Halo UI was quite fast so  that point i like in that

**What do you like best about HALO?**

Queue management, agent involvement, decent support and integration with our other stack products means that the PSA has become the centralised product for the organisation.

**What do you dislike about HALO?**

Support can be a little circuitous, and problems/issues are not readily identifiable - lots of digging!

**What problems is HALO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PSA and to some extent CRM.
Project management, reporting, Sales management/generation etc.

All the intigrations! We picked it specifically to intigrate all our tools.

**What do you dislike about HALO?**

At times we feel left in the dust when API/intigrations do not work and Halo points the finger at the other company out of the gate, rather then trouble shoot on the spot.

**What do you like best about HALO?**

Halo is often changing up the items offered in their catalogue. Halo's prices seem to be pretty fair for the cost of the item and their mark up. We have a dedicated assigned account manager. There are many different features that Halo offers that my cvompany does not use. My coworkers do not have any issues accessing the site and finding the product they want. The emails alerting employees of their anniversary is autamed, which takes our HR team almost entirely out of the picture, which is very nice.

**What do you dislike about HALO?**

It took 4 years for us to be given an account manager, which lead to a lot of back and forth and a delay in changes and corrections. The shipping and freight cahrges are often very high and despite requesting to be informed before hand when they will be high, this never occurs. We have had 300+ charges on shipping of items. The online portal is not easy to navigate or administer. I cannot add or remove employees from the portal myself and must do so through data uploads manually emailed to Halo.

**What problems is HALO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Halo is managing the gifting portion of our service anniversay program. They send emails to the employees to alert them they have met a service milestone, send a link to an online catalogue where the employee is able to choose their gift, and ship the item to the employee.

**What do you like best about HALO?**

It allows us to be more aware of what we're doing well

**What do you dislike about HALO?**

Low points per nomination. You can't redeem points for anything hardly. It's hard to Navigate at times and confusing at others.

**What problems is HALO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't know that it solves anything with myself as I always do my 100% with every patient, family member, and coworker. I consistently go above and beyond, but most aren't incentivised to even nominate due to what I believe is jealousy/ coworkers only want themselves to be recognized. It's currently benefitted me as I was able to redeem my points for a $25 mastercard. That was nice.

**What do you like best about HALO?**

Large variety of gifts offered at each service level. Gifts ship out rather quickly & are exactly as described. The team at HALO are great at responding to my emails and providing service to employees when they need it.

**What do you dislike about HALO?**

The shipping of service awards at the beginning of the quarter can be delayed at times. Part of that is my fault so I'm going to make sure data is turned in by the deadline for the 2024 Q1 awards to see if that helps matters.

**What problems is HALO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to recognize the years of service milestones for our employees - with over 4,000 employees nationwide, HALO helps keep the managers & company on track for recognizing those anniversaries!

**What do you like best about HALO?**

I love the selection they have for our employees regarding recognition gifts.  I know our employees use the site by the monthly invoice, and I can run reports as well.  It's very nice having a company that provides recognition for anniversaries, birthdays, and spot gifts automatically.

**What do you dislike about HALO?**

I truly can't think of anything I dislike about HALO.  Anytime I have requested something regarding the site, they have come through and adjusted it for me.  Pertaining to how employee updates are sent, I would love to see a feed go from our HRIS system to their system.  This could be an issue with our HRIS provider and not HALO.

**What problems is HALO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We run a lean HR team.  Having Halo perform our rewards and recognition processes frees up my time for other duties I perform. While we celebrate birthdays and anniversaries by announcing it on the company tv boards, I lean on Halo to make sure these milestones are special for the employee.

**What do you like best about HALO?**

Halo is highly responsive to emails and calls. They are quick to offer best practices and ideas for projects and other initiatives. We met with one other company before signing with Halo and they weren't as personable or knowledgeable as Halo has been.

**What do you dislike about HALO?**

Launching a website with Halo is hugely time-consuming. This isn't something that Halo can necessarily fix, it's just something that companies should be aware of when signing on to create a site.

**What problems is HALO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Halo is helping us to expand our employee recognition. We only have an employee-of-the-month program but want to reach each of our 6000 staff. We are also trying to promote the use of technology and move away from paper advertisements.

There have been no problems on Halo side only our Benefit Administrator does not send over all employees correctly so I have to send our representative these one offs and sometimes as many as 25 to put in manually.  They handle all service awards from letter to product to mailings

My rep, Roger, does a great job of helping with any questions that I have and is always responsive when I reach out to him. There are a good number of prizes at each level that cover a variety of interests

**What do you dislike about HALO?**

I wish that HALO would bring back the paper catalogs that used to come with service awards. When someone is at 30 or 40 years of service the last thing they want to do is get a piece of paper telling them they need to go online to view and choose a prize. I would also remove the trigger which sends a gift to people who haven't responded. Generally, the lack of response is because the employee is no longer with the company and not eligible for a prize.

It's an enterprise-wide solution that makes giving service awards easy. We alert HALO to upcoming anniversaries, and receive award packets quarterly which can be given out to our employees.

No realy downsides for me. Only desire would be for more modern interface designs and proactive recommendations for solutions to needs.

Halo provides a single platform for peer-to-peer and nomination-based recognition programs as well as fulfiling milestone service anniversary processing and gift fulfillment.

The best things about HALO are that they provide excellent customer service, they are swift to answer any questions or concerns, and the fact that anyone can replace a broken gift or a gift that never showed up all at no extra cost.

What I dislike about HALO is that some gifts are a little expensive. However, HALO has given solutions such as taking out the pricier offerings to employees for the company to save more money.

HALO has made our employees feel more appreciated at work; many employees (especially those that have been with us for 10+ years) are excited that they are finally getting recognized for their time with the company. They were happy with the awards but ecstatic when they also found that they got a free gift along with it.

