Hackajob helps me as a Recruiter find qualified candidates, who are already pre screened for difficult tech roles. It is an added resourse that is a tremendous help. All of the communication with our Hackajob partners helps make this parternship that much better. We all have one goal and are always on the same page. Not to mention, the platform itself is so easy to use and navigate.

I dont see any downsides. It gives you all of the info for each candidate that you need to make an informed decision before reaching out to the candidate.

No dislikes but look forward to the continued extension of their geographical reach - Poland next please.

**What do you like best about hackajob?**

Before I started using hackajob, we were heavily agency dependent for our tech hiring. Advertising didn't work and headhunting was tough as our target audience get approached so often, they often weren't interested in talking to us. Using hackajob has helped transform our tech hiring to the extent we barely use agencies at all anymore. I love being able to add a job and have profiles of relevant, vetted and qualified active job seekers immediately available to review. I can go from taking a vacancy brief from a hiring manager to having profiles ready for them to review on the same day. We always find relevant matches and always have people to interview quickly. The overall quality of candidate is good and we've been able to make plenty of offers. The hires we've made have already saved us way more in agency fees than we pay for the hackajob solution.  The attentiveness of the customer success team is another plus point, they genuinely care about making sure we get the most out of the platform and are always great to deal with. Overall I would definitely recommend - I'd find it very hard to live without it now, and so would my tech hiring managers!

**What do you dislike about hackajob?**

No major complaints. It can sometimes be frustrating when you match with a great candidate then they aren't interested, but that's hardly hackajob's fault. There is a lot of competition for candidates, we rarely engage with people who aren't in several other processes, but that's up to us to make sure we present a compelling offer. Finally some of the UX around interview organisation can be a bit clunky and it's not integrated with my ATS, but the Product team are really interested in listening to these concerns and acting on them to drive future system improvements. There are no negatives that would make me even consider stopping using it.

**What problems is hackajob solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping us to reduce our dependence on expensive recruitment agencies by giving us a steady flow of relevant and interested candidates.

Sometimes you do get candidates that sometimes are looking for a higher salary than what you have to offer but this is a very rare occurrence.

The best thing about Hackajob is the quality of candidates and the UX in place to actually assess that candidate. It's clear and concise, and really easy to progress people.

The only slight issue I have is the location of some of the candidates. Some of our roles aren't remote, and the platform tends to be quite heavily weighted to London.

Hackajob is helping us to find really top quality hires that we wouldn't necessarily have access to. They also host events, which are both informative and fun.

Only engaged, available candidates who're actively looking for work - no more trawling other platforms endlessly reaching out with minimal response rate.

The only thing I'd change is the interviewing options as we cant select Teams from the dropdown option - only telephone / face2face, however Hackajob have provided a workaround for this :-)

**What do you like best about hackajob?**

I find hackajob so useful in reaching out to relevant candidates for my roles. Easy to navigate through profiles and decide if you would like to continue to discuss roles with candidates. It's nice and easy to schedule times for interviews and I love the fact I get regular reminders in the morning of interviews I have scheduled and that they automatically go into my calendar along with a link to their CV. This saves me time having to go back into the portal separately. I find the quality of candidates very good and have had success off the back of hackajob.

I haven't come across any downsides of using hackajob.

Hackajob takes away the amount of irrelevant candidates I get through job boards. The candidates are always a good match. It also gives me the ability to keep focused and on track with my hiring needs.

Overall, hackajob is an excellent tool for us. It provides access to pre-screened tech talent, helping save time and money and creating a more efficient hiring process. By using hackajob, it allows us to cut through the noise and focus on finding incredible talent. Hackajob has candidates for most of our disciplines and they often identify candidates that we do not see on other platforms.

We often look for a niche skillset, and we have had to calibrate our requirements carefully. Thankfully, the account team have been fantastic at providing us with the support we've needed to ensure we use the platform in the best way possible.

