's extremely easy to use and not clunky or complicated. It's also very easy to organize projects and parent projects, as well as team dynamics. It's also got a great desktop extension to make it easy to track time (clock-in and clock-out).

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

The desktop extension is great, but I do wish you could manage a bit more of the projects, tasks, etc. a little better. In order to make those changes, you have to log into the browser and update.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Seeing where my and the team's time is going has been so helpful. It's great to see where the majority of my time is going, but then to also get a report of where the people on my team are spending their time. It also helps with reviews and when the team is feeling overwhelmed. We're able to reallocate time and resources to other projects or areas that may be over.

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

Harvest is just simply easy. With the extension on my MacBook, it sits on the top bar counting the time for me. Even when I'm zoned out taking care of tasks, it will alert me and remind me that I haven't been tracking my work. Once you have your projects and categories set up, you just turn it on and we use the description to explain what we are specifically working on.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

My only complaint is that I wish it would integrate with our project manager and auto-populate with existing projects/tasks.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Main benefit is the reporting for sure. We are able to create time tracking reports which helps in breaking down the work our team has done and separating billable from non-billable hours.

 ### 47. Excellent time tracking tool in my projects.

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

I like it because it made visualizing the budgets and margins of my projects dramatically easier, so I know where my company's time and money goes and mine.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

Sometimes there is a disconnection between the desktop application and the website, which causes lost time records of my projects but is something that is solved with the updates, there are things that do not affect the performance of the product, but it would be good to have them. For example, I can create and send estimates, but I can't convert estimates into invoices. Also, some reports can be very long and can't be filtered, it's reviewable.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

Harvest is an ideal time tracking and billing platform for small and medium businesses. People track their time in the desired increments, and then can track their time to particular projects or disciplines. It can be flexed to accommodate multiple professional disciplines, and provides time counts/breakdowns for each user. In the backed, you can collect fairly rich data from the platform to analyze distribution and time analysis.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I simply select the project I'm working on and start the timer. While I'm working, it stays in the background. If I am called out of my desk for any reason, and I forget to stop the timer, it recognizes the inactivity and registers with me when I return. That's very useful: if you were off the computer on a project-related call, for example, click the button and continue timing, including 'idle' time. If I was called to a different project, I can easily put the minutes/hours of 'idle' time into the appropriate project. If I was called for something completely unrelated to work, I can abandon the accumulated 'inactive' time and continue working or stop the clock when I return. It also sends an email reminder after several hours of downtime, such as when I stopped working for the day and forgot to disconnect.

 ### 48. Harvest Works Well for Small, Busy Marketing Agency

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

I appreciate that Harvest has multiple paths to get to the same information, so that I can easily navigate from question to outcome based on whatever problem I'm trying to solve at the moment. For example, I can track time on a specific project and immediately create an invoice for that portion of time or alternatively, I can scan that portion of time for uninvoiced entries. I also appreciate the ability to autogenerate recurring retainer invoices and mark all time for that job as "invoiced" in bulk.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

I wish that Harvest would alert me to a duplicated or invalid Invoice ID before sending it to my client - currently I get a notification AFTER sending that alerts me to a failure to copy to QuickBooks, so that my client witnesses that mistake. I also wish that retainer/pre-pay information could be copied to QuickBooks to save our bookkeeper the extra step of manually checking in with both systems, and I wish that invoices could be marked as "sent" without sending individual emails (for my clients that prefer comprehensive dashboards with all open invoices instead of individual messages). I would also appreciate separate proposal, estimate, and contract steps that could all be linked to a specific job to make my sales funnel easier to track without having to add offline steps and updates.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

Harvest is great for busy organizations looking to cut down on their administrative time without sacrificing the quality of their time tracking or user data. It's an excellent blend of flexibility that allows tracking of billable and unbillable time, across numerous users, clients, projects, and job roles.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Harvest is very efficient for managing a small team that works collaboratively across multiple clients, each with multiple projects. We are much better able to track our time and cost internally, which allows us to resource plan and manage our profit margins with much greater intention and accuracy. Being able to quickly pull project and time records has also saved us time and frustration in estimating new projects and calculating the value of internal projects (such as office updates and internal marketing campaign planning).

 ### 49. Great Project Management/Billing Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Burcu D. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

For each project, you can add different team members and different tasks. It allows you to easily track which team members are performing which tasks and for how long. It makes billing a piece of cake!
From a user perspective, it changes how you do work on a day-to-day life since you need to push a button each time you are performing a different task. This is a very easy learning curve, it just takes about 2 weeks to get into the habit (just like every other habit that we develop).

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

The payment structure is per each user. It becomes pricey if you have a large team.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

A physical button could be a piece of hardware that you sell.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, we had estimated how much time we have spent on a specific project. With harvest, we know exactly how long a specific task took. We are becoming a more data-driven organization with Harvest.

 ### 50. Everything you need and nothing you don't

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Harvest?**

Harvest has an easy reporting feature so you can track billable hours and categorize hours in real time. If you're using the forecasting tool it's easy to see who is over-resourced. Harvest integrates with most other management tools if you want to import your calendar or tasks. Quick and easy.

**What do you dislike about Harvest?**

It's difficult to add a new bucket if you're not an administrator - you should be able to write in a new bucket that is pending approval or sends a notification to approve the new project category. At the least flag an asset that requires an admin edit. It would also be nice to be able to filter your week by project or client so you can see, adjust, and comment on hours without having to navigate to each day. Also it's easy to misplace all of your hours on the wrong day or even week. We should be able to change the date of a full recorded day easily.

**Recommendations to others considering Harvest:**

It's a great tool for companies ranging in size. It's easier if you use the full suite of tools (forecasting, expense reporting) instead of just time tracking.

**What problems is Harvest solving and how is that benefiting you?**

tracking billable time to ensure overhead isn't too high and our burn rate is as projected. Recording tasks completed for clients to reference.
