"Simple, Robust Payroll with Streamlined Onboarding and Integrated 401(k)"
5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

Gusto is extremely simple to use, however robust at the same time. It is really easy to track employee time off, sick time, and payroll hours. I also use the 401K feature, which is great that it is integrated into the same platform. The pricing is very reasonable for all that Gusto does for my business. Onboard for a new employee is very streamlined and only takes a few minutes. My employees also say that the dashboard is user friendly and easy to track their pay. What do you dislike about Gusto?

I truly cannot identify any downsides to Gusto. I really enjoy the platform and don't have any issues. I've also used a live representative to help troubleshoot a problem and they were very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Time Tracking That Makes Clocking In and Breaks Stress-Free"
5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

I like how user friendly it is. From the first log in, it was easy to use and I knew to go for exactly what I was needing. As a work from home remote employee, i especially like the ability to track my time and monitor my hours on the time tracking page. Being able to clock in easily and take breaks really takes the stress off of having to manually account for my work hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

The only downside is that I have noticed some discrepancies in the paycheck tracker. The timeline for the status of my actual check does not align, and I wish it were easier to find my full paystub. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clean, Intuitive Payroll with Smooth Self-Service Onboarding"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

The interface is clean and intuitive, which is especially important for people who aren’t payroll specialists. Onboarding new employees feels smooth, thanks to self-service accounts that let workers enter their own details, view pay stubs, and manage tax documents without constant back-and-forth. Direct deposit has been reliable, and I also like that the platform supports contractors alongside W-2 employees, which is convenient for businesses with a mixed workforce. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

On the downside, pricing can climb as you add employees and features, and some of the more advanced HR tools sit behind higher tiers. Customer support gets mixed feedback, with some users praising quick help and others noting slower response times during busy periods. Health insurance availability also varies by state. I find Gusto easy to use, whether I'm logging in from any platform in a hurry. Its functionality makes accessing all the info I need a breeze. I can easily clock in and out and keep track of how many hours I've worked. I appreciate that it shows my paychecks early, so I know in advance how much I will be paid. The initial setup of Gusto was very easy to follow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined HR Tasks with Ease, Short Login Duration"
5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

I like the ease of use and the functionality of the dashboard in Gusto. I appreciate the ways to edit and keep time, and I really value the ability to coordinate time off within the same app or website. These features make my use of time more efficient by providing a central place to complete and keep record of functions pertaining to HR. The initial setup was also easy, with clear instructions to ensure it was done correctly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

The timeout period you can stay logged in for is kind of short, and is sometimes a hassle to have to log back in so quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Payroll Workflow That Save Time Every Pay Cycle"
5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

I love how intuitive the platform is when it comes to making payroll adjustments, such as modifying employee hours or processing reimbursements. The process is straightforward and efficient, which has significantly reduced the time I spend on administrative tasks each pay cycle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

I don’t think I’ve come across any real issues so far. We’re getting ready to integrate QuickBooks soon with this platform, and I’m excited to see where it takes us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Payroll, Benefits, and HR Made Simple with Gusto"
4/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

What I like best about Gusto is its intuitive UI/UX and how easy it is to navigate, even for users who may not have extensive HR or payroll experience. The platform's integrations with other business tools create a seamless workflow, while its strong performance helps businesses save time and reduce administrative headaches. I also appreciate Gusto's focus on support and onboarding, as well as its use of AI and automation to simplify payroll, benefits, and HR tasks, creating a strong return on investment for growing businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

If I had to identify an area for improvement, it would be expanding some of the advanced customization and reporting capabilities for larger organizations with more complex needs. While Gusto's simplicity is one of its greatest strengths, additional flexibility in integrations, AI-driven insights, and advanced analytics could provide even more value. That said, I believe Gusto does an excellent job balancing ease of use, performance, pricing, and customer support for the majority of businesses it serves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Gusto is helping Employees at all levels put their money to work for them ."
5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

I like that it's not just a paycheck service. I love playing with all the different features like setting up a budget and having my pay go into different types of 401k/savings accounts. I have always struggled to manage and save my money even though I make a very good amount. Gusto is helping me become financially responsible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

I don't like that when I get advances I still have to pay a fee to have the money immediately deposited even though it is going to the same company. It could maybe be more seamless integrating with my accounts without having to pay fees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Gusto Makes Payroll and Onboarding Effortless"
5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

I've used Gusto at 2 companies now and I absolutely love it. It is incredibly helpful how integrated everything is, how clean and user friendly the user interface is, and I easily can access anything I'm looking for. I rarely need to reach out to HR for help. The onboarding is incredibly easy and self explanatory. The suggested FAQs and features are also valuable including the automatically suggested actions and support offered. I've never had the program glitch or look off. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

I don't think there's anything that is less helpful or that I dislike. Something that could be helpful is better suggestions for how to fill out W4s and what the impact to take home pay would be or potential tax impacts. I don't have visibility into what Gusto costs in terms of enterprise pricing, but whatever it is it seems to be worth it and I would expect a high ROI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