It is difficult to search for polyglot Engineers as it is very focused on specific tech stacks. Additionally, multiple users can't look after the same pipeline as they have no sight of who the other user progressed/rejected.

**What do you like best about hackajob?**

hackajob sounds like a tool that might be too good to be true, but once you get into the platform, it is that helpful! We started with a 30-day trial period thinking we would see how user-friendly the product was, but we didn't think we would succeed past that. In that short amount of time, we were able to make one hire and also had another candidate get to offer stages.

**What do you dislike about hackajob?**

We recognize that this is a newer tool, so there will always be some things to improve, but we feel that the rejection reasons could be a little more thought out. Often we would select rejection reasons for candidates and then still find future candidates of similar backgrounds. It would be nice to have more flexibility in search capabilities based on skillset.

**What problems is hackajob solving and how is that benefiting you?**

hackajob is helping us identify highly sought talent in a completely competitive market. By providing us candidates that are actively on the market, it helps us get top talent in the pipeline sooner rather than later.

It gives access to passive and active candidates who we can't always source directly. hackajob profiles are all very recent and the support from the hackajob team means searches can be tweaked quickly to make sure you get good relevant matches.

I know all of these things are in the plan to happen but I would love a way of indicating I like a profile without having to immediately book an interview, the ability to leave notes on a profile and for colleagues using hackajob to be able to see who I have viewed and declined.

Its providing a pool of canddiates where we do not receive direct applications and saving us valuable sourcing time so we can focus our time on talking to candidates.

Hackajob is a great platform and a great alternative to traditional agency partnerships. Candidates are matched to our technical specifications and matches are presented daily to review and interview. Great integration with our ATS system and superb customer support with regular updates, data and insight included in the package.

**What do you dislike about hackajob?**

The integration with the ATS is tricky at first and sometimes it can be tricky to keep on top of applications, but the team are helpful to make life easier. Speed is key to make this platform work, so you need to review applications daily, so need manage accordingly.

**What problems is hackajob solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding candidates unavailable on the open market that normally would not apply via advert response, also tracking our diversity recruitment with data and insights is very useful.

The interface is easy to use and you can easily reach out to candidates. The response rate is excellent and mine is currently sitting at 74%. The support team is also highly engaged and comes back to you quickly with any issues.

Once interviews have been scheduled it can be a bit clunky when viewing what interviews are scheduled and what interviews have already taken place. It is also focused on remote workers and it is not as effective for hybrid or office-based positions.

HackAJob is helping us reduce the time to hire and increase the quality of hiring for our technical roles. It also helps provides a number of key stats for reporting purposes.

The candidates are relevant; the search criteria are easily filtered.
It is a user-friendly system which allows you to find great talent, communicate, track and schedule.
It integrates with your calendar, automatically sending out a copy of the CV and contact details in one email instead of having to flip through systems. The support from the team is also phenomenal, Maddy does weekly check-in and is even willing to assist with scheduling and keeping the pipeline up to date. Having a dedicated account manager ready to sort out any technical issues is very helpful. They go above and beyond.

I honestly have nothing negative to say about this app; it has been a breath of fresh air compared to many of the other sourcing tools I have used throughout my career.

**What problems is hackajob solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives me the relevant skill, with all the information I need, and a tracking system due to volume recruitment in the skill searches. It is a trustworthy source of active candidates with relevant skills.  You have upfront information which speeds up my recruiting process instead of filtering through hundreds of CV that might not be active. It creates a safe environment for the tech experts to upload  their CV's

The platform is easy to use and navigate and can  be customised/intergrated to work alongside your current ATS system
The matches are very accurate to the specification and key words we recruit for 
Lots of interactions with the Hackajob team. weekly updates with useful KIP data outlining metrics around match %, and D&I data
Any areas not working are quickly addressed and resolved with regular communication
The platform relies on quick turnaround for good candidate experience, which is good

