In my experience, I find that it would be better if there was a progress stage, that we, as recruiters, can set, to say that the candidate has passed screening call and is now at hiring manager interview stage. What I like the most about Hackajob is that it does an excellent job in matching highly relevant candidates at a rapid pace to each job post we share on the platform.

I initially encountered hackajob when searching for a different sourcing platform. The first result said 'hackajob is so much better', which caught my attention.

For context, I'm a sole TA in a high-growth software development company of c.120. Like many others, we struggled to recruit developers, relying on agencies, network and LinkedIn approaches.

Enter HJ..... game changer! We have a very niche requirement, but we've met so many high calibre, diverse candidates via the platform and made an exceptional hire in week 3 of the 4 week free trial. Hackajob has had a significant impact on hiring some of the top tech candidates in the UK market. It has provided us with a broad and diverse talent pool to help us source and match candidates across the tech platform. It has helped us identify niche skillsets and candidates that aren't active in the job market. One of the top things about the tool is the candidate engagement and response rate, where it effectively converts your job requirements into a candidate pipeline. There is also a brilliant human-centric approach whereby you get very quick responses from their customer success team (Jaz being one!). I'm aware that some organisations have ATS' that can be integrated with Hackajob which is a massive advantage. For those who don't have the right ATS, it can be quite a manual and transactional activity managing candidate pipelines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Source product suite has a simple layout and is easy to use on a regular basis. You can add roles then specify the skills, location and other details required to find more relevant matches To get the most out of the Hackajob Source function, each morning I login and work my way through the matches provided and there are always new matches. If the matches are not quite right then I am able to adjust the skill sets or reach out to our Account Manager to take a look. Hackajob has been our go-to platform to find good quality candidates across various disciplines – from software engineering and quality assurance to cyber security and data.

It’s a very easy platform to use, taking away a lot of the pain of reaching out to candidates and, more importantly, getting a response in such a competitive market.

The interview functionality – asking candidates to propose times that work for them and then syncing with your calendar - is another timesaver. It allows me to focus my time where I can add the most value.

There are active, engaged candidates in niche technology areas that you can contact and schedule interviews with using the easy to use platform.