The best thing about HALO is their team of employees, specifically our Account Manager, Nicola. When we do experience issues, she is there to help us resolve them. Products seem to be good quality, few employee complaints.

At this moment, I don't dislike anything about HALO.

Danielle and team are responsive and friendly.  Offering a service and retirement recognition gifts through HALO works for us.

I love that they listen to customer needs, develop the right solution and provide options to enhance.  The quality of goods is superior, and they can be fulfill in all, if not most, countries.

**What do you dislike about HALO?**

The account executive team provides meaningful strategic ideas to go along with data to help you stay ahead of demand.  The customer experience team is very responsive and resolves issues when things happen.  There is not much to dislike.

**What problems is HALO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being a global company, we experience challenges with delivery of goods.  Halo provides in-country shipping options to expedite delivery while reducing customs and shipping costs.  This boots the employee experience and helps us to provide the same experience in countries.

We have worked with Halo for Years, they provide us with a great selection of products to reward employees

Would be good to receive reminders to give the rewards out.  We get the entire year in one order, but as the year goes by we sometimes forget to reward our receipeitns and its embarssing.

Gift choices are refreshed often. Our HALO contact is very timely when replying to my email.

**What do you dislike about HALO?**

Isn't truly HALO; it's the password needing to be reset. Our employees use their employee number as the username; many would also like to use their employee number as the password.

**What problems is HALO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee recognition at specific anniversary dates. Employees are grateful to make their own choice for a gift, love being recognized.

I like the team I work with at Halo.  Rebecca Remely has been a great partner with GMR since day one.  Sonnah Barrie is always very responsive, knowledgable and friendly.

Working through the team to find details regarding shipping, Employee account. Having  portal/account where the employer can look into specific situations i.e if a award was processed or shipped.

Providing service awards and milestone gifts monthly to our US/Canada population. This takes the heavy lift off us internally with having the support from Halo to process, trouble shoot, and ship awards and gifts.

**What do you like best about HALO?**

The best part about HALO is its team’s dedication to developing amazing relationships between employees and employers — and that extends to their partnerships as well. The team really lives out its culture. HALO's Sales Development Manager, Seth, is very collaborative and informative.  Communication with Seth is always open, and he shares valuable insight on employee recognition that has helped me reassess how I show appreciation to the people I work with. 

Additionally, he has no issue digging into the data as we brainstorm with the team to uncover different ways of delivering value to various organizations. The DBD team has been very fluid with accepting meetings and offers excellent feedback on how their calls went.  

Throughout our partnership, Halo has displayed appreciation for the Martal team and has demonstrated the highest level of professionalism.

**What do you dislike about HALO?**

There is nothing I dislike about HALO Recognition.  Every interaction with the HALO team is exceptionally productive. Our success with HALO is a direct result of the collaboration and teamwork between our two crews.

No administrative work in HALO's system on the employer's end - simple reporting and the rest is handled by HALO. User experience is simple, easy and quick! Account Rep response time on questions is always fast and helpful.

The gift options sometimes seem outdated and have heard feedback from employees that there is not enough variety in the gift choices. Technology could be updated as well.

**What do you like best about HALO?**

Renee Stern is incredibly easy and personable to work with.  She makes it a point to make and keep her customers happy. We were initially really disappointed with our first implementation team because they would never provide us with solutions.  We did let Renee know our feelings and now the team that we have is amazing.

**What do you dislike about HALO?**

We had some trouble with our initial meetings because I felt we were spinning our wheels and were not getting presented with solutions, but that seems to have been resolved now. We have been assigned a new account representative who is amazing!  Alice takes the lead and provides us with suggestions and how we can better use the product.

**Recommendations to others considering HALO:**

It's a great product and the team that we are working with now is fabulous! The worst part is working out the budgeting, but my recommendation would be to listen to your implementation team.  They know how the system works and what would be the best way to implement the system to your needs.

**What problems is HALO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to implement an Employee Recognition system to try and build better inter personal relationships between our employees.  Our employees love the system so far.  Especially now with everyone working remotely it helps to keep the idea of teamwork.

Our rep, Ruena Castro is so helpful! She will search for an answer for any question we have. Our director, Rebecca Remely has been great from the beginning!

I would like a few more options for the administrative side of the site. Maybe some more electronic/tech items to choose from.

**Recommendations to others considering HALO:**

If you are looking for a company to help with longevity and recognition, look no further than Halo. They have so many options, from experiences to gifts to gift cards. Their customer service is great too!

**What problems is HALO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ease of the administrative side of the program is great. I used to have to send individual emails to every employee on their anniversary; with automation, my job is so much easier. The options we now have for our employees are so much better than we've had in the past. I can't wait to add more teams to our recognition site.

Awesome customer service makes  finding and getting solutions to your issues quick. The data integrity team also ensures there are no duplicates/errors in data which is wonderful.

I do think it is pricy. We have had some issues with people being able to login to the platform to redeem their gift selection, and there seems to be a lot of confusion around this.

Recognizing service milestones (5, 10, 15, 20, etc.) year increments. We also recently added a retirement recognition program to acknowledge the those individuals dedicated service over the years.

Our customer service representative is responsive and helpful. Halo's system is easy to use. Even during supply change shortages, they are able to deliver our items timely and assist with care.

**What do you dislike about HALO?**

I think the on thing that was hard for us was being able to update addresses manually for team member who moved to a new office. It had to be done via an interface file and we had a hard time getting that updated fast. It would be helpful if there was an employer portal and we could make some of these changes realtime.

Halo is helping us make employee recognition and service awards easy. We give a list and they take care of all the communications with the employee. It makes our lives as HR professionals very easy.