No complaints, we plan to fully utilize in 2023 to improve our hiring stats and be more proactive with future roles, so we have a pipeline in reserve
Improvements would be more accuracy around location preferences, but a minor issue that is being fixed

Hackajob has transformed how we engage with tech talent. Gone are the days of trawling LinkedIn -> now we are connected with an engaged audience of tech professionals from a range of different backgrounds and industries. The tool syncs with our ATS beautifully, meaning candidates move effortlessly from hackajob into our hiring journey. The CS team are always on hand to make sure we are getting the best use out of the tool, and support us actively in our candidate searches. We're always looking for the best people, and now with hackajob we can speak to them easily and quickly.

Genuinely nothing to add here; hackajob is continually evolving with added functionality - when I have had a question, query or capability recommendation, the team (and Natalia in particular) is on hand to help find a solution. Joy to partner with.

The occasional unsuitable candidate, however this is only when the platform is still learning what suitable looks like.

Hacka job enables you to hire at speed as it does the leg work for you when it comes to finding suitable candidates, it also helps with having account managers that are always at hand to help. I have used the platform at 3 different companies now and always had great account managers, in particular most recently working with Taylor James.

The tool is very straightforward to use in general. But it's a plus to work closely with the Account managers who aid in a seamless process with candidates! The response rate from candidates is also very strong.

No significant complaints; however, I wish the layouts were a little easier to read/organize. Not just the overall dashboard but also when communicating with candidates and keeping track of messages/scheduling/tracking stages, etc.

Hackajob offers another platform to source/recruit candidates. In addition, Hackajob also helps to streamline the recruitment process by providing vetted candidates and assisting in moving the process along - it helps the time-to-hire significantly!

I like the way that the platform generates matches, the algorythms generally work really well and produce very valid matches, without me having to spend time trawling through CV's.

In my experience, I find that it would be better if there was a progress stage, that we, as recruiters, can set, to say that the candidate has passed screening call and is now at hiring manager interview stage. Currently, candidates sit at stage one completed and in limbo, until I have feedback forom HM

Hackajob has had a significant impact on hiring some of the top tech candidates in the UK market.  It has provided us with a broad and diverse talent pool to help us source and match candidates across the tech platform.  It has helped us identify niche skillsets and candidates that aren't active in the job market.   One of the top things about the tool is the candidate engagement and response rate, where it effectively converts your job requirements into a candidate pipeline.   There is also a brilliant human-centric approach whereby you get very quick responses from their customer success team (Jaz being one!).  Having Jaz as a our dedicated customer success manager has been seamless.

**What do you dislike about hackajob?**

I'm aware that some organisations have ATS' that can be integrated with Hackajob which is a massive advantage.  For those who don't have the right ATS, it can be quite a manual and transactional activity managing candidate pipelines.

**What problems is hackajob solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hackajob has hugely helped us drive better engagement with candidates in the tech space.  We're able to spend more focused sourcing time as the candidate specs and salary expectations match up with our requirements, so we're not wasting time. We are also getting a lot of external market information from Jaz which helps us stay infloat in such a demanding market.

The Source product suite has a simple layout and is easy to use on a regular basis. You can add roles then specify the skills, location and other details required to find more relevant matches To get the most out of the Hackajob Source function, each morning I login and work my way through the matches provided and there are always new matches. If the matches are not quite right then I am able to adjust the skill sets or reach out to our Account Manager to take a look. Taylor and the Hackajob team are great at playing around with various aspects of the job advert to make sure we are getting the right matches.

Hackajob has been our go-to platform to find good quality candidates across various disciplines – from software engineering and quality assurance to cyber security and data.

It’s a very easy platform to use, taking away a lot of the pain of reaching out to candidates and, more importantly, getting a response in such a competitive market.

The interview functionality – asking candidates to propose times that work for them and then syncing with your calendar - is another timesaver. It allows me to focus my time where I can add the most value.

