Hardtack puts an AI, called Foreman, in charge of the day-to-day work of running a portable sanitation, septic or roll-off dumpster company. You stay the boss: Foreman proposes, you approve. Foreman reads your whole business: calls, jobs, routes, invoices, disposal records and customers. Ask it anything in plain English ("How did we do this week?", "Who hasn't paid?") and it answers from your own data. Then it does the work: drafting payment reminders, turning completed jobs into invoices, logging disposal tickets from a photo, flagging customers who look ready to leave. It doesn't wait to be asked. A morning brief, overdue accounts and anything unusual show up before you go looking. Set a standing rule once and Foreman handles it the same way every time, still with your approval. Everything Foreman works from is built in, as one system: dispatch that builds each morning's routes across multiple trucks and re-plans when a route runs late; a phone agent that answers every call, including after hours, and books the job; a driver app for stops, photos and signatures; invoicing with card and ACH payments and QuickBooks Online sync; a customer portal, web booking and arrival texts; and unit and disposal tracking. Built for route businesses that would rather run the company than run the paperwork.
