It's a great price and it allows us to easily and inexpensively create and send up to 4 touchpoints to our clients each year. **What do you dislike about Handwrytten?** I have yet to find any problems with using this service. The test service makes it easy to build my automation, the price is great, and we can customize the service to meet any of our needs. I don't know what else I could expect. **What problems is Handwrytten solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are a small company (4 people) with a lot of clients. However, in real estate, customers don't make many purchases and when they do, they are often several years apart, if not longer. We need an easy solution that allows us to send personalized, real-world correspondence to our customers on an ongoing basis every year. Based on our client records this amounts to more than 500 cards per year. Having to place each of those orders manually with each client's info would take a tremendous amount of time and money. Now we are able to communicate with our clients much easier and for an incredibly low cost. After you overcome the hurdles of importing your contacts, you'll learn there are a fair amount of limitations from there. For example, you only have specific dynamic fields you can enter (first name, company name, etc). On the envelope, it will always be First name & Last name with company name below. There is no way to change that. If you have a custom card built into a campaign and want to modify it, get ready to have to completely create a new custom card and rebuild the campaign. If you're editing contacts, they will often jump around through your contact book, making it difficult to verify changes. That's before you realize it's $4/card. Competitors are half of that. One of the things that I was struggling with was having time to thank new customers for doing business with me. It sounds funny, but with everything else going on, it's hard to find the time to do simple quick things like sending out a thank you card to new customers. This is where Handwrytten has come in and has really helped me out. I use my scheduling platform along with Zapier to solve this problem. My scheduling software captures the customer information, and then when they come in for their first appointment Zapier sends a command to Handwrytten and it automatically writes the thank you card, customized with the customer's name, and sends the card out in a stamped envelope to the customer's address. By simply scheduling the new customer and beginning the appointment, Handwrytten takes it from there and sends out the thank you card. It's awesome. The cards are thick, and of quality material. You can tell the writing has been done in ink, and there are a variety of handwriting styles to pick from. It's also easy to quickly send out a card manually by using templates and addresses from databases. It's probably the closest thing to having a human assistant write out thank you for your business cards I can get short of hiring someone to do it in my office. **What do you dislike about Handwrytten?** Sometimes duplicate letters in sequence look strange - the preview on the screen on Handwrytten doesn't always match what the computer actually writes out. The word "wellness," for example, will have two "s's" at the end, and one is a printed "s" and the second in sequence is in cursive, which kind of looks odd if you really scrutinize it, and this is not what shows up on the preview, so that was unexpected. Also, when the two "s's" are in sequence several times, they always have them the same way, which then could tip someone off that it's more computerized than handwritten. Otherwise, it's pretty darn impressive how great these cards look! **Recommendations to others considering Handwrytten:** When using it with Zapier to automate, you can really do some cool things with it. **What problems is Handwrytten solving and how is that benefiting you?** I explained them above - how I don't have time to write out cards to each new customer, especially when they come in multiples throughout the week. Also would like to be able to edit the back of the card and add an image or logo. I can take a moment in my car and send one off before leaving the parking lot! This may have been something they've figured out since I last checked but the cards come from Arizona, so the cards my customer sees come from some strange address postmarked from AZ but with my Maryland return address. Just creates weirdness & confusion for the client but again, this may have been fixed since I last checked. **What problems is Handwrytten solving and how is that benefiting you?** With Handwrytten I can send my new customers awesome welcome cards and current clients birthday cards among anything else you could imagine.