The support we’ve had from Taylor, our Customer Success Manager, has been fantastic. She always ensures we get the most out of the platform and has been absolutely essential in making sure we’re always set up for success

In the last three months alone, we’ve hired multiple senior software engineers, talent that we would have previously struggled to identify.

Not really a 'dislike', but it would be an even better platform if we were able to integrate it with our ATS. There are some systems that can be integrated so hopefully, they'll add more to that list

Hackajob is playing a key role in providing a steady flow of candidates who are definitely considering other roles and are ready to interview at short notice. There are a number of advantages of using Hackajob, one of the main ones is the ability to access candidates who know they aren't going to be hounded by traditional recruitment agencies and know exactly where their profile is going makes the candidate experience much smoother. 

Also, initially we didn't have a database of candidates due to an out of date ATS and with the integration of Hackajob with our new ATS is making the process of finding and contacting candidates much easier, more so than LinkedIn Recruiter! Our time to hire has been massively reduced for niche roles by giving us a number of top quality candidates at the top of the funnel.

**What do you dislike about hackajob?**

Since we're competing with other internal talent teams from other innovative tech companies the competition for top quality talent is strong which is nothing to do with Hackajob. I'd say there's no integration between Hackajob and Microsoft Teams so calls that are booked in need to be done via mobile which sometimes confuses the candidate but is not a weekly occurrence.

Candidate engagement ratio compared to other platforms isn't on another level as all the candidates we reach out to on the platform are actively looking for a new job and more than likely will be open to a chat as long as the company and role aligns with what they are looking for. Everything! Its easy and the UI/UX is well thought out. In a tough market, Hackajob has been essential. 

The candidate matching system makes a pleasant change for a tech recruiter. Instead doing a lot of active work to gain candidate engagement and build a strong candidate pipeline as you do with other platforms - with Hackajobs we just select suitable candidates from the matches and they select us back if we are the right fit for them so great engagement from the get-go, all done through the platform so it really takes the conscious effort out of it. Messages and interviews can be arranged easily on or off the platform making it easy to keep track of progress. 

Jazmine is always on hand to support us with any queries and we always get a really speedy reply, both Jaz and Lachlan help us scope out future recruitment plans and work with our marketing focused team to plan and advise on upcoming campaigns.

Nothing! Platform is continuing to grow and develop, team are really friendly and easy to collaborate - not sure what else they could do!

Hackajob is an intuitive platform, easy to use and provides a clear approach to finding tech talent in an ever-evolving and challenging market. Although I have only been using the platform for a month, it's proven to be a tool that has provided strong candidates.

Aside from the platform being a solid sourcing tool, the customer success team has been exceptional; Natalia, in particular, has been a constant in the support we've received with open communication, regular catch-ups and listens to any product improvements we feel that may be needed.

Nothing stand-out - product improvements are made constantly if we feel something needs to be changed. Integration to our ATS wasn't available, however, a partnership agreement has just been made and has now started. Most popular ATS's are available.

We recruit for a number of locations across the UK, and most of our roles require candidates to be eligible for security clearance so this has always been a challenge for us. With hackajob, there is a consistent pipeline for almost every role, which has resulted in me being able to deliver lots more profiles to key stakeholders in the business. Our CSM, Rianna is also excellent and is a pleasure to deal with on a day to day basis.

There arent any, the platform makes my life much easier and the support we recieved from the team is always great. If there was once thing I would want is slightly more candidates in the south west however the market for cleared candidates there is limited anyway.

The team behind the platform is great as well, with plenty of support to get you up to speed initially and then to help maximise the potential on the platform.

The location element has caused some small issues for us. Candidates will list almost all of the UK as an option for roles, when in reality you speak to them and they are unable to commute to hybrid in your location.

It's reduced both our time to hire and cost per hire, and it's particularly helpful that outreach and scheduling contact/interviews can all be done through the platform. I've used the Source and Brand tools and the account management team across both of them have been excellent.
