"Gusto Makes Payroll, Benefits, and HR Easy for Growing Businesses"
5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

What I like most about Gusto is its mission of making payroll, benefits, and HR easier for small and medium-sized businesses. Many business owners want to focus on growing their company rather than dealing with administrative challenges, and Gusto helps simplify those processes through technology. I also appreciate Gusto's focus on creating a positive customer experience and building products that have a direct impact on both employers and employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

I don't have any major dislikes about Gusto. Like any growing company, there are always opportunities for improvement, but that's also what makes it an exciting place to work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable, Straightforward Navigation with Helpful Paycheck Notifications"
5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

I like that the navigation menu is very straight forward and you don't need a tutorial to use it. It is easy to reset your password if needed without having to ask for extra support. I also like that I get email notifications about paychecks and documents I need to sign. It is reliable and I like that AI features aren't forced on me. It is also nice that is easy to integrate Turbotax if you want. As far as I can tell the pricing is reasonable for what you get. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

One performance issue is that you have to sign in each time even if you are actively logged in in another window. Sometimes I like to have two tabs because it easier to refer to paperwork, this could be improved by having the other tab log you in automatically. I also wish there was an app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Gusto Saves Time with Straightforward, User-Friendly Payroll"
4/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

The best thing about Gusto is the amount of time it saves me. Running payroll is straightforward, tax filings are automated, and the platform is genuinely user-friendly. It removes a lot of the complexity from payroll and frees me up to focus on running my business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

I haven’t run into any major issues with Gusto so far. If I had to call out one downside, it’s that the monthly pricing can start to add up for very small businesses. Even so, the convenience of automated payroll and tax filings more than makes up for that in my experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Setup, Fast Payroll, and Helpful Support with Gusto"
5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

Gusto has been one of the better payroll processors I've had. It is very easy to setup, very easy to navigate, and most times I get my payroll 2 days in advance.

I applied early on for the Gusto card/bank account and so far I've really liked having it. It is a great "backup" bank option. Zero fees, accepted almost everywhere and I never have to worry about support. Every person I've ever chatted with has been knowledgeable and helpful.

I also love how easy it has been to connect gusto to my other accounts and platforms. It is seriously one click most times. Overall, if Gusto is an option I would highly suggest them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

There have been a few times my Gusto account doesn't work, but it is rare. I do wish the alerts came through more timely. It can be scary to see "Your charge for x amount went through" 3 days after the actual event. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Robust Payroll with Streamlined Onboarding and Integrated 401(k)"
5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

Gusto is extremely simple to use, however robust at the same time. It is really easy to track employee time off, sick time, and payroll hours. I also use the 401K feature, which is great that it is integrated into the same platform. The pricing is very reasonable for all that Gusto does for my business. Onboard for a new employee is very streamlined and only takes a few minutes. My employees also say that the dashboard is user friendly and easy to track their pay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

I truly cannot identify any downsides to Gusto. I really enjoy the platform and don't have any issues. I've also used a live representative to help troubleshoot a problem and they were very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Time Tracking That Makes Clocking In and Breaks Stress-Free"
5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

I like how user friendly it is. From the first log in, it was easy to use and I knew to go for exactly what I was needing. As a work from home remote employee, i especially like the ability to track my time and monitor my hours on the time tracking page. Being able to clock in easily and take breaks really takes the stress off of having to manually account for my work hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

The only downside is that I have noticed some discrepancies in the paycheck tracker. The timeline for the status of my actual check does not align, and I wish it were easier to find my full paystub. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clean, Intuitive Payroll with Smooth Self-Service Onboarding"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

The interface is clean and intuitive, which is especially important for people who aren’t payroll specialists. Onboarding new employees feels smooth, thanks to self-service accounts that let workers enter their own details, view pay stubs, and manage tax documents without constant back-and-forth. Direct deposit has been reliable, and I also like that the platform supports contractors alongside W-2 employees, which is convenient for businesses with a mixed workforce. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

On the downside, pricing can climb as you add employees and features, and some of the more advanced HR tools sit behind higher tiers. Customer support gets mixed feedback, with some users praising quick help and others noting slower response times during busy periods. Health insurance availability also varies by state. "Streamlined HR Tasks with Ease, Short Login Duration"
5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

I like the ease of use and the functionality of the dashboard in Gusto. I appreciate the ways to edit and keep time, and I really value the ability to coordinate time off within the same app or website. These features make my use of time more efficient by providing a central place to complete and keep record of functions pertaining to HR. The initial setup was also easy, with clear instructions to ensure it was done correctly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

The timeout period you can stay logged in for is kind of short, and is sometimes a hassle to have to log back in so quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Payroll, Benefits, and HR Made Simple with Gusto"
4/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

What I like best about Gusto is its intuitive UI/UX and how easy it is to navigate, even for users who may not have extensive HR or payroll experience. The platform's integrations with other business tools create a seamless workflow, while its strong performance helps businesses save time and reduce administrative headaches. I also appreciate Gusto's focus on support and onboarding, as well as its use of AI and automation to simplify payroll, benefits, and HR tasks, creating a strong return on investment for growing businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

If I had to identify an area for improvement, it would be expanding some of the advanced customization and reporting capabilities for larger organizations with more complex needs. While Gusto's simplicity is one of its greatest strengths, additional flexibility in integrations, AI-driven insights, and advanced analytics could provide even more value. That said, I believe Gusto does an excellent job balancing ease of use, performance, pricing, and customer support for the majority of businesses it serves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Gusto is helping Employees at all levels put their money to work for them ."
5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

I like that it's not just a paycheck service. I love playing with all the different features like setting up a budget and having my pay go into different types of 401k/savings accounts. I have always struggled to manage and save my money even though I make a very good amount. Gusto is helping me become financially responsible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

I don't like that when I get advances I still have to pay a fee to have the money immediately deposited even though it is going to the same company. It could maybe be more seamless integrating with my accounts without having to pay fees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
