**What do you like best about gvSIG?**

I believe that gvSIG has advanced a lot compared to when I first used it, around the year 2008. Currently, it provides a complete suite, not only offering the Desktop version for advanced analysis, but also having its online version (cloud data) and mobile version (very good for data collection in the field). It is an open-source program that is also easy to install, and it can be used on various operating systems without problems. It is a very good GIS option. It has a variety of options for customer support, however, its response time is variable. It also offers data interoperability.

**What do you dislike about gvSIG?**

Its graphical interface is less intuitive compared to other GIS software, especially for beginner users. Particularly, I find that the options for cartographic output design are limited, which is why it is not the program I frequently use for this purpose.

**What problems is gvSIG solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Basically, it provides all the benefits of GIS (geocoding, georeferencing, data centralization, spatial analysis, image processing, cartographic outputs, among others). On the other hand, being open source, it offers technological independence to its users and total control over the tools. It also offers data interoperability, accepting the most recent standards and connecting to the spatial databases most used by professionals today.

**What do you like best about gvSIG?**

Simple GUI and well-documented and Mobile application for the field and 3D capabilities is very good.Its Cad tools are very powerful. Its is an open source software

**What do you dislike about gvSIG?**

its community support is smaller. for map making and cartography it is not good.There si not much support for lidar data.Interface is not as user friendly compared to other commericak GIS softwares

**What problems is gvSIG solving and how is that benefiting you?**

gvSIG puts your GIS data into the third dimension with its 3D plugin.One of the neat things is that you can sync your viewport and create fly-throughs. This is beneficial because you can know where you are on the map at all times
